The Heiress'S Love

The Heiress'S Love
Chapter 25. She’s Gone

With staggered steps, James picked up his clothes on the floor before heading for the bathroom. The sun had shone brightly out there, leaving a heat that enveloped the air. James flushed all over his body under the cold water to remove the sweat. Only after feeling more refreshed did he return to the room while wearing his clothes.

On the bed, James saw Grace still coiled spoiled without caring the weather was already scorching. James left Grace out of the room. Ever since the girl came back, James didn't think he would be interested in her at all. But somehow he spent a long time in bed with Grace to almost make him forget time. Something pushed his passion to continue touching Grace nonstop. He only hoped that Natasha would not realize his actions even though it was impossible for that to happen.

James's heart raced fast as he turned Natasha's bedroom door knob. I don't know what reason she's gonna make to convince Natasha that what she's doing with Grace isn't about loving each other. James let out a sigh of relief when he saw that Natasha's room had been empty, but also felt guilty about it. With a wander, James walked out of the house. Leaving Grace just like that without a word. He just wants to clear his mind.

Throughout the day, James spent his time at the Dark Devil's training ground. Busy yourself physical training to get rid of the chaos that is happening in his mind. As a member of the Dark Devil he actually has duties given his superiors, but since Natasha lives with him, James has had a little free time to run his job. His superiors, who were close relatives of Romanov, emphasized James' duties as Natasha's bodyguard over other occupations. Even so, it wasn't easy for James to take care of Natasha especially when feelings were more controlling than his wits. He tends to curb Natasha more because of her jealousy compared to the safety of the girl herself.

Just before midnight, James returned home. Although Grace welcomed him warmly, James remained cold. He ignores Grace, who follows him to Natasha's room. Whatever James expected in his heart, it simply vanished when he saw the room was empty. Just like when he opened it this morning. There was no sign of Natasha's presence there, even Natasha's belongings were still neatly untouched.

“Your sister since the morning was not seen, maybe still having fun with her friend,” chatter Grace looked at James's anger.

“Be quiet.” James pulls the phone out of his pants pocket, trying to reach Natasha. But many times he tried to contact Natasha's phone, always connected with the operator.

Not caring about Grace's words anymore, James got out to his car. Anxiety mixed with anger struggling into one. He had warned Natasha not to get along with Sean, but her words were not at all understood. Once he let his guard down, the girl came back close to Sean. At high speed, James drove towards Sean's house to bring him home.

Arriving at Sean's house, without a second thought James immediately banged on the door many times until the owner of the house came out. Sean looked surprised to see his arrival. “Where is Natasha?”

“He's not here,” replied Sean ketus.

“Do not try to hide it from me.” James tries to rush into the house, but Sean more deftly blocks him.

“I told you he's not here,” Sean said up.

“He hasn't come home until now, and the only man responsible with that is just you!” accuse James.

Both of Sean's eyes immediately darkened to hear James' words. He remembers Natasha had a ticket to Spain and it was James who should be accompanying the girl now. “I'll help you remember what you promised him.”

Without wasting any time, Sean directly hit James in the face. The man staggered back because he was unprepared for the surprise attack.

“Do you remember what you promised Natasha today?!” sean snapped before James could reply.

“I didn't promise her anything!” James rubbed his bruised cheek.

Sean once again hit James. This time not only once, but he did so incessantly making James dazed, slumped on the floor.

“You promised a vacation to Spain, asshole!!”

James was shocked to hear Sean's words. La Tomatina festival holiday ticket that he gave as Natasha's birthday gift, the festival event is today. “He can't get there alone.” James shakes trying to deny.

“Then where is he?” asked Sean sharply.

James's mouth was locked tightly, not knowing what to answer. If Natasha had been at Daniel's place, she would have gotten word from the man. But until now there was no news from Daniel. Still with a dazed look, James moved towards the car. The only way to confirm Natasha's whereabouts is the ticket she had been given some time ago.

After James's death, the door to the house was the only place Sean could be upset. Loud thumping sounds rang out all over the house. He should have guessed all this. James was completely unbelievable, the man had pushed Natasha too far. Now the girl was far away in Spain without anyone accompanying her.

“Prepare the plane!” sean's orders are so connected to his confidants.

With wide steps, Sean took the car keys. He must find Natasha first before James gets her back. The silence in the middle of the night made it easier for Sean to reach the airport faster. He could see his private plane had just exited the hangar when he got there.

“Prepare a trip to Spain,” command Sean once a middle-aged man walks over.

“Ke Spain, Young Master?” repeat the man wants to make sure.

“Do as soon as possible and have your people there comb through every area in Bunol to find Natasha,”.

“Natasha Romanov, are you sure?” the man looks angry.

“What my words are less clear hah!”

“Sorry Young Master, getting rid of Squires is not a difficult thing. But dealing with Romanov..”.

“Close your mouth, Mark. Do what I tell you. Romanov is my business.”

In Natasha's still-silent room, James rummages through looking for a ticket to Valencia. He eventually finds one of the tickets tucked neatly inside Natasha's study drawer, while the other does not meet. Turning to the closet, James checked Natasha's clothes and luggage. Some clothes did not look complete with the suitcase.

James squeezed his hair in frustration. He had not expected Natasha to be so determined as to go alone without an escort. Not to mention Natasha's phone that couldn't be contacted at all until now. Without a second thought, James called Jason for help. Only the man was James' only hope that could help without looking for him first.

“You want to go?” grace looked riled up.

“I have to find Natasha,” replied James coldly.

“For what to look for? Your sister really doesn't know herself, loves having fun out there until she forgets time.”

“Shut your mouth, Grace. He wouldn't have left if you weren't the cause!” snapped James.

“I? What am I doing?” Grace looked at James not accepting.

“What did you mix in my drink Grace?”

“I don't mix anything into your drink.”

“Oh yes?! You are absolutely unbelievable!!!”

“We've been used to doing it a long time, before your fucking sister came. Then why are you questioning what's going on now?!” grace said she didn't accept.

“Because I haven't been interested in you since you got back. These two days I don't feel like me, if you don't cheat. I'll never do it with you again!” James's breath was seen hunting with a sharp gaze testing Grace. “Start now get out of my house and never see me again!!!”

Valencia, Spain

The man hugged Natasha tightly, letting the girl cry in his chest. It was only after Natasha felt better that she unraveled the embrace. The girl looked very messy, her hair and clothes were tangled, her eyes were ashen on her pale face as well as the blood flowing at her waist added to her increased anxiety levels. Whatever just happened must have been very bad.

“What are you doing here, and what happened to you?”

“I..”

Ivan again held Natasha in his arms, he spread his gaze around them. It's not safe to stay there. Maybe someone's still after Natasha. “I'd better take you to my house. It's safer there.

Be careful Ivan told Natasha to get in the car. He checked Natasha's wound, which had been bandaged. But it seemed like the wound behind the bandage opened until the blood poured out. After making sure Natasha's injuries weren't so severe, she ran her car at high speed towards the house.

The journey back home was shorter than usual, Ivan immediately told his men to increase the guard around the mansion. He doesn't want to take any chances, considering Natasha is with him and the people who hurt Natasha may still be after the girl. He carried Natasha to his room, seeing how pale Natasha was right now.

“Who did this to you?” ivan asked slightly surprised as he examined Natasha's wound coming from the shot.

Natasha shook her head weakly, “I don't know them.”

“Hold a minute, this may hurt a little,” pinta Ivan who has prepared the P3K box. Carefully he cleans Natasha's wound and treats it. Fortunately the blood that came out was not too much, all Natasha needed was rest after she closed the wound.

“What did they do to you?” Ivan again asked after finishing with Natasha's wounds.

“They kidnapped me at the festival yesterday and took me home. One of them said they knew Daddy, they used to be friends. Then he said I was the boy.” Natasha told Ivan everything she had just experienced with tears breaking.

“Who?”

“Braga.”

Natasha's reply was like a thunderbolt by day for Ivan. He was only able to look at Natasha riled up without being able to say anything.
