Chapter 16: Arriving in Suin

“Your Majesty! Hand of Justice sends its envoy.”

Suddenly Deimr entered the meeting room. Pabel and the king looked at him. Deimr handed a scroll made of ox skin to the king. Hanzes who was previously noisier with Tiir had already calmed down and sheathed his sword.

“Their demands will be answered soon. Immediately give a reply to Kortov.”

“Good, Your Highness.”

Right after Arcansas asked the question, the woman fainted. It seems he should be helped soon. Arcansas took the woman to a building that was still good even though the roof was damaged.

Arcansas nodded with confidence. Lian did not expect, she was dealing with a vile person. According to rumors, the Red Lion is very much feared. Many people were tortured by him despite being both Suin people.

“Why put on a face like that. You scared of me?” ask Arcansas.

The woman simply fell silent and looked at Arcansas.

“Do not fear.” Arcansas.

“Ke—why not kill me. You—saved me.”

“Thank you. I'm not passionate about killing the weak.”

Lian nodded and took a deep breath. He tried to be calm in front of the monster.
