The Mother Connect
Chapter 35

"I'm not saying that I'm starting to love Kinara. But, no matter how we are married and live together under one roof, the chances of love are getting bigger. Moreover, there is a Javanese proverb that says witing tresno jalaran soko kulino which means love comes because it is used to it," replied Tama at length.

"But, even so I still will not let Kiara's position be replaced by someone else. Remember, you promised me. If you need to build a solid wall in your heart so that the woman can not squeeze into it!" tell the Goddess firmly.

This time Tama did not answer. He had built the wall since the beginning of his marriage to Kinara. However, he himself was aware of Kinara's kindness, and the woman's sincerity in loving her two children gradually began to destroy the wall.

"I heard that Taki and Maki are being treated here because of the provisions your wife made for them. If he really loved Taki and Maki, he wouldn't do that" Dewi said.

"Did Mirna report this to Mama?" guess Tama.

"I asked him, he just answered my question."

"It's true that Taki and Maki were treated here after eating the provisions made by Kinara, but I believe that he was not wrong. Kinara is a good woman, she would not have the heart to do such a heinous thing to them" Tama said.

The goddess smiled wryly. "Again, you defended that woman. Though already explained that the provision was the cause of my two grandchildren to go to the hospital. You changed Tama. Just look if Taki and Maki are doing anything else because of your new wife, I will never forgive you!" After saying that, the Goddess left from there.

Tama just let out a long sigh staring at the departure of her former in-laws.

Kinara who was standing behind the wall smiled hearing Tama defending her. Moments after the Goddess came out looking for Tama, the doctor came and told her that Taki and Maki had been allowed to go home. Kinara was deliberately looking for Tama to say that. However, as she arrives in the waiting room she hears Dewi continuing to blame her husband for the death of Tama's late first wife and also blames him for the incident that befell Taki and Maki.

Kinara was happy because Tama defended her in front of the Goddess. Kinara thought her husband would be quiet when the former-in-law blamed him for the incident with Taki and Maki.

"Get out! I know you're there!" tell Tama.

Kinara came out of her hiding place.

"When were you there?" ask Tama.

"Fun to be able to hear a little bit of the former-in-law's debate with the former daughter-in-law," Kinara replied.

"Doctors have allowed us to take Taki and Maki home today."

"Then pack up, before heading to the office I'll drive you home!" tell Tama.

Kinara nodded.

"Yes, get ready!" tell Tama again when she sees Kinara still standing in her place.

"Sir Tama," call Kinara.

"Hm."

"Thank you for believing in me and standing up for me in front of my former father-in-law" Kinara said with a smile.

A little bit wrong. "Ehm. You're not wrong, so I'm defending you."

"Again, thank you, sir" said Kinara.

Tama just nodded faintly as she cleared her throat.

Tama's eyes rounded when Kinara suddenly kissed her cheek.

"I'm getting ready first" Kinara said. With a little running the woman left Tama who was still sculpting.

Tama touched the cheek that Kinara had just kissed. That fleeting kiss turned out to be able to make his heart beat irregularly.

"No! It's wrong! I have to control my heart" Tama muttered.
