Chapter 27: A Burning Love

After successfully obtaining Livinett, he told all his troops to immediately leave the battlefield. Firtos drunks the ground, causing dust to fly.

The pace of the soldiers belonging to Arcansas added the dust more concentrated. Firtos escapes with Arcansas, and before he leaves, Karl speaks with Firtos.

“Why are you siding with the enemy?”

“He's not the enemy! He is a savior who has stopped the atrocities in the west five years ago.”

“What do you mean?” Karl's distraught.

“When the deadly plague was circulating, many residents in the west who were not immigrants were slaughtered by the Iron Forehead of Arbitos! You're not gonna forget that, are you? Liobo killed our family and all our friends!”

“What's the connection!”

“Dia! Arcansas is the savior who repulsed Liobo and the Arbitos forces. Don't you remember the psychic prophecy from Dokaan Mountain? He said that warriors fester and have great power will save us from the oppression perpetrated by Liobo.”

“That's just grandma peyot's prophecy! There is no way Arcansas helped us, at that time Liobo did retreat because of resistance from us!”

“No! All as predicted! From the top of the cliff, I saw the shape of the body and the way of archery as Arcansas did. The violent storm, as well as the lightning that kept licking from the sky, proved that the person of that time was Arcansas. I saw him doing strange horses before throwing his arrows so that they can cause great power.”

“You were just thinking too much about those old psychic words. After all, our goal has been achieved, right? We have trained very hard, so that now it has managed to kill Liobo.”

“Yes. But I'll follow Arcansas.”

It turns out that the Iron Forehead of Arbitos aka Liobo has been killed at the hands of Firtos and other members of the Cartax Triad. Charles still did not believe Firtos' words. The Red Lion of Suin came to Pegalisch and helped end the plight of the western population accused of spreading a deadly plague. If indeed Firtos sided with Arcansas, one step more surely Arcansas could rule in Pegalisch.

Lian greeted the returning Arcansas, who were taking captives of very beautiful women. The chefs as well as some soldiers guarding the encampment came to Arcansas and the entourage. They were stunned when they looked at the beautiful girl who was carried by Arcansas. Livinett continued to thrash, but could not escape from Arcansas.

“Shut up! If you continue to be noisy, the wedding will be immediate!” Arcansas threatened.

“I don't want to! Let go of me right now!”

“Say silent! You're so annoying for having the courage to trick me. But, you are beautiful, I am captivated by your face. Marry me.”

“Do not hope! I said let go, you crazy!”

Arcansas doesn't comment on Livinett's words anymore. He took the princess to the camp, then told his subordinate soldiers to open the cage. Livinet was locked inside a very strong and large iron cage inside the tent.

The tent was quite spacious, but it was dark inside. The Wilson twins lay their bodies on the grass. View some of the visible mountain peaks.

Ulvir's wolf approaches Lian. The wolf looked out, it was running, heading, and wagging its tail. That enormous wolf had beautiful eyes.

After finishing serving the food, Lian gave the wolf a piece of meat. All the soldiers looked hungry after the war and made the long journey. Incredibly, by a small amount, they were able to corner the Pedral Kingdom's army.

King Trill was certainly frightened and sad. Her only daughter has become a prisoner and is in the cage of a savage monster named Arcansas.

Lian approached Arcansas who was sitting in front of the tent. Inside the tent, Livinett was silent because she was confined.

“Why are your hands up like that?” ask Lian.

“Only small wound,” Arcansas disallow.

Lian left, before long she returned and sat down beside Arcansas.

“See your hand, will I treat.”

Arcansas didn't understand why Lian wanted to treat the wound. “Medicine? Treating these wounds?” ask Arcansas.

“Iya. Where, give me your hand.”

“You must be careful, do not get hurt again.” Lian said attentively.

“Be quiet and just do your job,” Arcansas ketus.

“This medicinal herb is very efficacious. In these mountains it turns out that there are many incredible medicinal plants.”

“Say silent!” Arcansas.

He then looked at Lian who was sincerely treating her wound. Feeling bad, Arcansas tried to ask more gently.

“Why do you know about medicinal plants?”

“I healer. In the past, my family all had knowledge of medicinal plants.”

Surprisingly, it turned out that the woman was of no use as well. Arcansas was lucky not to kill Lian. If Arcansas had just let the woman die, he probably would not have gotten the advantage Lian had.

Arcansas seemed annoyed, as his precious army had been destroyed. His frustration began to subside, he had just taken revenge and kidnapped the royal princess.

Lian became silent, she stopped and lowered her head.

“Why stop? Already finished not treating this wound?”

“Already,” replied Lian shrieked.

The woman then left Arcansas alone. Ulvir eats greedily, the Wilson twins also seem to be fighting over meat. Arcansas took the meat that Lian had brought, then devoured it.

The Aranos Mountains are back in noise. Filiora just took a bath in the river. He returned while scolding the two men who were tailing behind him.

“Surely you guys peeked at me! I'll rip your eyes out!”

“No. We didn't see you in that river at all!” sahut the bald-headed warrior.

“Awas if lying. I'm kuhajar y'all.”

“True. We didn't know you were bathing in the river. Why not take a shower again? We will escort you.”

Lian clenched her hands before the man's face. “I'll put your head down if you mess with me.”

The river that flows through the Aranos Mountains is a canal or tributary of the Oxin River. The Oxin River flowed from Mount Rez, through the Pedral Palace, then branched out toward the mountains. An Oxin tributary named Xin River, had just been used bathing by Filiora.

Water from the Oxin River flows directly into the Krokalam Strait. The Xin River to Lake Erol. A very large lake, located not far from the Port of Herlour.

The journey from the palace to the Aranos Mountains takes up to five days. That's the time taken by the giants, what if the person who travels is a normal-sized human aka small? Not five days enough.

 Supplies sometimes run out, the Arcansas troops foraging for food by plundering in the homes of residents and hunting if possible.

The time is quite long, because the Pegalisch Continent stretches very wide. Livinett often did not want to eat during the trip, so Arcansas often angry.

The princess could do nothing more. Just resignedly waiting for his death, or married a savage man. Arcansas was smitten with Livinett's beauty, even though the princess had deceived him. But Arcansas didn't kill Livinett.
