City People

"Diego you're an adventurer right" the girl offset the blue-haired young man's path. "It is like that" the young man answered sufficiently.

"Well, what was your adventure like" he asked again. "I mean" the blue-haired young man asked back.

"I mean adventurers always have interesting stories for the story, you must have a story or two right" Diego frowned trying to remember events that might be told

"I don't know if I have an interesting story like any other adventurer" Diego isn't one who likes to remember the past.

He only lives today and for tomorrow.

"Let's Diego you're not senile" asked Karand to confirm. "Hm how about the story of my first adventure" he hasn't finished his sentence.

Karand ran "save your story, Diego, I saw a horned rabbit".

Diego won't follow the girl. Horned rabbits are not ordinary rabbits, they are more agile and stronger.

"Diego use your arrow to shoot the rabbit" cried Karand as he chased after the rabbit. "Relax you won't get a rabbit, if it's like that" Diego picked up a knife in the back of his jacket.

The girl stopped and turned around "Then how adventurous master" led karand who did not accept with Diego's words.

"Simple enough anyway" Diego threw the knife at the horned rabbit but darted to make the rabbit jump high.

"That's great, adventurer sir" ledek karand. Diego threw the knife and this time hit the rabbit's head.

"Thank you, the compliment" Diego replied, leaving Karand a thousand words silent.

"I'll cook let's have some food" Karand ran straight for the rabbit.

Diego watched the girl cook. Karand looks very good at cooking and he must admit that his smell alone has made worms in his stomach protesting to be fed.

After eating they rested for a while but Karand fell asleep making Diego forced to hold the girl.

There was no choice but to continue the journey given the many dangers at night.

Without feeling the sun has risen again. "Where am I" said Karand weakly.

"In a moment we will arrive in the city of the people" Diego replied briefly. "As soon as" Karand rested his head on Diego's shoulder.

"Aren't you going down yet" asked Diego. "You didn't tell me to go down" Karand replied, ending with a long yawn.

Diego stops and drops Karand. "Why stop" asked Karand again. "We have reached the gates of the city of the people" Diego pointed to a large gate in front of him.

"Oh yes where are you going" asked Karand who was standing alone.

"I'd like to go to the guild right now if you did" Diego asked.

"I want to go to school and maybe tomorrow or the day after the test but my priority is to find lodging and continue my sleep" Karand smiled.

"Alright then we part here" Diego nodded and walked away.

"Thank you for your help" the girl shouted.

Currently Diego was walking towards the Adventurers Guild of the city of Kaum.

Once upon a time this city was a former battlefield between demon clans against all other clans.

When the war is over and defeat in the can of the demon clan. For the joint decision of the fighters at the time of the birth of the peace movement and for the Federation of peace

The peace federation decided to build the city on this former battlefield as a symbol of peace.

Diego walks to the reception desk to report the mission results.

Diego nodded then took out a pouch containing goblin fingers and a pouch containing herbs that he picked up in the black forest.

"Diego give me your guild card" said the receptionist. Diego also gave the card and then put it on a special board.

Slowly the card changed color to silver. Then the receptionist paid Diego.

"This is your payment and congratulations on becoming a silver rank adventurer" said the receptionist. "Thank you for the help" Diego said, then resigned.

The next goal is to go home. On the way he meets a beastman woman. 

The dark purple haired lady with the mature brown skin with dog ears was sitting crying by the roadside.

Diego decided to approach her because he could not bear to hear the girl's cry.

"Hey miss beastman your crying is bothering me" Diego said approaching the beastman girl.

The beastman's cry was breaking. Diego ducked to keep them the same height. "Hiks.hikss...aku..just cheated people" he said while sobbing.

"He said that if I gave up my money, I would get school supplies and go straight to the dormitory" he cried bitterly.

"When I went to the hostel my name was not registered" she shouted again. Diego took the money he got from his completed quest.

"Here I have a little money to make a report to the knights to catch the man who cheated you" Diego gave all his money.

"Don't cry, crying on won't make your money back" Diego got up and walked away.

He walked away leaving the beastman girl who was still confused, now his one goal was to go home.

His house is located on the edge of the market. This house that looks more like an old hut is a place that bears silent witness to everything that happens to it.
