The Passion of the Actor

The Passion of the Actor
Season 2 Chapter 36

During Sidney's time in London, Paris always spoiled her. Take a walk, have a romantic dinner at a fancy restaurant, watch a movie and of course be in bed.

Sidney will be lonely only when Paris is in college. If it had been like that, he would have slept or watched Net*flix until Paris came home.

The third day there, Paris had brought Sidney to his campus. Go around and introduce the girl to Sidney.

Many Paris college friends who come from Indonesia, until the event hang out when it connects and makes Sidney like being in Indonesia. His friends are kind, friendly and polite to him.

"The Parisians don't want to be invited anywhere, the party at a friend's house too until a new nervous war he wants to join. Turns out she's got a girlfriend as pretty as you are" Ben said.

Within their circle were five men and two women. Elin and Hana. Elin is Ben's girlfriend, and they also live together.

"You should go to college here, Sid. Staying alone with the girlfriend was indescribable" whispered Elin a little embarrassed.

Elin always invites Sidney to talk differently with Hana, who actually sticks next to Paris. But Sidney brushed aside all bad thoughts about them. He believed in Paris.

"Ris, papa wants to talk" said Hana thrust her phone in front of Paris who was talking to Tom.

Sidney was sitting next to Paris, but because Elin was taking her to their kitchen, to prepare a snack, Hana took her place.

Paris who seemed to roll her eyeballs received the phone. From afar Sidney observes the face and lips of Paris to read what they are currently discussing.

Shortly, Paris closed the call. "Tom, can you send Hana home? Bokap's asking him to be escorted now."

"I don't want to be with Tom. I want to be with you. Anyway, I asked you to take me home. You forgot your promise to papa?" whinek Hana spoiled.

Sidney and Elin come out of the kitchen with trays and small meals. "What's wrong?" sidney looked at Paris who was standing up, taking her coat.

"You wait here first, honey. I'm taking her home. Just a second. You talked to Elin first. Lin, I'm Sidney, yeah..."

Elin just nodded. Sidney's? He just silently looked at the departure of the two people. In the corner of his heart was hurt, but he tried to be patis, not wanting to think about it again.

"Here we sit here." Elin invited Sidney to sit a little away from the men who were chatting. "Udah, don't think about it. Paris is coming home."

"Lin, can I ask you something? Mmm, Hana's really close to Paris, huh?"

Elin quiet. Sidney could see his distress as well as his unwillingness to answer his question. But he needs an explanation, no, he needs information from people outside of himself and Paris.

"Lin, we're both women. You must understand how I feel right now, right?"

"I don't know, Sid. I'm afraid of wrong talking. But I understand how we feel right now. It's not easy to have a long distance relationship like this." Elin was silent for a moment, considering whether she had the capacity to talk, and what would the problem be?

Who would dare to face Paris? Even if Ben and all the friends in their community are advancing, Paris is no match either.

"Lin, I beg you. I promise you, I won't bring your name to this. I won't be angry at Paris either. If there really was another woman he liked, I would back off regularly, with no quarrels."

"Not, as far as I can see, Paris had no taste for Hana, but the opposite."

Sidney's eyeballs are rounded, his mouth that had wanted to open again clenched. He already feels about it. Anyone can see that, so there's no way Paris doesn't know that. Then the man still gave Hana a place and a chance to be close to. What does that guy really mean?

"Why Paris was so obedient just because asked to take Hana by her father directly ushered. The Paris I know is not like that. No one can tell him," Sidney's inner self is increasingly in a dilemma.

"That's the problem. Her father Hana works at the Embassy. At that time we all had a little problem to settle here, because Paris and others had a fuss with children who had names in this city. Papa Hana warrants Paris, and says it will not cause any more trouble, and pleads not to be expelled from campus. That time all she thought about was not wanting to disappoint her parents and you, Sid."

"So, this is all because of debt?"

"You could say so. That night Paris meets her father Hana, asking what she can do to repay master David. The man just asked to be nice and take care of Hana who happens to be our college friend."

Sidney now understands Paris' position. He regretted having had time to hold his doubts for the man. But all this is not allowed. Although it has helped, not immediately Hana can act as she pleases in the life of Paris.

An hour passed, Paris came. His face looked unfriendly, and so cold. "Sid, we're home."

That was all the man said once he opened the door and entered a few steps. Sidney and Elin looked at each other, then when Elin nodded Sidney got up and went home with Paris.

There is nothing that is not sound during the journey that only takes half an hour. Once at the apartment, Sidney changed her clothes to sleepwear and cleaned her face and teeth.

He was waiting in bed. Two days later he was there. If not immediately discussed, he will go home while carrying tightness in the chest and a thousand questions.

"Sleep first, honey. There's little I want to do."

"What's so important? I have something to talk to you about."

Paris turned her body around to Sidney, not so sitting in the study chair she had drawn earlier. "What's wrong?" dropped his body next to Sidney.

"I want us to talk a lot."

"Say..."

"First, the matter of going to college here, why did you say I was going to college here with your friends?"

"Why indeed? You're also going to college here, right?"

Sidney was silent for a moment. How he explained to the man, many things he had to consider in his life, not all of Paris was decisive.

Well, he really wanted to study here with Paris, really wanted to. But it can't be that easy.

First, he had to discuss with his father first. Not to mention, a matter of ability, he was not necessarily accepted at any campus in this city. He knows his ability. Third, not necessarily his father had a lot of money to finance himself to study abroad.

"Paris, there's something to discuss. I haven't spoken to papa. Besides, you're not sure you're here either."

"So you don't want to go to college here? If it's a matter of cost, let me pay for the scholarship I got. I also got money from working on the project entrusted to me. If it's not enough, I can talk to papa, he'll help."

"That's not the case, by doing so you're the same for no self-respect, and hurt your self-esteem as well."
