Before long the customers began to arrive, one by one the customers got their food and Melody helped her mother. While William ate his lunch, after that he helped his mother Melody serve the customers. It didn't take long and the customers began to disappear from the place, as usual he gave his meal money to Melody silently.
“Tante.. I go home first.”
“Oh yes heart boy.”
“Go home Melody.”
“Rest all.”
William was done with his business there, after which he walked home to his house. But while on the way he stopped first at a store and bought some drinking water, he drank first because he was tired of walking that far from campus to his home. He continued on his way to his house, having arrived at his house and rested.
He woke up at twelve and was ready to go to work, tired of William deciding to take a shower first. After taking a shower he saw that the clock was twelve o'clock and thirty minutes later, he just put on his shoes and walked out of the house. Because he did not want to be late he immediately ran but before that he locked the door of his house, because he ran he got there early and could prepare to be ready.
Arriving there he saw some clean workers outside the restaurant, William went through the back door because he did not want to disturb the workers there. He went through the back road with a heart because many boxes there were neatly arranged out of nowhere, after being careful he reached the back door and entered the kitchen. William got inside and saw many workers who were resting over lunch, there were some who were talking to each other.
William changed his clothes and went to his position, after which he waited for his break to be completed. But because it was still a long time he began to get bored with waiting, but there was not much he could do to wait for the time.
“Newly come?”
“Iya sis.”
“How was your lecture today?”
“Good good aja kak.”
“Today is still a race, right? You coming?”
“No brother.. I just saw.. Tired if you come.”
“Good then and work there.”
When the break was over and the workers returned to their respective places, Willy's uncle opened his restaurant and customers began to come inside. All worked back until the afternoon, when the afternoon orders began to decline. Not many people come there because the restaurant is not open until the night, only people who order a lot of food can be able to sit there until the restaurant is closed.
Suddenly someone came from behind and hugged William while he was resting for a moment while drinking water, he just turned to look at someone. It turns out that the one who hugged her was Nia's sister from Lia's sister, she came here because she was bored at home. They were happy to return because they had not met for a long time, but Lia immediately reprimanded him to return to work and meanwhile Lia told Nia to play upstairs first.
The clock has shown at seven o'clock and the customers have gone home, the restaurant can be closed and the workers began to clean. After that they went home including William as well, but Lia's sister prevented him and told him to go upstairs because there were still some things that he wanted to discuss with her.
“Sit's already sitting here.. Nia also sits here.”
“What's up, brother?”
“Many things we have to discuss.. Because Uncle Willy has got some new job candidates so we'll just talk about the others and uncle Willy handed them to me.. You help too.”
“Anything sis.. Nia want candy?”
“Mau.”
“Soal menu.. The rest I've taken care of anyway, I've seen your files.. Can it sell a lot?”
“.. If I see in the cafe Candy sold a lot of kak, my question is there are many young people in this area?”
“I see a lot.. But if they want to come here that we have to promotion.”.
Their discussion was quite long and Willy's uncle went upstairs to meet them, he sat down and discussed it with them. He knew many young people in the area and could have asked them for help if he wanted to, but he is still a bit hesitant with his new workers and wants to prepare a replacement if something is better. Uncle Willy wanted to ask William for an opinion for the new workers, he asked for a list of the new workers from uncle Willy and read it.
“How about Melody? I think he can work here and it's good for him too.”.
“Melody yes? Good also your suggestion.”
“How about uncle?”
“Nak Melody is smart too if uncle see.. But does he want?”
“Later I ask, then I bring the list home yes uncle.. Want me to read more at home.”
“Bring it.”
“Nia.. I go home first.. Brother Lia too.”
“Be careful brother William!!!”
William went downstairs to change his clothes and after he got out of the restaurant, he walked home to his house and as he passed by Melody he stopped for a while. But when there was no one in front of his house, he took his cell phone and sent a message to his friend. Melody immediately exited the house when she received a message from William and went straight to see him.
“What's William?”
“Oh it.. There's a new cafe at my place of work and it's done.. Just looking for workers, well you want not to work there if you need a job?”
“Eh? Really? I wanna.. But you have to ask permission first
to mom..”
“Go if you want.. Mom is okay.”
“Eh mother?”
“Night aunty.”
“Night nak William.. So there's a new place huh.”
“Iya aunt.. The cafe is open at the same time as the restaurant but closes at ten p.m., while the restaurant below remains closed at seven p.m.. So we're in need of a new worker to be in the cafe from morning till night, but we'll split the two groups.. We are looking for experts and I see Melody can work in the cafe.”
