CHAPTER 13 RETURNS TO SEOUL
Eight months later.
Man Se in a hospital faces a struggle between life and death. She struggles to give birth to a baby, Min Hyuk's son. Not long after that, the sound of crying baby broke. Man Se was still helplessly weak, the moats of sweat soaked his face and body. The loss of pain turned into a great happiness because it had become a mother even though the father never knew about its existence.
Man Se lives in Ganghwa with Min Ji. They hitchhiked in Aunt Woo Jin's house. Their lives as immigrants were not easy. For 8 months they worked as a fishmonger in the market. At least they are lucky to be accommodating even if they have to be far from home.
"I want to go back to Seoul" Man Se said one afternoon in the living room. "Guide me back there. Even if you just see his face," continued Man Se.
"Are you crazy? Your soul could be threatened. Have pity on your baby" Min Ji replied.
"I saw in the online news that Min Hyuk is getting married in two days. At least I want to see it up close for the last time" Man Se asked.
Min Ji could say nothing more. Poor Man Se, let alone the fate of the Baby, Min Hyuk should know that Man Se is pregnant with his child.

Seo Woo loses track of Man Se who turns into a road, because it is blocked by people who are transporting glass.
Man Se arrived at a tavern. There he drank himself intoxicated. When he came out of the store he staggered with a bottle of soju. He tries to stay self-conscious, then walks into an unfinished office building. D amidst the hustle and bustle of Seoul, people only pay attention to Man Se's behavior that scatters incoherently, then does not care.
Man Se can take the elevator to the roof top with great difficulty. He staggered, then tried to climb up the barrier wall. The wind blows hard. Man Se cried so badly.
Man Se tried to stand up and limp. Under the building there are bright street lights. People are running. Man Se felt so lonely, alone, and empty.
Then, his body floated up. Fall off.
Satan whispers evil in the hearts of men like Hong Sung Hwa and Kang Min Jung. They're the ones who're like balls used by the devil's children's toys.
