"I know what you've been doing to him all this time. Under the pretext of having raised him and financed his studies you have made him a dairy cow even since Kinara had not graduated from school. You even mortgaged his parents' house for your astonishment, and now, you even have him pay your debt of 100 million to a loan shark named Danu." Tama expressed clearly the bad things that the couple had done to the future mother continued her son.
Tama has been telling people to investigate Kinara's background, ever since her two sons wanted her to be their mother.
"Me-what's why? He doesn't mind" replied Susanto.
"He might not mind, but I do. I don't want you guys messing with Kinara's life again after we get married or.... " Tama paused his sentence.
"Or what?" challenge Susanto.
"Or I'll throw you in jail for extortion and fraud" Tama threatened with a stern look.
"Blackness? A scam? We never blackmailed or deceived Kinara. He himself willingly paid off our debts." Susanto is still strong that what he did was not wrong.
"Ohya? How do you explain to the police about the fake Kinara sign that you made a guarantee in order to mortgage his house? Because obviously without Kinara's signature you wouldn't be able to pawn it." As usual, Tama looks calm. Even though he was actually ready to pounce on his prey.
"How about Mr. Lawyer, they can be dragged into the case right?" Tama asked her lawyer.
"Of course Mr. Tama. We can even ask for compensation for all the property Kinara they have mortgaged," replied the lawyer who accompanied Tama, Hendrawan.
"Ohya, Mr. Lawyer. I can include the cases of exploitation of minors that they did too right?" Tama asked her lawyer again.
"What exploit?" Susantu and Reni started to panic.
"You don't forget that you told Kinara to work even when she was under 17 and you always asked for all her salary without leaving any for Kinara." Again. Tama's nagging gaze made om and aunt Kinara intimidated.
"Of course you can, sir. We can work with the child protection commission on this exploitation" Handrawan replied.
"What should we do so you don't report us to the police?" The frightened Reni chose not to fight anymore.
"It turns out you're a lot smarter than your husband" Park's circus.
"Ren, don't be afraid. He's just bluffing us" Susanto whispered. The 53-year-old is still not giving up.
"But, Mas. I'm afraid that we really should be in jail" Reni's great-grandson.
"Ren, he has no proof. So, where can he report us," Susanto argued.
"Mas, stop. We must not fight him. Free, at the end of the day we will definitely lose," Reni persuaded.
"Alright, it seems we can't fight the rich man" Susanto replied. "Now what should we do for you not to report us to the authorities?"
"Sir Hendra, have them read the letter of agreement I asked for yesterday and have them sign it!" Tama gave her orders.
Hendrawan took the letter requested by Tama from his briefcase and gave the letter to Reni and Susanto to read.
In the letter it is explained that they (Reni and Susanto) should not ask Kinara anything else, be it in the form of goods let alone money. And if they insist on doing so, they will both be in prison.
"So... once we sign this letter, we can't ask anything from our nephew?" ask Reni.
"Niece?" Tama thunches. "Since when have you considered Kinara a niece? Didn't you guys just think of him as your money machine?!"
Reni and Susanto bowed, both of whom could not deny this.
"But, you guys just calm down. I still have a little bit of mercy. So, you can take the money in the envelope and the rest I'll give you after me and Kinara get married."
"only this way? You want to marry Kinara by giving us this little money? Nah! We won't agree you're married!" Susanto refused again.
Tama shook her head. He did not expect, if om and aunt Kinara more greedy than he imagined.
"It doesn't matter if you refuse. But, don't blame me if you won't even get a dime once I've left it all to the police." Not to be defeated, Tama gave back her ancestry.
"Mas, already. Just accept. Than we got nothing." Reni whispers. "Part of the money in that envelope seems like a lot. He also promised to give money again after he married Nara."
"Stay still, Ren. It was too small for a rich man like him. He should have given us 1 billion or even 10 billion" Susanto replied in a whisper.
"But if we insist on refusing. He's gonna report us to the police and we're not gonna get anything, ma'am." Reni was scared.
"Hows it? Do you want to accept or reject this deal?" ask Tama again.
Reni tugged on her husband's sleeve to accept the deal.
