CHAPTER 1: The Moanna Profession

As a doctor, most of his time was spent in the hospital. From morning to evening, or from evening to night, even from morning to morning the faithful medical personnel are in one place, the hospital.

That is what Moana Adrienne, a doctor who works in a hospital not far from her home, said.

With a white coat that is characteristic of a doctor, he took out a stethoscope from his pocket and examined a girl who was lying down.

"Is that dangerous, Doc?" Ask the mother.

"No. But does she have a hard time eating healthy food?" Ask Dr. Moanna later.

The woman nodded quickly."Yes, he is very difficult to eat vegetables and meat. She just wanted to eat noodles and pasta," explained the mother as she walked out of the room with the doctor.

Hearing the explanation from the patient's mother, the doctor stopped and crouched down to equalize his posture and the girl bangs.

"Why don't you eat vegetables and meat, hem?" Ask the doctor.

"It doesn't feel good. Not savory." Answer the girl with a pursed lip.

"Have you ever eaten it?" Ask the doctor again and he nods the girl.

The doctor glanced at the child's mother who was still standing behind her son. " Later you try again, it will be very tasty." Said the doctor.

"really?"

"really. Ask your mother" said the doctor, then stood up.

"Your child is iron deficient because he rarely eats vegetables and meat. So to replace the iron reserves in his spinal cord you should routinely give him vegetables and meat for the next six to twelve months." Show the doctor.

"But if from now on he will recover within a week," said the doctor looking back at the girl who was looking at him and the mother who was talking.

"You must not forget to take the medicine, sweet boy." Message the doctor while stroking the child's chin.

"Ready, Doc." said the girl with a hand that formed a salute.

"Don't make excuses if your mom's cooking soup for you, okay." Moanna said with a hand that formed ok.

"Thank you, doc. Excuse me." Pamit the mother then held her daughter's hand.

The doctor waved his hand as the child turned back to look at him. After the boy's departure, he walked back to his room.

"Doctor Moa!" Call someone.

The walking doctor stopped and turned to look at the figure who was calling him.

"What's wrong?" Ask.

"You're asked to leave the principal director's room." The answer.

"When?"

"If you're not busy, you're asked to come right away." Answer the nurse.

"All right, thanks." Moa's doctor said and walked to the hospital's main director's room.

Tock....

Tock....

Doctor Moanna knocked on the door and entered after a man's voice was heard telling her to enter.

"Doctor Moa, sit down." The chief director of the hospital was a man.

Moanna sat in front of the director. And asked what needs were so that he was called directly to the main director's room.

"Doctor Moa," Call the chief director to call Moanna's short name as the patients and medics used to greet her.

"This is my personal request, come to my apartment to check on my mother tonight." The main director's orders without further ado.

Moanna raised her eyebrows, "Aren't you living alone?" Moanna.

"really?" Search Moanna.

"If you don't believe me, I'll call my mama." Grit the man and immediately took the phone lying on the table.

"No, I'll come to check on your mother after the hospital." Moanna agreed to the man's request.

"OK, " replied Felix, the director of the hospital where Moanna worked. "Want a drink?" Felix gave Moanna a can of soda.

"No, thank you." refused Moanna. He turned on his phone to watch the clock. "Now I'm on a schedule to meet patients, excuse me." Moanna got up from her seat after saying goodbye to her superior.

He now walks into his room to wait for the arrival of a patient who already has an appointment with him.

The time was eleven o'clock in the morning and the door of his room was opened as he invited the knocking person inside.

"Moanna's late doctor." Say hello to a woman about 40 years old.

"Jiang, please sit." Said the Doctor.

The middle-aged mother then landed her body in the front seat of Moanna. He then began to complain about the complaints he had.

"Your blood sugar pressure is over 200mg/dL, ma'am. So you should cut down on sugary foods and be high in sugar." Clearly Moanna after reading the test results last week the middle-aged woman.

"But I really like sweet food" the woman complained with a sad face.

"For now replace sweet foods with vegetables or fruits that have a natural sweet taste." Moanna advises, "if not, you're likely to have diabetes or may even improve cancer, ma'am." Moanna.

"really? Is that as bad as a doctor?" The middle-aged woman was frightened.

"Sure mistress," Moanna confirmed. "But I don't want my mistress to suffer from this terrible disease, but as a doctor I really want my patients to be able to lead a healthy lifestyle." Moanna Papar.

"I'm getting goosebumps hearing your doctor's exposure" the middle-aged woman said. "Well, I'll try to cut down on eating sweet foods, even though I can't stop eating them. But I'll try, thank you doctor."

"Thank you, madam, hope your plan is consistent, "said Moanna and drove her patients to the door.

"See you later, doctor." Pamit that woman.

"Be careful on the road, ma'am." Moanna.

After the departure of her patient, Moanna then went to the canteen to fill her stomach which was time to receive lunch.

In the hospital cafeteria it turns out that there are already several colleagues as fellow medics gathered. They are Cira and Fio who are nurses while Leo and Rio are doctors. They were enjoying lunch at one table while telling the things they were going through.

"Moanna, come sit next to me!" Invite Cira while patting the chair next to him so that moanna is near him. With a smile that was like a flower that bloomed in the summer, Moanna was sitting in the place Cira intended for her.

"I'm going to Orlan next week." Rio said on the sidelines of his meal that looked not so appetizing.

"You joined our medical team as a volunteer at Orlan?" Fio asked with a look on his face that was so excited that it made the others feel strange for Fio's expression. "You went there too?" Moanna asked curiously.

Everyone now looked at Fio waiting for the woman's answer, "no" Fio replied with a face that had now changed from before. "I really want to go there." Further.

"Why?" Wonder Leo. "I don't want to go there and choose to stay." The man explained his objection to the decision of the director who also decided to leave for Orlan.

"Why don't you want to? Though as far as I know Orlan is not a bad place, even the scenery is very good there." Cira Exclamation

"You're right. That's my reason for wanting to come along," the envious lead Fio from the two handsome doctors was about to go to Orlan. Although to volunteer at that place but only after that there is a natural bonus that they will get there.

"What about you Moanna?" Ask Leo.

Moanna who had just listened to her friends was now looking at Leo, "I don't know where Orlan is, and I don't seem to be volunteering." He answered while putting a fry in his mouth.

"really? You don't know where Orlan is?" Rio said with a surprised look on his face as he looked at Moanna who shook her head after hearing Rio say.

"I hear Orlan is a place far from the city center.The extreme weather makes people reluctant to stop by the place, which is the place, though according to the website that I read the scenery there is beautiful and able to spoil the eyes." Rio explained their destination later as volunteers.

"Oh, really?" Moanna said in disbelief. " But I don't seem to go there." Moanna continued with a passionate feeling of not joining the people who now sit at a table with her as a volunteer.

"When I really want you both to come." Excited Cira who is also a volunteer member to Orlan.

The smile that originally emanated on the face of moanna and Fio slowly disappeared tatkla he remembered something. "What's wrong?" Leo asked who noticed the change in the face of the woman who worked as a doctor and nurse.

"Who do I have permission to go with you?" Asked Fio with a shy smile.

"The chief director." Cira replied with a piece of fries stuck to her mouth, "you just present yourself to her now." After that piece of potato was gone.

"Yes, Cira's right." Sahut Rio's. "Just tell yourself to the director." Rio continued as he got up from his seat and then took out a cell phone and a bottle of mineral water on the table. "I'm going first. It's time to check the patient's condition." His party hurriedly left his partner.

"Alright, I have to go too." Moanna left the cafeteria and her loyal colleagues ate their lunch.
