TMB CHAPTER 19 - World Heroes
"You know what?" Gretel felt a gigolo like Eggy was inappropriate to teach her about the meaning of life.
"Yes, I don't know anything. I'm just reminding you not to be rash" Eggy replied.
"Do you want your child to be as passionate as I am?"
Gretel squinted her eyes at hearing such an inappropriate thing. "I won't let anything like that happen to my son!"
"My mom used to say that, too, but the proof is that she left me. He killed himself because my father didn't love him and chose another woman, who was the victim? Of course I didn't ask to be born,"
"So, Miss. Don't sacrifice an innocent child for your selfishness!"
Eggy had never talked about anything like this to anyone but seeing Gretel somewhat resembled her mother so she was forced to tell her how she had felt all along.
And it seems a little touch the heart of Gretel, it is true not necessarily Hansel will return his love even if they have children later.
"What am I doing?" muttered Gretel while rubbing his face rough.
Gretel stood up because she wanted to go home, hoping that Hansel would pick her up. But, he's not willing to do that if Hansel just had to.
Without saying anything to Eggy, the girl just left. Luckily he was not drunk so he was still conscious and could drive himself.
On the other hand, Hansel was still in his office due to overtime. He and Boy did not have time to hold the phone because of the many reports that must be checked.
Reports are no problem but expenses and income still do not match. So, Hansel kept investigating it.
"My phone's battery is running out" said Boy, who had previously wanted to contact his mother so as not to wait for him to come home.
"Just use mine." Hansel gives her the phone but she sees a message from Gretel.
Out of curiosity Hansel opened it and his pupils instantly enlarged looking at the portrait of Gretel and Eggy.
"What's he doing?" Hansel snarled with his mouth tightly shut. He hurriedly followed his wife to the club that night.
Coincidentally Gretel also sent out her location as if she had intentionally asked him to follow.
"If Mr. Keenan finds out, we're done, boss," said Boy, worried. They are still on their way.
Once at the nightclub, Hansel searches for Gretel but does not find his wife. Instead he met Eggy and directly beat up the man. Hansel hit Eggy right in his jaw.
"Where, Gree! Say it!" his yell.
Eggy chuckled, she was still sitting on the floor and felt pain from Hansel's punch.
"Your wife was so lonely that she came to me, she looked desperate" Eggy said.
"Don't talk shit, tell me where my wife is!" Hansel's getting emotional.
"You think she's your wife? If so then go home and be a husband" Eggy replied.
Boy tried to hold Hansel back from making a scene. "Boss, looks like your wife did return to the penthouse. Security confirmed it."
"You go home, I'll go home by myself." Hansel tried to fix his suit and left the club that night.
On the way home, Hansel felt uneasy. He had already devised a sentence to scold Gretel.
However, the plan was just spoiled because he saw some dishes at the dining table that his wife had not finished.
"Gree.." call her as she walks to their room.
Apparently Gretel was asleep, the girl was still wearing her sex shirt. Slowly Hansel sat down beside the bed and looked at Gretel's sleeping face.
Gretel looked agitated so Hansel rubbed his wife's head.
"My husband..." Gretel was crying in her sleep. "Our son will definitely be the hero of the world so we have to make it as good as possible!"
