Episode 24

Arriving on the highway William waited for a taxi to pass, because the distance from the house and campus that he wanted to meet was quite far. He waited for a taxi to pass in front of him but no one came and decided to walk there, although the distance that must be taken is quite far but William feels excited because he can get experience when walking that distance. He passed through various shops and various places to eat, he saw a look around the store in front of him and the store sold bungan. When he saw one of the flowers on display in front of the terrace made him remember his mother, his mother was very fond of the flower and always took care of the flower the same as taking care of him. William's mother used to be sad because the flowers she cared for withered and eventually died, when she saw her sad mother she immediately asked her father to buy her new and the same flowers. His father agreed to William's idea and drove him to a nearby florist, where they bought some flowers and took them home. After arriving in front of their house his mother William still looked sad because the flowers withered, then William approached him and gave the same flowers to his mother.

“Nih mom.. I love flowers again for mom.. let mom not sad anymore.” he said.

“Eh.. this.. thank you yes.. child mother can aja.. so you just went with father to buy this flower..” ask.

“Iyaa.. oh yes I bought some of the same flowers for mom. so don't be sad anymore.” he said.

“Alright.. thank you yes.. are you hungry?” tanyakanya.

“Iyaa mother I am hungry.. I want to eat mother's cooking.” she said.

They went straight into the house and William's father placed some flowers while following them both, just as William's past used to be remembered for a flower. He intended to buy the flowers to give to his mother at the funeral later, but he decided first to go to the campus and see what the campus was like. He continued on his way and still the same as the various shops were close together, he stopped again in front of the restaurant. The restaurant sells seafood that uncle Willy likes, he is reminded of the first time he met uncle Willy. When he was a child and cared for by his uncle, William went to his uncle's workplace. He meets Willy's uncle there, he gives the seafood he just bought and wants to eat to Wiliam. He accepts it and loves the food, Willy's uncle gives William continuous food. He wanted to buy the food at the restaurant and wanted to give it to his uncle Willy, but because he has to go first and because if he wants to buy it now and bring it to campus his food will be cold and unpleasant. That's why he'll buy it later after coming home from college that he wants to see.

“But I have to buy how much. there must be Lia's sister as well. but Lia's sister does not like seafood.. if I only bought it for uncle Willy then sister Lia might want something too.” thought.

He continued his journey while thinking about what he would give to Lia if he were to go there, thinking about giving a chocolate to Lia but he was still thinking about something else. He kept the idea and better focus on his thoughts now, not so long he arrived in front of the campus he wanted to go to. Looks ordinary from the front and not so good but the reputation circulating about the campus is very good, then he went inside the campus gate and looked for where the announcement board is. He walked inside and seemed quite spacious campus area, the area is almost similar to the school before but looks ordinary times. While searching for the notice board William saw many people gathered in front of the board, since he thought that they were looking at the notice board for the freshmen eating himself also approached towards the board. When he was close to the board he saw that the announcement on the board was an announcement for students who had been studying there and not for new students, when he realized that his guess was one of the students approached him.

“What are you majoring in this campus?” tanyakanya.

“Ah sorry.. I haven't studied here. I just saw, I thought this was an announcement for new students.” he said.

“Oh you want to register here. I think you are a student here. then I will transfer where the registration is.” he said.

“Thank you brother..” said.

William immediately followed the student to the right place, when he got there the student pointed towards the place of registration. William saw many people who were there who were looking at him, he was surprised because many people wanted to study here, before heading towards the crowd he thanked the student. After that he walked into the crowd and saw what people were doing, they were all waiting for their turn for interviews and entrance tests. Because William came there unprepared and just decided to look first decided to stay away from the place and wanted to go around the campus first while looking around before he came home.

“There is..” said someone from behind him.

William was surprised and twisted his body, he saw a woman who looked like a student on the campus. Then he asked about the campus his captain, he answered all of William's questions clearly. Because William was curious why this campus was famous so he asked the student.

“Down.. I don't know either.. but people think that this campus is good for people with lower class who can not study in a rich place and also here can get free college scholarships as well and receive scholarships from anything.. that's it.” answered.

“Bgitu yaa... oh yes sis name who if you can know.” askanya.

“Oh yes I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Dea.. I was a sophomore year.. then what is your name?” tanyakanya.

“Kak Dea ya.. I'm William kak. greetings know..” he said.

“Then you so to enter this campus? Is there anything that bogs your mind about this place.” he asked.

“I think I'm going to enter this campus, brother. because my uncle also used to enter here and this campus is closed to my house.. earlier Mr. Dea also said that this campus gave and received a very good scholarship. because I have it I will use here.” he said.
