The Legends: The Tale of Immortality
Chapter 60: Three Patients

Mu Xiang's sentence was uttered seriously without any complicated mix of emotions in it.

"We're giving up."

The sentence made the opposing team look at each other before pulling back all their strength.

After Mu Xiang's words fell, a transparent screen reappeared and automatically inaugurated the class A victory.

Wei Lan raised Yu Feng slowly. He flipped the young man who was lying unconscious on the floor carefully. A single touch on Yu Feng's shoulder was enough to make Wei Lan realize that the young man's bones were broken. Not only is it broken, but it may also have its joints slightly damaged.

Mu Xiang and the other youths came up to them to help Wei Lan move Yu Feng.

"Some of the bones may be broken or crushed, we need to be more careful when lifting them" Wei Lan said. This elf youth now no longer had the prideful smile he liked to play with. Wei Lan instructed her friends how it was safe to move Yu Feng without injuring the young man further than he already was.

After they disembarked from the arena, three strangers came to them. Wei Lan and her friends instantly recognized the emblem imprinted on the stranger's clothes. It was a complexion they often saw in the long robe of Yue Qing Ye, the emblem of the Yue clan.

Two people each brought their friend who was thrown out of the arena and another approached them with a friendly face, "We came to pick you up to meet your teacher. They've been waiting for you up there."

The Yue clan member wanted to take over Yu Feng from Wei Lan's embrace, but the young man immediately moved his hand to the side and brushed off the favor seriously, "Thank you, but there's no need. Yu Feng had some broken bones and could not be carelessly moved. I understand a little with medical skills, so just let me hold it for now."

The Yue clan member nodded and immediately led the group towards the teleportation formation that would lead them towards the VIP room where the group of Yue Qing Ye and BaiLi Yun Xiao were located.

After the formation was activated, Wei Lan could feel that the weight all over her body suddenly felt light and her gaze darkened for a moment, yet it only lasted for less than three seconds. When his senses returned to normal levels, Wei Lan realized that his surroundings had changed.

They were in a room like a private house that was quite luxurious. And in that place there were already quite a few people waiting for them including their two teachers.

BaiLi Yun Xiao directed Wei Lan to the room previously used on BaiLi Yun Hua to lay Yu Feng's body.

"Yu Feng had some parts of his bones broken, although I'm not sure how many were broken, but the number might not be small," wei Lan said to BaiLi Yun Xiao as she laid Yu Feng on the bed without making too loud a move that would probably injure the young man further.

The room only had one king-size bed, but even so it was impossible to put Yu Feng and the two others who were also injured on one bed. It would be too narrow for the three patients and would not be too comfortable for them to handle the condition.

BaiLi Yun Xiao looked back and called out Lian Yi's name, "Lian Yi."

Lian Yi nodded and took out two additional folding mattresses from her storage room before arranging them a certain distance on the floor.

BaiLi Yun Xiao nodded at a glance and thanked Lian Yi before asking the two Yue clan members to lay down the two remaining students in each of the extra mattresses.

"Wei Lan, I heard you understand a little about medicine right?" baili Yun Xiao asked without turning his head when he was focusing on cutting off Yu Feng's clothes.

"Yes, I understand a little" Wei Lan replied.

"Then please handle one of your friends huh while I take care of Yu Feng and Lian Yi will check the condition of one of them again. If you encounter a problem that you cannot solve, just ask Lian Yi or me," continued BaiLi Yun Xiao who allowed his gaze to Mu Xiang and his friend who were lodged in the door.

"You can wait outside. Don't swarm in the door like that and nobody comes in when we're not done yet," baili Yun Xiao said before moving his hand back to smash Yu Feng's clothes like he had done to BaiLi Yun Hua before.

Wei Lan heard BaiLi Yun Xiao's sentence and focused on observing one of her friends. He did not tear off his friend's clothes like his teacher did to Yu Feng, but neatly undressed the patient. Fortunately this guy was wearing a regular shirt.

The patient Wei Lan dealt with was a man so she didn't need to feel too awkward. In addition this person is slightly cleaner and has no torn or incision except for a few scratches and abrasions on his arms and legs.

Wei Lan stared seriously at the bruises on her friend's chest that had already spread widely with a rather creepy rinse. Pressing slightly on some of the bruised parts, Wei Lan's mind instantly formulated some medicinal ingredients that needed to be prescribed.

Two broken middle ribs...

*D*an dislocation in the left shoulder...

As soon as the conclusion was made, Wei Lan immediately took out some medicinal herbs that she had personally made while having some free time. Dislocation in the shoulder is not difficult to handle, which is more troublesome is a broken rib.

He learned quite a bit about healing techniques, but his skills were not yet fully mature compared to his alchemy techniques.

"Can you heal his ribs?"

A flat voice came from behind his back. Wei Lan did not turn around, she simply agreed to the person's question.

"Then finish the others first, I'll handle the ribs. For a while apply this on his chest," Lian Yi said as she threw a medicine bottle back without turning her head.

This was one of at least the longest and clearest sentences he had ever uttered to others outside of BaiLi Yun Xiao and the members of the Qing Yue Guards.

Wei Lan looked at the thing that was thrown at her and immediately recognized the medicine as soon as she opened the bottle cap. His gaze flashed slightly as he smelled the fragrance emanating from the ointment.

This medicine is great! From the smell, Wei Lan could classify the quality of the ointment given to her to a high-class level. In addition there were many ingredients inside this ointment that he was unfamiliar with.

Without delaying any longer, Wei Lan immediately applied the medicinal ointment to the chest of her friend who was severely bruised with a fairly thick amount of ointment. If the medicine was his, he would definitely feel his lungs hurt when he had to spend it in that amount, but since this thing was offered by others he did not hesitate to use it as much as possible. After all, they might soon ascend to the arena again today, it would be bad if his friends could not climb onto the arena.

Finished taking care of the bruises on the chest, Wei Lan meticulously began to deal with the remaining wounds. He injected his spiritual energy into his friend's shoulder to repair the dislocation in the shoulder bone. At the same time his spiritual energy circulated to some parts of his friend's body without looking around at the privacy of people for too long to search for hidden wounds that could not be recognized by the naked eye.

A few deep wounds seemed to be from the sword energy earlier...

After his spiritual power was pulled back, Wei Lan took out her liquid medicine and poured a certain portion into her friend's mouth.

"Wei Lan have you finished?"

BaiLi Yun Xiao's voice that had not been heard since the door closed again broke the silence in the room.

"Yes, there's a rib. I'm not very good at healing techniques" Wei Lan replied.

"Alright, leave the rest to Lian Yi. You can come out and thank you for your help, Wei Lan."

"It's okay, Master, I should've offered to help."
