Chapter 20

In the Rector's office, Brian and Vince were seated facing Abraham. There were only the three of them, Brian looked very relaxed once and felt like there was no problem.

Abraham as the Rector of the University to the point of twitching his brows stared at Brian's indifferent expression. While Vince could not take his eyes off Brian. Though he had just been beaten by one campus earlier, but Brian still seemed very calm.

"Vince is a warning to you, you're an accomplished student so I hope you won't cause any more problems like this" Abraham told Vince.

"All right sir, I understand."

Vince then immediately stood up and left the room while giving a mocking look at Brian.

He already knew that he would not be punished by the Rector sir, because he was the King of School. But he felt sorry for Brian. As a new student he's been making trouble, Vince is convinced that Brian will soon be expelled from the campus according to his plan.

"Brian, what should I do to you now? Should I call your father?"

"As for you uncle, there's nothing I can expect from the old man anyway."

"Well for brother-in-law, I'll give you one more chance. If you make a mistake like this again, then I'm forced to give you a severe sanction."

"Then I thank you to you this time uncle,"

Hearing Brian's expression of gratitude made Abraham unable to not look at him seriously. He knew very well the nature of his nephew, this was the first time Brian had thanked someone other than his mother.

"But I have one question?" brian said as he stood up and walked slowly towards the window. Brian then dropped his gaze out the window, can be seen clearly from up there the whole atmosphere of Leighton University which is filled by all students busy with each activity.

Abraham then propped up his chin with both backs of his palms and began to look at Brian closely.

"What do you want to ask?"

"It's not that important, it's just that I'm very curious, whether Leighton is indeed mastered by the King of School."

Abraham could only sigh lightly after getting the question from Brian. He then stood up and walked over to Brian.

"Are you also interested in that kind of thing?" ask Abraham.

"If I refuse to be the next leader of the family, then why would I be interested in that ridiculous title" Brian said with a flat expression.

Abraham was amazed to hear that, he did not expect that Brian really had rejected the position of the next family leader.

"Then why are you asking about that ridiculous thing?"

"I'm not interested at all, it's just that I hate your college system for letting people like Vince do things at will."

"Heeeeh," Abraham sighed again, his expression looking sad, "want how else he has perfected the name of this campus with his brilliant achievements, therefore the disciples consider him as king. Besides, his father is one of the deans here."

Brian nodded lightly after hearing Abraham's explanation. Finally he understood why Vince was so powerful on campus and was released so easily.

"Brian forget about Vince, I hear you're at the college's annual dance competition."

"Keep what do you care?"

Brian then recalled the past where he danced in front of his father during Kindergarten. At that time Brian deliberately made a surprise for his father by dancing on the stage, but accidentally he made a mistake and instead fell and destroyed the entire stage.

Actually Brian had buried the dream since childhood, he never had the support of his father. Since Brian knew that Zoya had the same hobby as him, suddenly his dreams gradually began to grow back. Because that's why Brian wanted to follow Zoya when he wanted to go dance practice yesterday, and therefore also Brian wanted to join a dance competition.

"Uncle I don't want to talk about it" Brian cut out who tried to reverse their discussion of Vince earlier.

"Annual sports competition among the Unversities."

"What's? Didn't you just say you weren't interested in that ridiculous title."

"Well, I did, but right now I'm dying to destroy Vince who played me."

For a moment Abraham was silent, he understood it seemed like this was a matter between young people. Bria wants to avenge Vince, he does not accept himself who has been rocked by one campus earlier. Just because his father was a dean made Vince feel very arrogant. He had no idea that the owner of this University was Brian's family, the Cody Family.

"I just want to tell you something Brian, do as you please. But don't let you make trouble with him, if you want to get back at him then do it on the field with sportsmanship."

"Well I know, therefore I want uncle to announce myself as the leader of the second team that will represent Leighton."

"Haha, there's one reason why until now I haven't announced who the second team is. Because no one wants to, precisely on this campus no one dares to present themselves as a second team because of Vince."

"Well Vince is very dominant on this campus, hahaha."

Brian just narrowed his eyes at Abraham who was laughing bitterly. It seems that he has absolutely no problem with Vince acting like a king here.

"Alright Brian gather your team as soon as possible, because the sports competition will start in another month to coincide with the campus annual dance competition event. And we'll be the hosts, it'll be a very festive event, hahaha."

"From the beginning I heard you talking on the field yesterday, I knew you were different from the old man. If only he were like you, glad I could talk to you uncle."

Brian then immediately left the room. Ever since he set foot on this campus, Brian didn't want to stand out at all. But Vince seems to be provoking him. Now he has two goals: to destroy Vince and bring both trophies.
