Chapter 4

In the evening Brian stood on the balcony of his room and looked up at the sky full of stars.

Then there was the sound of the room door opening, Brian suddenly glanced back to see his mother who came to him.

"Brian tomorrow I'm going home, I hope you can stay here well." Said Michelle in a soft tone.

"At the end of the day you threw me away too, it seems you don't want me anymore." Brian said without looking at his mother's face, his gaze falling onto the garden courtyard which looked very beautiful at night.

"Please don't say that, you know your father is angry right now, so I brought you here." Michelle held onto her son's shoulder and tried to make him understand. "If you stay there, I'm afraid your relationship will get worse, so I'd better keep you apart for a while so you can calm down."

Brian seemed not to care about his mother's words, he felt that he had really been dumped.

"Do you know Brian? Mbok Ratih and his family are good people, they've been guarding this house for eighteen years."

Brian wiped away his mother's tears and said, "Don't equate me with the old man. Although I have a grudge against you, but I can't see you crying mom. He might be able to dump me, but tell the old man, if he dares to touch my mother, then I won't stay silent." Brian said firmly.

Finally, Michelle decided to temporarily separate the father and son so that they could put a damper on the dispute. Because Michelle knows that her father Brian may be a hard man but she also definitely doesn't want to lose her son, after they sense that how much pain it is to stay away from each other, maybe it'll wake the father and the boy up.

The next morning, Michelle had to leave early in the morning because her plane was about to fly at seven. She began to walk out and it was seen that her husband Siman sir was waiting for her, before leaving she said goodbye to Ratih's mom.

"Mbok please take care of Brian, this might be a bit of a hassle for the crib." Say Michelle softly.

"Thank you, but Brian's not like a normal kid, you might have a little trouble dealing with it."

"I mean madam?"

"He's still sleeping, he can't be disturbed if he's sleeping, which is why I said goodbye to him last night." Michelle then sat in the car seat.

Hearing that Ratih nodded and started waving her hands at Michelle.

With Michelle feeling sad to leave her beloved son here, she stared at Brian's room upstairs from the windshield. Her tears flowed instantly, it was certainly heavy for a mother to stay away from her son.

"Brian, I hope you and your father can change after this." Michelle said with a meaningful expression. "Road sir!"

Siman immediately started the car and left the Cody family residence.

Seen from the window Brian looked at the departure of the mother, his expression was flat but actually in the heart he also felt sadness because of parting with his mother, indeed Brian never showed his affection for the mother, Brian never showed his affection for the mother, but if something happens to his mother, Brian will be a shield ready to protect his mother.
