An Old Tale: The Wolf Play

...Part 1's...

Diego and White Crossbow walk towards the village chief's house. "Are all the villagers evacuated" Diego asked.

"At this time they are hiding in their homes" he said. "Hidden isn't it better to go somewhere else" Diego asked.

"That's true but they always refuse and prefer to hide at home" the white-haired man said.

Diego had never dealt with werewolves so he had no information he could use against werewolves.

Diego exhaled softly 'no choice but to rely on their plan' he thought.

Arriving at the village chief's house he saw a lot of adventurers gathered.

Diego and the white crossbow entered the house. Upon entering the house he got many dislike gazes from other adventurers.

"Because it's late afternoon we don't have much time so our plan is to expel them as usual"

"Wait a minute how about what citizens they will be left to hide unattended" refuted Diego.

"We have protected them by driving away the werewolf gangs" the purple-armored man argued.

"Then I have a plan" Diego said. The reason why Diego can become a gold-ranked adventurer despite his young age is because he always has a plan and careful preparation.

Brother Soul always taught him to prepare everything carefully and must be able to think quickly when encountering a problem.

"How many Sword and Lancer are here" Diego asked.

"There are seven in total" said the Beastman Lizardman.

"Warrior and rider how many" asked Diego.

"Warrior there are four and rider there are two"

"How many Magus"

"Good there are nine men" the woman with the pointed hat said.

"Arow and Shield are how many" Diego asked.

"Arrow is fifteen and Shield is two"

"That means that including myself Arrow there are sixteen people" Diego nodded slowly.

Fighting with something that he never faced was a difficult thing plus he did not have any information about werewolves.

"Alright let's finish off that stray dog" Diego smiled faintly.

The sun was beginning to set completely. The green moon has risen in place of the sun but without the stars.

The moon is getting up everyone is ready in their respective positions. The green moon is rising right above your head.

A swarm of Werewolves emerged from behind the trees. The werewolves ran towards the village but dozens of arrows rained down on them.

Several werewolves were killed but the survivors roared loudly. It was as if he was furious that a friend had been killed.

Then four Lancer and three swords and two riders with lion mounts and horses advanced followed by two shiled and five Arrow men.

"The first plan, the Arrow will be divided into three teams, the first team will look for a high place and shoot those werewolves from afar , then the second team will be the support for Sword and Lancer and Shield to dispel all the werewolves that escaped from the sword and lancer"

A fierce fight began. Monsters also have magic symbols and skills each so the fight will be very difficult.

A werewolf manages to defeat two adventurers and immediately runs towards the village but waiting for them are four Warriors and a third Arrow team.

"Our second plan will let them escape the first team to split their four-man Warrior force and the third Arrow team enough to finish off the werewolves that were allowed to escape"

A werewolf shoots a fireball from its mouth. It wasn't enough for the werewolf to fire his poison ball.

Keep in mind if a monster eats another monster eat then he will get the monster skill eaten.

This werewolf must have eaten other monsters so he had diverse abilities.

A werewolf raising the body size of "aaauuuuk" a wave of wind sent the first few teams crashing to the ground, sending dust flying.

...Part 2's...

The werewolf re-enlarge his body howled "aaauuuuuuk" as if calling out to all the werewolves.

"We're ready to shoot the Hunter of Nightmare" exclaimed the White crossbow.

Diego raised his hand "ready! aim ! shoot" the first Arrow team directly shot the arrow containing the Magus magic spell.

"The third plan to deal with monsters with magic then Magus will be divided into several teams, team one will help the first Arrow team the second team contains Magus with healing abilities and the rest will join the fight"

It didn't take long for the battle to finally be won by the adventurers.

Somehow the atmosphere became quiet as usual. People who win something will surely shout joyfully but that is not the case now.

"We finally won" said the white crossbow. "It's true that this long mission has finally been completed as well" said one adventurer.

"Finally we can get our pay" said an adventurer.

Diego saw some villagers coming out of their homes. He jumped down from the roof of the house and landed smoothly.

Suddenly an object shot towards him he immediately jumped to the side to avoid.

Duaaaaar

Diego immediately searched for the culprit behind the attack. Suddenly the ground shook making a large wall appear from underground.

Instantly all the houses turned into mounds of bones.

Diego thoughtlessly ran straight to the gate, but the man with the purple armor came against him.

Unceasingly stale the man attacked Diego using his spear but the blue-haired young man jumped in the air while spinning and landed smoothly on the ground.

Five people jumped at him and hugged him so strongly that he fell.

Suddenly, five people crashed as far as two meters and hit the pile of skulls.

Diego immediately got up and looked at the adventurers and the villagers. "What really happened" he said, but he was again surprised by the residents and the adventurers slowly turned into werewolves.

Not until there werewolves also emerged from the graves of adventurers in this village.

He was surrounded by the werewolves. "Is this a real werewolf ability" Diego's house said.

Diego instantly activated his magic symbol an arrow appeared in his hand without a stale base he took his arrow and shot the arrow with his wind magic entered.

The arrow pierced through the head of a werewolf. Diego's eyes moved here and there. The werewolves who rose from the grave, the citizens and adventurers who turned into werewolves in total there were about seventy werewolves.

Now he has three hundred arrows. This should have been enough to finish off the werewolves but since Diego had never faced a werewolf before this remained a tough fight.

...Part 3's...

"Alright let's figure out how to defeat you" a circle of fire surrounded the blue-haired young man.

Diego took two arrows and then pitched the bow.

The flames surrounding him grew bigger.

Instantly his arrows turned into fire arrows. Without a second thought Diego directly shot two of his fiery arrows at the werewolf.

Aaauuuuk

A Werewolf howled as if giving orders to other werewolves to attack.

The werewolf horde advanced along seeing it Diego instantly added a hint of wind magic to the flames surrounding it.

The flames soared and blocked the werewolf from attacking him.

Diego hooked his bow on his back. He must save his magic energy.

Everyone has a different magic symbol with different capacities.

Diego pulled out a dagger from behind his jacket. The flames shrank, Diego jumped out.

Unceasingly stale directly ran towards a werewolf not far away from him.

He jumped and stabbed the head of a werewolf but it was unfortunate that the monster managed to stab his stomach even though he had been wearing iron armor.

Diego fell right on top of that werewolf. Some werewolves directly shot fireballs from his mouth.

The werewolf's head exploded as it was passed by Diego's dagger. But it was not until Diego controlled the dagger from a distance.

Making the dagger fly darting after the werewolves. Suddenly a werewolf ran towards the sight of it Diego directly controlling the dagger.

But when his dagger hit the werewolf's body. The dagger is the one that was destroyed.

Diego glared in disbelief as he ran straight towards the werewolf then jumped into the air and pulled out his dagger from his jacket.

He directly thrust the dagger on the werewolf's back but again his dagger was crushed.

Diego landed smoothly on the ground. He immediately took two daggers stored behind his jacket.

He can't be here too long. Seeing every werewolf here has various types of abilities while he is only an adventurer with the magic Arrow emblem. At the moment he has lost both in quality and quantity.

Running is the best option but of course he will not be born just like that. Brother Should once said "you are under the Arrow so don't think you can win without any preparation, if you survive a fight you must gain something to win another fight".

Diego immediately ran towards a werewolf he jumped about to slash his neck but the monster held back with both hands.

The blue-haired young man was not out of his mind he immediately kicked the werewolf's stomach making him bounce and land on the ground making dust fly in the air.

It was not until there that Diego directly jumped towards the werewolf and landed on his body.

Then he stabbed the werewolf in the face repeatedly until it was destroyed. Diego got up in both hands with a dagger full of black blood belonging to the werewolf.

The blue-haired youth did not stop he flowed wind magic all over his body making him able to move faster.

He slashed all the werewolves making his clothes filled with black blood. 

Diego stopped moving and jumped into the air "Fire ball" he shouted.

Four medium sized fireballs appeared in the air then shot towards the werewolf horde.

Diego landed smoothly 'my magic energy is running out I have to get out of here as soon as possible' the blue-haired young man immediately ran to find a way out.

But he was stopped by a small child.

...Part 4's...

Diego looked at the boy closely. The boy with a wide smile arrived from under his feet appeared dozens of tentacles.

The boy's body suddenly bloated like a balloon and tentacles emerged from his body and then an open eyelid showed his reptilian eyes.

"What other creature is this"

The werewolf swarm surrounded Diego. Without further ado he immediately threw his dagger towards the monster but the dagger immediately exploded.

Diego immediately took a bow on his back and put up an arrow and jumped into the air.

"All Death!!!"

The arrow disappears then Diego pulls his bowstring then releases it making several werewolf heads explode.

He returned his arrow strap back to arrive at his bow created an arrow made of water.

He shot the water arrow from his bow. The arrow made from water magic instantly exploded and turned into a droplet of water shaped arrows that rained down on the werewolf.

Diego landed smoothly on the ground. The water mixed with black blood belonging to the werewolf flowed from the wolf monster's body.

The blue eyes of the youth nicknamed Hunter of Nightmare were staring at the eyeball monster with those tentacles. Now the magic energy is gone.

"Batsy it's your turn now" Diego said. Batsy came out from behind Hoddie Diego and very quickly he grew up.

Ngiiiiiiiiii

Bathsy squealed her voice making the werewolves turn a deaf ear. Diego landed smoothly on the ground.

"Time for round two"

Diego directly shot the werewolves with his arrow. Bathsy has something like this werewolf that is the same as a monster.

Bathsy also gained strength while eating other monsters. But it was very bad for the werewolf because he and batsy were one.

Diego's strength is that of Bathsy and vice versa. So even though Diego ran out of magic energy as long as there were batsy with him he didn't have any problems.

Diego took three arrows and put them in his bow.

Not to forget he flowed all three of his elemental magic attributes in these three arrows.

Wind arrows, water arrows and fire arrows. He shoots the arrow at the monster but the monster withstands Diego's attack with its magic.

The monster immediately counterattacked Diego with a shot of light from his eyes.

Diego jumped to the side and ran towards the monster while shooting arrows and dodging every shot of the monster.

Bathsy flapped his wings repeatedly shooting out dozens of wind arrows. Unfortunately, Bathsy only matches wind magic. If only he matched both his water and fire magic element attributes, perhaps Diego would be more diligent in training the two magic elements.

The problem is that Diego doesn't know what kind of monster these creatures are.

Diego dodged every shot of this monster with ease. Bathsy whispered an instantaneous voice Diego sensed what was about to happen and anticipated it easily.

Not only magic but they also share the sense of sight. What batsy sees will be seen by Diego and vice versa.

Diego stopped running now the distance himself and the monster stroked for breath.

"Judgment Arrow"

The size of Diego's bow increased and a armor appeared on Diego's body. The armour that covers his body but does not cover his arms.

Diego pulled his bowstring. An arrow appeared in his bow and he released it.

The arrow shot out and destroyed everything he passed. On the other hand Bathsy also created a black arrow and shot the arrow at the monster.

The monster creates a very thick wall of soil to hold off the two arrows that Diego and batsy shot.

However, the wall was unable to hold the two arrows that came simultaneously.

Duaaaaaaaaar

Dust was flying in the air looking at it. Diego immediately ran away from the place followed by Bathsy who flew behind.

Diego hears batsy's call and stops running. Bathsy lands on the ground without Diego's stale base directly up the bat's back.

They also left the village. The moon slowly came down and the night began to end.

In the village, a tentacle appeared from the ground. Slowly the tentacles let out an eye and enlarged its body.

The one-eyed monster with its tentacles still survived Diego's attack.

Slowly the monsters turned back into small children with one eye then the werewolves sprawled on the ground turned again into humans, dozens of the skulls turned into residential residents.

The boy's eyes slowly split into two a sweet smile engraved on his face.

A few days later

Diego is currently on his way back to the adventurer guild while Bathsy as usual hides inside his hoddie.

"Hey blue-haired boy"

Diego stopped walking then turned around and found the red-haired man he had found near the river a few days ago.

"You're paying your debt" Diego asked casually.

"Yes" the man threw something at her. Diego caught the object and found a bag of bronze coins.

Diego smiled thinly at this man enough calculation he must be looking for what kind of potion he gave to him.

"So how'd you meet your dear friend's friend" Diego asked.

"Of course" replied the man.

"Then" asked Diego.

"I killed them" he replied casually.

"What" asked Diego.

"I killed them all" repeated the red-haired man.

"Where is justice that you hold to be the master of justice" asked Diego in surprise.

"It's normal that they do that to me. I'll forgive them but since they've done that over and over again to many adventurers I have to do justice" the man said.

Diego smiled lightly "It turns out you're not as bad as I thought the Blade of Justice"

"What do you mean Hunter of Nightmare" the red-haired man asked.

Diego ignored the man's question and turned around and walked away from the man.

"There's nothing just that your judgment has changed a little".
