Chapter 3: Departing to Luo Xing City

BaiLi Yun Hua marched with seven others in the BaiLi clan hall. Among the eight people lined up, only BaiLi Yun Hua looked extremely shabby and incompatible with the other seven well-looking people. 

The head of the BaiLi Clan who was sitting on the leader's seat looked at BaiLi Yun Hua who was standing at the far right and then swept his gaze from the leftmost person to the far right. The Clan Head looked at BaiLi Yun Xiao who was standing at the side and then said, "Yun Xiao, this trip will be led by you. During the trip to Luo Xing City, you have the right to arrange them. If anyone makes a riot, you are allowed to deal with them yourself. When you guys were at Luo Xing Academy, you still had the right to organize them. Lest anyone humiliate the clan name and create unnecessary chaos." 

"Understand me, Dad." 

BaiLi Yun Xiao had a dignified and graceful appearance. The clan members who were going to join Luo Xing Academy were unable to turn their eyes away from BaiLi Yun Xiao, including BaiLi Yun Hua himself. 

BaiLi Yun Xiao turned his gaze towards the eight people who were lined up and then his gaze met with BaiLi Yun Hua who was observing him. BaiLi Yun Hua immediately lowered his gaze. 

A woman standing to the left of BaiLi Yun Hua blushed in embarrassment. The woman thought that BaiLi Yun Xiao was staring at her and she subconsciously smiled at BaiLi Yun Xiao in a graceful and kind manner. 

Seeing the woman standing beside BaiLi Yun Hua smiling at him, BaiLi Yun Xiao smiled back politely and slightly nodded to the woman. The woman who received BaiLi Yun Xiao's smile increasingly blushed in embarrassment and her face was already flushed red, she immediately lowered her head in embarrassment and a feeling of happiness. 

The clan head who saw the brief interaction between his son and a woman, turned a blind eye to the incident and behaved as if he had seen nothing. This incident had already happened too often and the Clan Head could only sigh inwardly whenever he saw a similar incident. His son grew so perfectly that he always attracted bees and butterflies, unfortunately none of them could interest his son. 

The clan head explained some things that the eight people needed to pay attention to when he was at Luo Xing Academy and then disbanded them. The members of the BaiLi clan were about to leave today as well and the clan head ordered the eight people to pack their items. 

After the eight people left the hall, the clan head finally looked at BaiLi Yun Xiao with a complaining look. 

"Yun Xiao, you changed the list of people who will go to Luo Xing Academy and leave trouble for father. Don't you have something to say?" 

BaiLi Yun Xiao smiled and said, "Father can definitely deal with some of those outer branches, Yun Xiao need not feel worried and has nothing to say."

The clan head sighed and then looked at his son affectionately and said, "You must be careful. If something happens in Luo Xing Academy and you can't handle it, call me immediately."

BaiLi Yun Xiao, "Mn, Father don't worry too much. If something is out of my control, I'll ask Dad for help." 

The two fathers and sons exchanged words for a while before BaiLi Yun Xiao returned to his mountain to pack his things.  

BaiLi Yun Xiao brought a total of 20 Guang Ming Guards who were in the top few ranks with him and then headed towards the front gate. 

Eight people gathered. Everyone brought some subordinates, only BaiLi Yun Hua came alone. 

BaiLi Yun Xiao looked at BaiLi Yun Hua who was hanging a bundle of cloth on his shoulder and subconsciously his gaze was slightly shaken, but only for a moment. 

That group of people boarded the flying ship of the BaiLi clan. After everyone boarded, the flying ship immediately shot into the sky.

BaiLi Yun Hua's balance was somewhat shaky as the flying ship rose into the sky at a speed that was difficult to bear by him. When BaiLi Yun Hua thought he was going to fall, his arm was pulled by someone who prevented him from falling.

After BaiLi Yun Hua had stood up steadily, he finally realized that the hand pulling on his arm belonged to BaiLi Yun Xiao.

"Be careful."

After reminding BaiLi Yun Hua, BaiLi Yun Xiao retracted his hand and kept a little distance politely.

BaiLi Yun Hua slightly frowned and then thanked BaiLi Yun Xiao. After which, he lowered his head and did not let anyone else see his expression.

When BaiLi Yun Hua lowered her head, she saw some people falling to the floor painfully. Some bumped into each other unintentionally which caused others to also waver and fall. Only the 20 bodyguards of BaiLi Yun Xiao remained standing in their place steadfastly without the slightest bit of moving from their positions.

BaiLi Yun Xiao's bodyguards clearly had different levels of subordinates brought in by the seven clan members. BaiLi Yun Xiao's strength really made people unable to underestimate him.

If only he had people like that by his side...

BaiLi Yun Hua's gaze contained a hint of a complex feeling.

The previous lady who had a brief interaction with BaiLi Yun Xiao when in the hall, was envious of BaiLi Yun Hua. She was the main lady of the Mu Family who was famous for her beauty. As the main miss of the Mu Family, Mu Yin bore the responsibility of increasing the strength of her family. If she could have BaiLi Yun Xiao as her husband, then her family would receive a huge profit.

Mu Yin had previously stood not far from BaiLi Yun Xiao, but BaiLi Yun Xiao did not glance at him in the slightest as the flying ship shot up which caused it to fall badly on the floor. 

Seeing BaiLi Yun Hua's luck, Mu Yin felt her heart burn. Staring at BaiLi Yun Xiao with a pitiful expression, Mu Yin said, "Yun Xiao GeGe can you help me? My feet hurt."

BaiLi Yun Xiao looked at Mu Yin with a friendly expression and said, "Miss Mu, men and women should keep their distance."

Mu Yin's expression became stiff. In the end, it was the female servant nearby who helped her up. A few people on the ship looked at Mu Yin with contemptuous expressions.

Mu Yin's face turned red under the gazes of those around her. The actions of BaiLi Yun Xiao who rejected him subtly actually slapped his face before everyone else.

Without paying any heed to Mu Yin, BaiLi Yun Xiao stared at the surroundings and said, "Each branch of the clan can have five cabins. This is a message from the clan head. BaiLi Yun Lan and BaiLi Yun Yi can have six cabins."

Among the eight people, BaiLi Yun Hua, BaiLi Yun Lan, and BaiLi Yun Yi were members of the inner clan. The other five people including Mu Yin, were members of the outer branch clan.

Except for Mu Yin who was still feeling gloomy, the others accepted BaiLi Yun Xiao's arrangement unhindered at heart. BaiLi Yun Xiao's arrangements were already friendly enough for the members of the outer branch. Because if replaced by someone else, the members of the outer branch would not receive this kind of generous treatment.

BaiLi Yun Lan was the daughter of one of the somewhat influential elders in the BaiLi clan. He had a calm and humble attitude despite having a fairly high identity as he had always realized there was a higher standing than him and he also did not want to attract trouble for his father.

BaiLi Yun Yi was BaiLi Yun Xiao's male cousin. Just like BaiLi Yun Hua he had no parents since childhood, but his fate was better than BaiLi Yun Hua. BaiLi Yun Yi was raised under the protection of the clan head, and he had always respected BaiLi Yun Xiao as his elder brother so that he could be considered the Second Young Master of the BaiLi clan.

BaiLi Yun Lan and BaiLi Yun Yi each brought only 5 subordinates.

BaiLi Yun Xiao mentioned the members of the outer branch, BaiLi Yun Lan, and BaiLi Yun Yi, but did not mention BaiLi Yun Hua. The members of the outer branch from the beginning looked down on BaiLi Yun Hua so they naturally would not care about it.

BaiLi Yun Lan and BaiLi Yun Yi had no expression on their faces.

When he reached the third floor, each of the Guang Ming Guards occupied one cabin. BaiLi Yun Hua who saw the actions of the Guards of Guang Ming finally understood the division of everyone's cabin.

When BaiLi Yun Xiao climbed the stairs leading to the fourth floor, he did not hear any movement behind him. BaiLi Yun Xiao stopped his steps and looked back.

BaiLi Yun Hua had an unnatural expression on his face.

"Why stop?" baili Yun Xiao asked when he saw BaiLi Yun Hua still standing at the bottom of the stairs.

BaiLi Yun Xiao opened the room door and pulled BaiLi Yun Hua in with him.

Originally BaiLi Yun Hua thought there was only one bed and BaiLi Yun Xiao would let him sleep on the floor. But the reality is very different than he thought.

There were two rooms inside with only one separated by a wall with a large hole that no door was attached to, meaning they could both figure out what each one was doing.

BaiLi Yun Hua's heart sank instantly.

If the two of them stayed in this room, then BaiLi Yun Hua could know BaiLi Yun Xiao's activities, as well as BaiLi Yun Xiao's.
