To doctor Kevin's house
Abah and Ummi invite Mira and Mina to dinner together, meeting the invitation of the family doctor Kevin.
They had arrived in front of the doctor Kevin's house, Mira felt embarrassed when she saw a nice house, although not too big but very nice and luxurious.
"Mira's getting insecure with doctor Kevin's house, bah. Like Mira just came home not to come to dinner."
"We're already here, son, what they have is just a deposit. We've been invited to dinner here, so just go in." Mira saw ummi Dalilah who nodded, finally Mira also nodded and wanted to be invited in. Mina always held the hands of ummi, so Mira walked behind them with a sense of unworthiness because of the shame mixed with anxiety.
Abah at the front of the doorbell, the family of doctor Kevin who had been waiting immediately opened the door.
"Assalamu'alaikum" said Abah.
"Wa'alaikum salutations."
"Sorry for a long time."
"No wait long, just finished isya'. Come on in!"
"Sir Mira," said Kevanya.
"Hello Mina, I can take your sister, right?"
"By anyways, sister Mira will be your sister too." Mina replied smiling.
"Let's go in, don't talk outside. Let's go in Vanya!"
They're in, Mira is the same thing as doctor Kevin who just smiles and nods. They are both very embarrassed, especially doctor Kevin is very happy to be accepted Mira. While Mira herself felt insecure staring around inside the house of the very good doctor Kevin.
Tonight Mira wore a large quadrilateral hijab, she rarely wore a hijab especially when working in a hospital.
"How about Bah, with our son's wedding plans?" Ask Dr Kevin's parents. Mira immediately looked at her brother to pull him back until she felt ready.
"I leave everything to you, but the readiness is certainly from our two children." Abah this time understood the code of Mira.
"So Mira asked me the same papa."
"If according to Kevin is too short if next month pa, everything must be prepared first. So Kevin and Mira will decide again later, but if for next month it seems not pa." Doctor Kevin seems to know what Mira wants to talk about.
"I agree with Dr. Kevin, everything is not short to prepare for the event."
"If you want it that way it doesn't matter, but don't delay it too long. Because good things must be done immediately, is it true Abah?" Ask her while smiling.
"Of course, marriage is a very good thing because it brings two big families together." Abah replied while glancing at Mira.
"Take this mama as your own mama, son. Don't get nervous, we can be friends even if we're a long way away." Mama's doctor Kevin held Mira's hand.
"Yes." Yeah." Mira answered briefly.
"So Mira was nervous, her hands were cold." Mira laughed awkwardly as Vanya unpacked her nervousness.
"Don't be afraid of you, do you look creepy?" Ask her mom doctor Kevin.
"No, Mira was just embarrassed to meet new people how many times she met." They laughed at Mira's response.
After eating and chatting again until ten pm, Abah and her family came home because it was almost late. It's not good if it's too long before there's a bond.
Kevin was eager to take Mira to the hospital, but he could not just be like that because he was not married, especially in the boarding school in Mira at this time.
