An Old Story: The War In Tonren City

...Part 1's...

"Why should we wait for the late adventurer "grunts Diego. The journey had not yet begun but he was already irritated by the adventurers who had arrived late.

"Look out Hunter of Nightmare and this is a mission that requires many people" Blade of Justice said as he read a paper

"But still I don't accept" Diego argued. "How else do we have to wait for them" he gave the paper to Diego.

Diego accepted it and immediately read what was written on the paper. "So the city of Tonren is the largest city of magic stone miners" Diego kept reading the paper sheets containing information about the city of Tonren.

"That's not entirely true" the Blade of Justice said. "There is still a magic stone mine that is much larger than the city of Tonren just that the city has more advanced technology for mining" he added.

"Looks like you know a lot about Tonren" Diego glanced at the man. "True about her I met my party there" the Blade of Justice looked at the sky which was covered in some dark clouds.

Diego was silent for a moment "then what about your party" Diego asked.

"I killed them"

Diego decided not to ask her more details. He had no sympathy for this red-haired man because this man's actions were correct.

If his party was not immediately stopped then many adventurers would become their victims.

Diego saw a swarm of people in white clothes with white cloth wrapped around his head. "Dance Titan" a man from the mermaid tribe with his lower body resembling a fish and there is a bubble-shaped float on his waist and wear a white shirt with a cloth wrapped around his shoulders nya.

The mermaid came out from the group of people in white clothes that "Oh Physician Aqura what's wrong".

The woman fell silent then nodded "well let's marry the Aqura healer after I return home from this mission" she replied. "Well we will get married after you come home from the mission.eh wait that soon kah.kah we have to tell each family first" the face of the mermaid who met red.

"We just get married first and tell our family later.oh yeah I want to join a meeting with other adventurers" the woman took the ring of the mermaid physician and turned away with a trembling body.

"Ba..well good luck I'm waiting for you at this gate Glyshipone__I mean Dance Titan" the mermaid man turned around and left.

Diego looked on with a clueless look "that's quite an interesting spectacle huh" the Blade of Justice said.

"Indeed what makes such a love statement appealing" Diego fell silent as he tried to recall what love meant.

But the more he remembered the more memories of his family. He shakes slowly in his family there is no love.

"Why are their love statements interesting? because their love story had two happy endings" the man nicknamed Blade of Justice paused for a moment and took a slow breath "A happy ending where the woman comes home and they get married then live happily then a happy ending which ends unhappily where the mermaid man manages to express his love but the woman does not survive in his mission and finally the mermaid man lived alone" he said.

"I don't understand what you're talking about.Why are you explaining so convoluted.

"Do you think that love story should always end where a couple married and lived happily"

It is not clear that a love story will end happily if everyone is happy. This guy really has a mind that goes round and round. He should not have been with her.

The momentary silence between them "we've had this conversation, my brain is unable to understand your words" Ketus Diego.

"It doesn't matter if you're still a child" the man smiled cynically. Soon a group of people in white pants and red clothes and red armor on his chest was a deer emblem surrounded by fire.

The group was led by a white masked man who was none other than Zania the man who had invited Diego to join the party of fire deer.

"Let's see it turns out they're the ones we're waiting for I guess who this arrogant party is" the Blade of Justice grumbled.

"Just take it easy Blade of Justice and this is a mission that requires a lot of people" Diego reversed the man's words.

It was true that the Blade of Justice party said this indeed contained arrogant people. They are the ones who arrive late, but they act as if they are the leaders.

Diego can understand why the Blade of Justice doesn't like this party. After the meeting they began to move to the city of Tonren.

The blue-haired youth stared at the backs of the adventurers who walked together while chatting occasionally in jest.

He smiled once he was like that. Adventure with friends and chat occasionally throw jokes.

But he could no longer get it. Diego recalled how long he had been adventuring on his own.

The first and last party he entered was Boy's In Adventure. Indeed several times he joined a party to take a mission but it was only temporary after the mission was completed then he would be out of the party.

"Zania... I mean Spears Wood why are you here" The blue-haired young man immediately realized that he was left behind by people.

"Seeing yourself stop walking makes me wonder if anyone is bothering you" the white masked man asked.

"It's nothing" Diego walks past Zania following the group that's already ahead.

"Are you distracted by the crowd" Zania said, stopping Diego from walking. "I wasn't bothered at all" Diego said.

Zania walked up to Diego and stood beside him. "If I actually feel uncomfortable when close to many people" he said.

"Can I believe that, seeing yourself in the biggest party" Diego said. "It is good that we talk while walking because we are far behind" they also walk side by side following the group of adventurers who are far enough away.

"Actually I never like to be in a crowd but because I joined a party so inevitably I have to be close to the crowd" somehow Diego could feel a hatred implied in the white masked man's sentence. A very strong hatred.

After chatting for quite a long time they finally caught up with his other adventurer entourage and arrived at an adventurer camp.

They arrive at an adventurer camp set up by adventurers from another guild "Master Zania" two women running towards them. "Ronia, Carmila, what's wrong" the man in the white mask asked.

"Why did anyone leave us"

A series of questions rained down on Zania or Spears Wood. "Let's calm you two I was just chatting with Hunter of Nightmare like he had a lot of thoughts so I thought I could help" He saw that this man's eyes were glancing at him.

"Hey you don't bother Mr. Zania" said the woman from the Lizardman tribe.

"Stay away Mr. Zania understands" added one woman.

"Ronia, Carmila don't bother the Hunter of Nightmare no matter how much she is an adventurer on my level" Zania tried to commemorate her two subordinates.

"It's okay Mr. Zania I've become a silver-ranked adventurer with three stars" said the woman named Ronia proudly.

"That's amazing Carmila in a few days you've improved so quickly keep it up maybe you can become a gold-rank adventurer later" Zania said.

"Of course, I took on many missions to train myself to become stronger in order to be with you Mr. Zania" The woman hugged Zania's arm.

"Carmila what are you doing" the woman from the Beastman Lizardman tribe seemed to be in disbelief and hugged Zania's other arm.

There was an interesting attraction between the two women. Seeing this, Diego leaves them and goes around the adventurer camp looking for a good place to rest.

He saw a tree that was quite shady without a second thought Diego was resting under the tree.

Time is running fast now Diego is in the back row of adventurers along with some other adventurers.

Based on the decision of the meeting they will seize the city of Tonren in the morning just when the monsters are still asleep.

The adventurers ranked gold in divided into two groups. The first group will lead in front and the second group will stand guard in the back.

The sun began to rise and they arrived at the city of Tonren. There were many monsters standing guard outside ranging from goblins, Ogres and orcs and many more.

Some adventurers with the Arrow symbol instantly prepared arrows but too late an ogre shouted like it was waking up its friend.

The sleeping monsters began to wake up and the gates of Tonren city began to open displaying a myriad of monsters of various types.

"It's weird"

That was all he could say was seeing a different kind of monster could be in the same place.

Diego pulled out his storage bag. Diego pulled out a rolled cloth and spread it out on the ground.

The cloth wrapped Diego's dagger. He kept some daggers behind his jacket.

Then keep the rest in the storage bag. Diego pulled out a gauntlet that could shoot a hook in his left hand then took out his Arrow gauntlet in his right hand.

"All of them attack!!!!!"

When the aba aba sounded all the adventurers who were in the front row ran towards the city gate of Tonren.

Followed by adventurers who are in the middle and back rows. Diego directly poured his magic into the gauntlet and out a light from the gauntlet.

Diego immediately pulled his hook making the Ogre was dragged on the ground. As the monster approached he immediately stepped on the monster's body and shot right at the Ogre's head.

"Mr Zania let us help"

A man wearing a white mask stood in the middle of the battlefield. "Ronia Carmila focus on fighting each of you one command me on you..don't die" the two women silently nodded "Okay Mr. Zania".

A swarm of orcs dashed towards Zania "Rightly strange" Zania's body slowly flew into the air.

A wooden spear flew beside him "Skill second doubled" the wooden spear quickly split apart. "Forward" Zania swung her hand.

Dozens of wooden spears rained down on the monsters that were on the ground. Arriving from behind a Griffin was about to claw Zania's back but a spear blocked her hand.

Five spears shot towards the creature. Griffin did not have time to avoid making him an easy target for zania.

That's what should happen but it doesn't. Zania's spear broke when it touched Griffin's body.

Many adventurers ran backwards. The white gorilla monster took out a mace and a Warrior-type magic emblem appeared on its chest.

"Skill Ultimate Blade area"

Dozens of gigantic swords came out from the ground surrounding them forming a circle that locked the two of them together.

The sword in his hand disappeared and appeared dozens of swords from the ground. "I'll finish at full strength" the Blade of Justice walked over and grabbed the two swords stuck on the ground.

The Blade of Justice and the white gorilla monster instantly collided with weapons. A fierce fight immediately occurred the monster attacked repeatedly while the Blade of Justice continued to defend looking for an opportunity to attack.

The monster's mace shone brightly he immediately hit the Blade of Justice in a row but the red-haired man did not dodge but continued to resist the monster's attack until both feet were set on the ground.

The sword he was holding disappeared the white gorilla monster instantly swung its mace from the side.

The Blade of Justice installed a protector however it was not enough to protect itself against the white gorilla monster's attack.

The red-haired man was thrown quite far away and his skill disappeared.

On the other side with Diego.

The ongoing battles of monsters keep coming, making adventurers wonder how many monsters there are in the city.

Diego is currently dealing with an ogre bearing the sword. Ogre with a fiery red sword while fighting with the dagger he had prepared from far away.

The sound of a meeting between weapons sounded deafening. The monster kicking Diego's stomach made the blue-haired young man bounce quite far away.

The Ogre immediately ran and attacked Diego repeatedly. The black dagger she wore started to turn red.

Diego stopped dodging and let the ogre's sword stab him in the stomach. Without further ado Diego stabbed an explosive dagger in the ogre's shoulder and kicked the ogre down.

Duaaaaaaaaar

The sound of the explosion sounded very loud. "Batsy come out and check out the city" Diego said.

Bathsy comes out from behind Diego's jacket and disappears instantly. Diego immediately took out his storage bag and removed his Arrow gauntlet.

This weapon works well but requires a lot of mana to shoot arrows. He had to replace his weapons with more efficient ones.

Diego stuffed the Arrow's gauntlet into his bag of keeps behind his jacket. Then take out two explosive daggers from behind his jacket.

The blue-haired young man immediately ran over to the several goblins who were gnawing at a female adventurer. Diego finished them off quickly.

They land safely "Dance Titan I've brought someone who can help us" Zania approaches a woman Diego seems to have seen somewhere.

"It's good then that I'll return to my original form" Dance Titan walked away from Diego and Zania.

He took out a bottle of water and drank it to the end and threw it in any place.

Instantly his body grew "so this is a giant tribe" Diego's house saw how tall the woman was.

"Now what's your plan Zania" Diego looked at the masked man. "We're going to destroy that wall to see the source of this weirdness" Diego was silent for a moment indeed a lot of weirdness in this mission.

Starting from how this city can be captured by monsters then. How can monsters of different types be in the same place.

Dance Titan ran and jumped then threw the monster towards the fortress. But it turns out that there is a barrier magic that protects the city walls.

Diego instantly unleashed his arrow as well as Zania who threw her spear.
