Chp. 33 Level 5: Second Floor Tower.

Evans later found one book that seemed to be a novel, he only read it at a glance before proceeding to another store.

Evans' guess is that everything is a book, after buying it he searched for a quiet place and found five skill cards from behind the book cover.

Why is everything the same, Evans thought. The five skill cards he found were Energy Swords, whereas he already had one of these abilities.

[400,000 Coins]

After selling all four skill-class (A ) cards, Evans now wears a mask and goggles to cover his identity in a Skill Card Shop, Excel City.

The store is very similar to a regular supermarket but with all the cards neatly lined up on the shelves, the, the price also varies from the cheapest class (F ) to the most expensive skill card (A ) class.

Evans then saw one by one card there, he then found one card that made him a little interested in the rack, the price is also quite affordable according to him only need 50,000 coins only.

"I'll take this one." Evans's headed to the cashier's desk.

Furthermore, now Evans headed to the side shop of the Skill Card Shop because it was purely on his own curiosity.

There is a sign named Weapon Shop City Excel. Evans doesn't know if he's really going to buy a gun or not, it's probably never going to be used in his opinion.

After standing for a long time in front of the shop, Evans nodded and began to step in, however one should be able to guard himself from all dangers as well as his enemies.

It took him a minute before Evans finally walked out of the gun shop and stored his newly purchased weapon into an inventory.

Evans sees a variety of good and unique weapons, has a variety of blunt weapons and sharp weapons.

Evans did not even understand how to use it, he then remembered the weapon used by Bam and Suzi thought it would be easy to use a similar weapon so he came out with a sword in hand.

After finishing all his affairs, Evans began moving back home to the Paguyuban Usaha Tani Dormitory.

On the way, Evans spotted a large mat on the cheap in front of the store and decided to look around, "Oh, I think a mat will help."

"So you know who did it?!"

"I'm sorry Mr. Massa, the perpetrator is still unknown. That guy's wearing glasses and a face cover." Someone subordinate lowered his head.

"How can the person know the location where the card is hidden, even his own book is different in each store... Then, is it one of our guys?" Massa bit his lip.

This old man was Massa Koujiro, the Moonlight Master Guild.

Massa does have an aging body but his body still remains firm and muscular like a bodybuilder, his own hallmark is a mature brown skin and a long white beard that he handles all the time.

Massa and Sam have an uneasy relationship and often get into conflict between the two.

There used to be one big incident that made them quarrel and almost split the unity of the players inside the island making it two camps and hostile to each other.

Before the incident escalates into civil war, Sam goes ahead and challenges Massa to a duel.

His second fight lasted even one day with the victory of the strongest player Sam and Massa who lost was finally killed, he got a level reduction penalty and fell to second place for good.

Although Massa still could never catch up to Sam, the difference in their level distance would remain the same even further away.

After so long harboring feelings of hatred and resentment, Massa finally returned to action he reassembled strength, troops and other valuable resources, even invited some large guilds to follow him.

The mob told everyone that if Sam was left alone, Sam would become a god within the Tower, no one could defeat him on the island.

Sam will become an absolute ruler, a ruthless and invincible Tyrant.

"Quick find that mysterious player, teach him a valuable lesson and ask him who he knows this from." Massa's tone was so cold to his subordinates.

...***...

Two days passed, each afternoon after they worked in the Evans field and Bam went into the Tower to level up until nightfall and went home with a low sigh and a long sigh.

Evans always invites Bam to go to the floor higher than the floor they are hunting at the moment, but Bam rejected it and thought to be a strong player is not always related to high levels as well but skills and techniques must also be honed in order to improve.

Bam just shook his head at Evans at least he wanted to spend a month on this second floor.

Bam only knows two weapons he can trust forever, perseverance and patience.

The principle that Bam had used for ten years inside the Tower, finally managed to make him an early Intermediate Level player with level 79.

Bam understands very well that patience and practice are the ones that improve the skills of his sword techniques the most.

In the afternoon, they re-entered the Tower after defeating all the monsters on the first floor.

Evans and Bam paid the entrance fee for the second floor and repeated the process.

In front of Evans were now five horse-like but one-horned monsters and had green stripes all over them, repeatedly striking their feet to the ground and neighing at the two, "Ngik... Ngik..."

"It looks like they are the strongest monsters from this second floor." Bam who saw it just smiled widely and ran first followed by Evans from behind.

"Slash."

Bam managed to defeat the last monster they hunted, one horse now lying lifeless on the ground and a sword that stuck in his body, did not feel the day was getting darker.

Though they are inside the Tower but the sky is also adjusting to the circumstances outside it, Bam intends to end the hunt until here.

He put his sword back together and put it back in the inventory.

"Wait a minute, there's a place I want to go."

"Where is that? Just so you know I don't want to go up to the third floor."

"I think it's very close." Evans points one way to make Bam turn and follow his lead.

"Here?" Evans just nodded in order to justify it.

As long as neither going to the third floor nor above it Bam would agree to it.

They then immediately rushed off in the designated direction with Evans leading in front.
