The Mother Connect
Chapter 39

"What are you doing? No shame in doing that in front of your kids?" ask the Goddess angrily.

Hurriedly Tama and Kinara woke up from her position.

"This is. This is not what you imagined. Mama don't misunderstand." Tama tried to give an explanation to her former father-in-law.

"Do you know what you're imagining?" The goddess stared cynically.

"Sorry, Aunt. What Mas Tama said is true. We are not .... "

"Don't interfere!" cut off the Goddess before Kinara finished her sentence. "You're just someone else here" he added.

Kinara fell silent, she chose not to answer again for fear of provoking the emotions of her late husband's wife.

"Tama, we're talking in your study!" Tama nodded.

"And you don't deserve to be their mother. A mother will not teach her children anything bad. And what you've been showing just now is a very embarrassing thing!" The goddess pushed Kinara's body and almost made the girl fall. Lucky Tama is more deft. He managed to hold Kinara's body. And of course the actions of Tama again provoke the emotions of the Goddess.

"You dare help her Tama!" sentak Goddess.

Tama chooses not to answer and calls Mirna. He did not want his two sons to see the Goddess furiously.

"Myrna!" call Tama to the nanny who actually wants her fired. "Mirna come quickly!"

Not long after the woman he called came.

"Yes, Sir. What's up?" ask Mirna.

"You're taking the kids out!"

"Okay, sir," replied Mirna. "Den Taki, Den Maki come on!" take Mirna.

"But, Pa..... "

"You guys go with Mirna first. There's something I need to talk to your grandmother about with my mom."

The two twin boys were actually reluctant to leave from there. Both of them were sad to see Kinara being scolded by them. However, because this was the command of the papa, the two did not dare to argue. Taki and Maki finally want to come with Mirna out.

"Ma... What Mama saw just now was an involuntary. So, Mama don't scold Nara for that." Tama started to open her voice.

The goddess turned her face away.

"And. I ask Mama please never yell at Nara let alone be rude to her!" pinta Tama with a sloppy tone as possible. "Ma, I pulled Kinara into my life. So, I'm not gonna let anyone else blame or hurt her."

"Why? You're starting to fall in love with her? You forgot Kiara died defending your son! Tama, until anytime mama will not be willing if the position Kiara replaced by another woman. Including him!" The goddess pointed at Kinara with her index finger.

Tama could only sigh. "Nara, out! This is my business with the Goddess' mother!" Tama also told Kinara to get out of the room.

Kinara nodded. She did not want to interfere too much with Tama's affairs with her former in-laws.

"I'm out, Mom, Auntie. Excuse me." Kinara breezed away.

"Until when?"

"Until when will Mama continue to blame me for Kiara's death?" Hearing that question the Goddess fell silent.

"Mama knows, it's not just Mama who's saddened over Kiara's death. But, me too, Ma. My heart is as broken as my mother's. In fact, it feels like I want to die and follow Kiara to the afterlife. But... Tama still remembered that there were still two little angels that Kiara left behind that Tama had to guard." Tama took a deep breath and then exhaled it.

"Don't you know if I ever wanted to try to end my life by crashing into a running train?"

Goddesses gasp. He looked at Tama as if he could not believe that a man as strong as his son-in-law had ever thought of ending his life.

Ja. When Kiara dies, Tama seems to lose her direction and purpose in life. And made him think about ending his life. He even nearly crashed his car into a train while crossing the tracks. But Kiara's last message asking her to continue to look after and make her twin sons happy echoed in her ears and made her stop the suicide attempt.

"Taki and Maki desperately want Kinara to be her mother. That's why I married Kinara" said Tama.

"But.. You're starting to love her, aren't you?"

Tama did not answer. He sighed again before finally making a sound. "Mama take it easy, I. will keep my promise to Mama," replied Tama. He then passed leaving the Goddess alone in the twin's room.

The goddess finally chose to leave her daughter-in-law's house. But before that, he took the time to meet the twins who turned out to be playing with Kinara in the back garden. The goddess paused the steps of approaching the twins and only watched them from the doorway.

Taki and Maki look so happy when playing with her stepmother. The two boys did not seem reluctant to indulge and sulk like their own mother. Likewise with Kinara, the woman also looks so fond of her granddaughter.

"Kiara... does mama wrong continue to blame Tama for your departure? Did you also wrongly forbid Tama to fall in love with her new wife?" mummy Goddess.

"Mrs Goddess," said Mirna from behind the Goddess.

The goddess turned around and looked at Mirna for a moment. After that he chose to pass from the woman who worked as a nanny to his granddaughter.

"Wait, Madam!" Mirna catches up with Dewi and walks parallel to the grandmothers of Taki and Maki.

"Madam, don't believe what you see. Lady Kinara just pretended to love the twins. He was not sincerely affectionate with the twins. Trust me, Madam." Mirna tried to incite the Goddess to continue hating Kinara

"It's none of your business. Just work well and remember, never dare you harm the grandchild again," replied the Goddess who actually gave a warning.

"Mrs me.... "

"I've heard it all." The goddess gave her sharp gaze to Mirna.

Yes, Dewi came after being told by Bik Sumi that the perpetrator who had harmed Taki and Maki was Mirna, not Kinara.

"Yes, Madam. I'm sorry and I promise I won't do anything bad to Taki and Maki again" Mirna said. "I honestly did that because I wanted to help Madam."

The forehead of the Goddess is wrinkled. "Help me? Mean you?"

"I know Madam does not like Mr. Tama to remarry and change the position of the late Madam's child with Mrs Kinara. So, I took the initiative to help Madam by slandering Lady Kinara to have her expelled by Mr. Tama." Mirna is forced to pretend to admit that everything she did was for the sake of the late Kiara.

"Don't interfere in my business and don't be pretentious. I don't like Tama getting married again, but that doesn't mean I hate her. You know, I hate more slanderers like you. Moreover, you can hurt my grandson!" The goddess stared cynically at Mirna. After that he actually left Tama's house.

Mirna's hands clenched firmly. He was really upset that he had not managed to influence the Goddess. And now she really felt alone and had no allies to work with to get Kinara kicked out of Tama's house.
