The Legends: The Tale of Immortality
Chapter 43: The Destroyed Sword

As the dark blue light shot out from the sidelines of the blaze, the originally fierce blazing fire slowly calmed down and finally dimmed until it only left a thick smoke.

"Are you crazy?!"

An angry cry with a forcefully suppressed tone sounded from within the smoke. Not long after the exclamation exploded, a dark blue whip as thick as a tree trunk swept through the arena wildly like a mini tornado and dispelled the fog.

As soon as the thick smoke left over from the burning spread, the conditions of the people inside were finally exposed to the eyes of the spectators. A dark blue air with a hint of ice shards and electric sparks surrounded BaiLi Yun Hua like the tentacles of a ferocious beast from the demon abyss.

Some of the cloth on BaiLi Yun Hua's clothes had black traces and charred from the burning remains. The young man's appearance also became even messier with a hint of black stain on his skin. Currently the dark blue air tentacles revolved around the young man and some also surrounded the A class team members who were now switching positions onto the young man's back.

BaiLi Yun Hua gritted his teeth with a tight friction. Right now he just wanted to advance to his opponent's side and cut off the girl's cranium to see exactly what the girl's brain was about! As crazy and subtle as BaiLi Yun Hua was, it would never have occurred to him a decision that pulled him and his comrades in arms to die with the enemy, but that girl was actually capable of such an idiot!

BaiLi Yun Hua had often let his hands be stained with blood, yet he himself was actually afraid of death. The feeling of death that almost greeted him made his heart beat with bursts of anger and reluctance that further pushed his heart to a firmer beat until he felt like all of his blood was almost flowing to the brain.

He was afraid that death would pull him down into a bottomless abyss.

That fear had long been his guide since birth. The harsh living conditions made the already suffering BaiLi Yun Hua feel fear and uneasiness with the experience of death, the only dark experience she had never experienced. That was why he always tried to survive even when he had to swallow dried leaves and grass to satisfy his starving conditions.

He hated all the suffering he had suffered. He hated the pain running through his body, but he hated and feared more when it came to facing a death he had never experienced. This kind of mindset was what made BaiLi Yun Hua survive during his lifetime in the BaiLi clan.

Now the death threat that BaiLi Yun Hua had always feared almost pulled him into the gates of hell, so how could he not be angry?

Amidst the fear and strong emotions fluttering, BaiLi Yun Hua suddenly released a monstrous power that he had never felt before. The urge to survive unlocks the potential that has been deep asleep to protect himself and his team members.

Yes, even when his life was being threatened he still had time to think about the survival of his friends. At least this could possibly be included as one of the kindnesses he still has.

After the fire subsided, the panic that was stirring BaiLi Yun Hua's mind was slowly soothed. He could hear the rapid and irregular breathing and heartbeat of his team members.

They're still alive.

After a sense of relief passed, BaiLi Yun Hua finally realized the changes that had happened to his body. The incredible power was calming, yet tyrannical impressed now was swimming freely like a fish in a pond right inside his body.

This was not the foreign energy of the Li clan formation. It felt like this power was flowing directly from his body, as if this pure energy was a part of his own body.

BaiLi Yun Hua fell into a brief moment of contemplation before a glimmer of noise from outside pulled him away from his daydream. Once aware of the surrounding situation that was full of red flames, the anger that had calmed back erupted with even greater firepower.

Influenced by the endless emotions of anger, BaiLi Yun Hua involuntarily blasted out new power from his body.

"Are you crazy!" exclaimed the young man subconsciously despite not being able to clearly see the mastermind that caused all this chaos.

Once the smoke had disappeared, it was this scene that fell into thousands of pairs of eyes. The disheveled youth with strange powers managed to survive with his friends instead of being roasted into grilled meat.

Mo Lan's pair of eyes widened like bells in shock when she discovered that none of the A-class team members had been injured. His opponent still stood alive in front of him.

This reality left Mo Lan startled until she was unaware that she herself had already expressed her shock, "It's still fine...?"

Mo Lan's words further triggered BaiLi Yun Hua's burst of flames. The young man sneered and looked at his opponent with a look of disdain as if staring at an annoying creature.

"Yes, we're still alive with complete limbs."

Mo Lan regained her senses from her shock and stared intensely at the strength that was now being emitted by BaiLi Yun Hua. That power gave him an alien pressure that made his instincts ring danger.

BaiLi Yun Hua himself was not aware that he was currently emitting a terrifying aura that reached the spectator bench. Before anyone reacted, the young man dove into Mo Lan at lightning speed. The air tentacles surrounding BaiLi Yun Hua moved quickly around its owner.

As soon as he arrived before Mo Lan, the young man instantly sent out a fist carrying a slight flash of lightning. Mo Lan did not retreat, but held back her opponent's attack with one of her great swords.

When the fist and the sword body collided, the girl was instantly sent flying for several meters in tandem with the sound of an explosion that carried a flash of thunder.

"Bang!"

The arena floor around BaiLi Yun Hua had sharp chunks of ice growing. The air instantly dropped a few degrees after BaiLi Yun Hua's fist smashed into Mo Lan's sword. The moment the young man had already returned from the position of his horses, the spectators could see the fist that was lowered to the side of the young man's body was actually still emitting a small flash of lightning.

"Strade..."

Mo Lan who was flown several meters away now woke up with one leg kneeling and a sword was plugged into the arena. As soon as Mo Lan stood up and wanted to pull out her sword from the arena floor, the sound of iron cracks punched her consciousness.

"Shelves.crutches...!"

"!"

Mo Lan's great sword had cracks growing on that sword body and it widened further until the sword's body shattered into several pieces.

The entire arena fell silent with a momentarily freezing silence.

Mo Lan's eyes instantly widened in horror as soon as she saw the sword iron smashed into pieces on the floor. The increasingly light weight of the sword was transferred to the nerves of his brain and made his mind even more messy.

Crushed.

A frightening fact was forcefully inferred inside to the girl.

His sword was crushed by BaiLi Yun Hua's fist!
