TMB CHAPTER 2 - Buying a Son-in-law

Hansel had expected that in the future it would be like this. There have been problems in his company's financial division in the past few months. The company engaged in the property sector suffered a loss that was not playful.

"Boss.." call the Boy who broke Hansel's daydream.

Hansel who had previously closed his eyes in his chair slowly opened his eyes.

"What's wrong? Don't ask me to talk first" Hansel said, unfriendly.

"But this is important, boss. Mr. Keenan of the Hoult Company would like to see you" Boy said, in support of Gretel. So, he'll help Gretel to get her heart.

Hansel frowned as he felt that there was no business with Keenan. Of course the man knew Keenan because they often met at parties or banquets of fellow business associates.

"Alright, set the schedule for the meeting" Hansel said later.

"No need to be arranged, boss. Mr. Keenan is waiting for you in the living room" Boy explained.

"What?" Hansel's not believing it. The man became curious about the intention of Keenan's arrival without an appointment first.

Hansel came to Keenan, who was quietly waiting for him in one of the rooms used to receive guests.

"Mr Hoult," call Hansel over there. "What brings you here? I was so surprised!"

Keenan squinted at Hansel who had dared to reject his daughter 16 times. He did not want to mince words and immediately revealed what his purpose was coming. Keenan explained that he was willing to inject funds and help Hansel's company get back on its feet.

And obviously that makes Hansel worried because behind it all, Keenan asked Hansel to marry Gretel in return.

The company is the legacy of the Hansel family so as much as possible Hansel must maintain the company no matter what.

"How's Hansel Meyer?" keenan asked impatiently.

Hansel let out a long sigh before replying. "All right, I'm ready."

No need to wait any longer, just a few days after Hansel accepted Keenan's offer, the wedding was held.

"My daughter is beautiful" Tessa comments - mommy Gretel.

Gretel wears a white wedding dress that is very luxurious because the dress was designed by a famous designer.

"Are you nervous?" ask Tessa.

"Not at all. I can't wait to be Hansel's wife" Gretel replied without a doubt.

Tessa can only rub the princess' cheek, hoping that Gretel's life will be happy after marrying the one Gretel loves. Tessa also hopes Hansel will quickly repay her daughter's heartfelt love.

"Ehem!" deheman's voice sounded. A man joined them because he wanted to protest.

"If you get married first and step over me, I can be far from a soul mate, Gree," protested Ethel who believed in the myth.

"People who believe in such a myth have no confidence, just say no woman wants to be with you" Gretel said.

"Just son, I can get any woman I want. Gini-gini I'm a candidate for president," said Ethel did not want to be humbled by his twin brother.

Tessa shook her head at the behavior of her two children.

"Already, already. You guys are always fighting" said Tessa who does not want her two children to fight for today alone.

As the ceremony was about to begin, Keenan came to pick up his daughter. The man is actually still heavy hearted to take off Gretel but want how else the girl is already married.

"Thanks, Daddy," said Gretel, hugging Keenan. She was grateful that the daddy was a rich man so Keenan could use the power of his money.

Somehow later her domestic life with Hansel, one thing that Gretel knows is that she never gives up. He could've gotten Hansel's love.

The wedding ceremony was also done smoothly. Hansel and Gretel kissed when they were husband and wife.

"There will be no rejection for the 17th time, my husband," Gretel told Hansel when their kiss came off.
