The Legend of the Stone Princess Livinett

The Legend of the Stone Princess Livinett
Chapter 22: Hunch

A cold sweat flowed through Arcansas's forehead. His breathing was hunting, his pupils seemed to be shrinking. He looks very scared. Lian and Ulvir were shocked because Arcansas suddenly woke up and shouted.

Lian directly approached Arcansas. The three of them slept inside the basement with wide leaves. A full day they searched the room. Only the parchment contained the newly discovered sword image.

The night was long, as if there were no more mornings for them. Arcansas is still scared. I don't know what happened in his dream.

The bonfire made by Ulvir is still burning even though it is starting to dim. The sound of water droplets falling from the ceiling then hitting the rock was also faintly heard.

“What's up!? You had a bad dream?” ask Lian.

Arcansas tried to catch his breath. Maybe before going to bed he thought about many things or was indeed being anxious. Ulvir yawned while rubbing his eyes.

“This dream. I had worse dreams than usual,” said Arcansas.

Lian and Ulvir are getting curious. What does it mean worse than usual. Did he dream of meeting an alien again?

“What do you dream of?”

“Entah. I'm not sure to call it, maybe it's a dream of my defeat.”

“What do you mean?”

“All my soldiers have been defeated by a mysterious person.”

“Warrior? What do you mean the soldier who wants to take Pegalisch?” Ulvir menucas.

“Yes. They've been slaughtered.”

“It was just a dream. Never mind, you may be thinking too much about all the soldiers you left behind, so carried away dreams.”

“No! My dreams look so vivid and real!” Arcansas.

He seemed to not accept Ulvir's opinion. Was his dream so bad that he was frightened like that. If his army is destroyed, it is only in his dreams. Could Arcansas have an advantage? Can you see the truth through dreams?

“Tenace.” Lian advises.

Ulvir got out of place and added wood and dried leaves to the embers. It didn't take long, the fire grew.

“I became worried about all my men who were in the Aranos Mountains.”

“Ara Mountains...? Aranos?” Ulvir.

“Yes. I left them there and made a truce. War I'm stopping.”

“So they are not at war at the moment. What are you gonna do?”

“I have to go back to the continent. Problems here and others can be thought of later. Actually I want to find out information about this Livinett stone.”

Arcansas pulled out a stone. It was a stone from the princess of the Pedral Kingdom that he had obtained for successfully defeating Liobo.

“Hah! This stone...!?” Ulvir.

The man looked surprised by the stone Arcansas was holding. Lian stared at the stone. Ulvir was like an idiot, his mouth gaping wide.

“You know about this new? His name is stone Livinett.”

“Yah! Yeah-ya-yes. Obviously I know! The stone you held was fake.”

“False?” Arcansas squinted his eyes.

“Try borrowing.”

Arcansas reached out to hand the stone to Ulvir. Upon receiving, Ulvir immediately threw into the campfire. This made Arcansas angry.

“What are you doing, you fool! Why did you throw it into the fire!?”

“Try to look first. The rock melted.” Ulvir pointed towards the fire.

Clearly, the stone was destroyed by fire. The Livinett stone, which is said to have magical powers, is easily destroyed.

“Why can?” Arcansas wonder.

“Clearly. Because it's a fake stone.”

“How did you know? Have you ever seen that stone?”

Ulvir seemed silent. He lowered his head. The bag he was carrying and containing his belongings, was taken away. Ulvir opened the bag made of leather.

It looks like it's a parchment just like the one you found yesterday. However, the parchment held by Ulvir has a larger size. Lian and Arcansas looked at the parchment.

Fake Stone

“Answers?”

“Yes. Check out everything in this parchment.”

Arcansas opened it. He read carefully. Lian also read but did not understand the meaning of the writing there.

The parchment is dirty on the outside, but the writing is still complete and legible.

“You get this parchment here?” ask Arcansas.

“True. I got it when I stopped here. I actually wanted to find the stone. The stone was owned by a princess. Many stories circulating and I heard that the original stone has magical powers.”

Arcansas refocused on reading the writings on the parchment. Until finally he found a sentence that made him goosebumps. Written using pure Nath letters. An ancient spelling with beautiful handwriting patterns.

Authenticity will be visible, unable to burn, will emit a greenish light near the fire. That's the word written on the parchment. Ulvir knew that the stone was fake.

“Will the original stone really emit green light?”

“Entahlah. Because I don't know what the stone is like. When you said Livinett's stone, I just wanted to confirm it by burning it.”

Arcansas sat down cross-legged and continued reading. When he finished, he put on an angry face. It was definitely upset that she had been cheated by Princess Livinett.

“I'll be back to Pegalisch. I'll teach that rotten princess a lesson!”

Suddenly Arcansas expressed his intentions. Ulvir gulped and confirmed his folded sleeves.

“If you want to return to the continent, I will come with you.”

“Cute?”

“Yes. I want to see the stone too. You can use my life for extra strength. Surely your troops will agree if I join.”

Arcansas looked at Ulvir. Presumably the man was reliable, there was no harm in bringing the man into his army.

“As of you. I'll leave right now.”

“What about me? Would you also allow me to come with you to Pegalisch?” suddenly Lian interrupted.

“You? If you're ready to die in a war it doesn't matter. There were some women who followed me, many of them died of disease. The woman is weak!” Arcansas.

“I'd rather die, because my life also has no purpose.”

“Teraju. I'm heading to Pegalisch now, the journey takes five to six days by sailboat.”

They are also prepared. The direction of the wind changes every year. The Pegalisch Continent and the Tsandor Continent were close together and separated from the Krokalm Strait. And of course from Suin Island will pass through the strait.

In the strait there are often storms, sometimes very fierce winds, able to sink sailing ships. The sails were broken, the water was stirring, the wind was very strong. In the strait, it's like risking your life.

“Listen. If you come, you must obey all my orders. I am in charge of my army.”

“Do not talk like that. I have a purpose to see the stone, lucky you can use my power.”

“You yourself are offering. I didn't ask you to go to war.”

Lian could only quietly hear the two men's debate. They kept fighting while cleaning up the tools and turning off the bonfire.

“We have information related to this twin sword. Although not intact because there are only pictures and years of manufacture, at least we know that this sword is an amazing sword,” said Ulvir.

“The sword is still a sword, if you can't use it it will definitely break.” Arcansas responded with a sarcastic nanda.

“We'll see later, whose sword killed Pegalisch's men more.”

“My sword is always bloodthirsty, do not ask again, it is definitely my sword that kills more.” Tukas Arcana.

Lian shuddered in horror at the sadistic conversation Ulvir and Arcansas were having. They were so relaxed about killing and blood. Do men like to take people's lives without feeling sorry for them?

The three of them came out of the ruins and headed to the harbor. The beach looks empty. The smell of volcanic ash is still everywhere. Sea water seemed to dance, they were chasing each other.

A swarm of birds floated above it, some swooping and grabbing the fish. Do not ask again how big, it must be very large. It is remarkable, the giant bodies that inhabit the land.
