CHAPTER 14: Error Rei

Upon arrival at the hospital Alvin was immediately rushed to IGD to get follow-up action by an expert doctor. While Ettore left Rei in the car still asleep. He now reached into his pants pocket to call someone higher than Rei. "Hello.."

"Tumben once did you call me?" Said a man after the call was connected. "What's wrong?"

"Alvin's in IGD, Kenz." Ettore said without further ado.

Kenz, who was sitting relaxed while enjoying the view of the city of Viterbo, stood up, "What happened to him?" Ask the man .

Ettore was silent for a moment and opened his mouth again to answer Kenzo. "He was shot in the chest." Sluggishly.

Kenz held his temple, "Stupid! Why could? Then where's Rei?" Shake the man until it sounds like a bump of something so loud. Looks like the man has kicked the table to the upside.

Ettore. He was confused to explain how it happened. Because actually it wasn't a hundred percent of Rei's fault. His daydream stopped as Kenzo shouted at him from behind the phone. "It's hard to explain what happened on the phone, Kenz." Her speech.

An upset Kenzo leaves the place and goes to his room preparing to leave for Orlan following Alvin.

While Ettore let out a long sigh after he saw his call with Kenzo ending. He had expected that the man would come to Orlan soon when he found out that Alvin was in the hospital. Now the man with the mustache looked at Rei who had not yet come to his senses while pitying the child. "You don't know anything about this. But when you wake up, I don't know what's gonna happen to you." Ettore iba.

He only imagined what punishment Rei would receive from Kenzo for what befell Alvin. Or maybe he won't be in this world again after he arrives in Orlan.

Feeling that Alvin is now his responsibility, Ettore walks away leaving Rei in the parking lot to wait for news of Alvin's condition. After half an hour of sitting in front of the IGD, a doctor came out of the room and approached him. "Are you a family patient?" Ask the doctor using Orlan language.

Ettore who did not understand what the man said fell silent. He was confused what to answer because his language was not able to digest his brain. "I'm sorry, I'm not from here." Speak with English. "Can you repeat your words in English?" Further.

The doctor smiled, "If you are a patient's family, can you ask for your consent to take further action on him?" Obviously the doctor the man.

Ettore fell silent as he looked at the face of the man wearing the mask on his chin, "Do your best for him!" Ettore told Alvin to be safe as well as Rei who would be fine. Maybe he'll just receive a punishment like surviving in the Amazon jungle with nothing for a year, Ettore thought.

"Alright, if so sign this letter and we'll have the operation within two hours." The doctor took the form from a nurse who had just arrived.

Ettore took the pen and crossed out the piece of paper to form his signature line. "Please help." Said later. The two men went back into the IGD room leaving Ettore alone in the hospital hall. His vibrating phone made him now pick up the object to see the notification that appeared.

Two short messages from different people were received by him, with which he immediately read them.

Ettore immediately sent the location where the hospital where Alvin was located. No matter now or later, Kenzo will definitely arrive at Orlan to clear things up.

Another message came from his wife who was far away from him. He sent a picture showing their activities in Rome enjoying the holiday. Now Ettore is creating a new message aimed at Rei that he does not yet know is aware of and has not.

While at Leonardo da Vinci international airport, Kenzo was sitting waiting for his flight hours to Orlan which was still about fifteen minutes until the plane departed. The look on his face was always ordinary, even if he was seen at a more sinister glance Rei. But this time the man's face was scarier than anyone. The glare of his sharp eyes and the emotion that was bursting inside him made him reluctant to open his mouth.

Four hours passed Finally the operation has been successfully carried out and the bullet in Alvin's body was successfully removed intact. Ettore who has mossed due to continuously sitting in front of the Operating room is now standing when the lights change color indicating that the operation is complete.

"How's it?" Ask Ettore curious. "Is he okay?"

The doctor smiled and then said, "The bullet in his body has been removed. He'll be transferred to the recovery room soon." Clearly then left after patting the mustache man on the shoulder.

The ringing of the phone made him immediately lift the object to his earlobe. "You're aware it turns out," he said after a call with Rei connected.

The Japanese-Italy man who was surprised to fall asleep in the car suddenly called ettore as the man with the mustache ordered him through a short message—ie contact him when he realized. "Where's this? I don't know what happened until I was here." Rei said confusedly with the head that still felt the pain.

Ettore walked away from the door of the operating room and leaned against the wall, "Either Rei, I'm confused how to explain it to you." The answer was ambiguous to the point of confusing Rei himself. "I kept the keys to that car there. If you've improved, go to Ornansha's restaurant and see the cctv footage!" He then decides on the call.

Rei who had just regained consciousness was now staring straight ahead. Ettore's attitude that makes him have to guess makes his feelings sure that he has made a fatal mistake. Why does he not remember anything?

Time shows at one in the morning. It doesn't seem like a good time to find out what happened a few hours ago. But he was curious and chose to follow Ettore's advice. Rei got out of the car and moved his seat and started gasping towards the Ornansha restaurant.

The rush of rain is increasingly becoming when a car stops in front of a restaurant whose door is still open this jam when it is very unlikely there are people who will come to visit because everything must be sleeping on the bed. In unfavorable conditions, the tables are turned upside down, and, an untidy chair as well as a police line circling a puddle of dried up blood made Rei instantly speechless when he saw where the blood was flowing.

A table by the window. That's where he and Alvin sat a few hours ago. Why is there blood under the chair where Alvin is sitting. Was the man hurt? What cause? If it's true, why didn't Ettore tell me? And why don't I remember anything?

It felt like Rei was yelling for someone's explanation for what had happened. But it seems free. There was no one in the restaurant. Not even a cat.

Rei lowered his head to look at the dried up blood. His squeezing hand tried to grab the phone he was in to call someone. That man is not Kenzo.

"Tell me everything you know!" Rei tried to neutralize his voice.

"Have you seen the cctv footage?" Ask Ettore. Yes, the person Rei was contacting was that man. The man who was at the scene with her. Which of course saw all the events that happened to Alvin.

"Where's Alvin?" Rei chose to change the question because he believed Ettore would only continue telling him to look at the restaurant's cctv footage.

Ettore, who was waiting for Alvin at the hospital, looked at the man who had just undergone the surgery from behind the door. "He's just finished having surgery and will be fine" she replied. "Two bullets have been recovered from his body." He then explained what the doctor had told him.

Deg, Rei's eyes opened wide after hearing that Alvin had a gunshot wound. He could not believe that it was happening in front of him. The worry began to accompany him. He is convinced that Kenzo is currently on his way to Orlan to clear everything up, including himself.

"Stupid! You idiot! You idiot!" He shouted while slapping his own face. "How can you be off guard, Rei." Resenting. He then kicked several chairs and hit the table that was still available food that he ordered earlier.

"I'll find you!" Rei said with anger. He then searched the entire room of the restaurant to find the place of the cctv monitor and saw all the events. After wandering around, Rei found the place empty without anyone there to guard it. He immediately sat in the front seat of the computer and replayed the incident where Alvin was assaulted.

Brakk!

Rei kicked down the table when he fell asleep and seconds later Alvin was shot and the gunman disappeared along with panicked visitors running out to save himself. "Damn!"

Rei immediately picks up his cell phone and calls someone to help him find the mastermind behind Alvin's shooting before morning falls. "I'll get everything done before you come." Rei muttered and left the place.
