Ruella was cleaning herself in the bathroom and was planning to go to sleep. Even the woman was already wearing black lingerie to tease her husband.
She heard someone open the door to her room and guessed that the man was her husband—Donzello. Immediately she came out of the toilet after what she said received no response.
His words stopped because it turned out that his assumption was wrong, the person who had just entered was not Donzello but the father of the child in his birth—Savero.
The man who entered her room saw her because Ruella's question made Savero aware of something.
He completely forgot to knock on the door and just walked in. Previously he had never done it because of the condition of Ruella who was lying in bed because she was weak. No, he thought she looked much better now.
"I'm sorry, I think you're still lying in bed because you're still not fully recovered." Savero was a little embarrassed.
Ruella clucked in annoyance at seeing the man. Honestly, he really did not want Savero to continue to meet him, what else until he entered his room.
"There's something I want to ask you." Said Savero who was aware of Ruella's annoyance.
"What's? What matters? Otherwise I won't answer." Ruella exclaimed with a lazy look at Savero.
"Tomorrow me and Flavia plan to Puglia. We want to go to the orphanage where Matteo came from."
Ruella snorted with a slanted smile hearing Savero's words. He did not expect that the two people would eventually be affected by his words yesterday. Although he honestly did not want to bother about it anymore, but there was a sense of pleasure that he felt.
"What's the deal with me then? I'm not asking anyone to believe what I'm saying." Ruella said by folding her arms in front of her chest and standing resting on her left leg as was her custom.
"Tell me who that woman is. The woman you said was Matteo's lover and partner when he wanted to kill you." Pinta Savero's. "We want to meet him and find out about the truth."
"You think it'll be easy? Is that woman going to see you?" Ruella's laughter scoffed. "You won't find him in that orphanage either."
"What does that mean? Is he not there?"
Ruella laughed at Savero's question. A question he considered himself was a stupid question.
"When you try to kill a child led by the mafia but fail, are you going to stay in your house?" Ruella asked with a skeptical look.
Savero did not answer because what Ruella said was true. Anyone will disappear immediately if the plan to finish off the child of the mafia leader fails.
Ruella turned towards the wooden bupet that was behind her and opened one of her drawers. Then he took a large envelope from inside.
"This is the old face of the woman. Her name is Carla Retegui." Ruella thrust the envelope at Savero.
Soon the man took the photo inside. A picture of a woman he did not know.
"You mean, this woman changed her identity?" Savero asked back to look at Ruella who was standing in my teaching not up to two meters away from him.
"Not only that. Besides identity, the woman also changed her face." Answer Ruella.
"How did you know? Do you know where this woman is right now?" Ask Savero. "Tell me where is she?!"
"When I tell you you won't believe it either." Answer Ruella.
"Come out, I don't intend to tell you who that woman is." Said Ruella with a smile like a mock. "Ah, I don't think you need to go to Puglia either because it will only make your trip pointless."
Savero became annoyed at Ruella's words. He felt himself being played by the woman. Soon he approached the woman to say something that upset her.
"What do you really want? After you said so much about Matteo's death now you don't even seem to want us to know the truth." Savero said his right hand pulled Ruella's nape so their eyes stared at each other.
Ruella looked at the man with a look of disdain. Although Savero's current gaze looked angry at the man but Ruella did not feel afraid.
"From the beginning I said, I didn't ask you to believe my words. What I wanted to say I told you, about everything else I don't care." Ruella replied with a skeptical smile. "I don't get anything if I tell you who that woman is. Now it's all your business."
Savero thought about what Ruella said and he became aware that from the beginning the woman had only wanted to play tricks on him.
In a fit of annoyance Savero let go of Ruella and directly walked out of the room.
Looking at Savero who became very upset at her, Ruella laughed as the man walked out of her room. He feels very satisfied at the moment.
"You shouldn't have said bad things about me. And you shouldn't have entered this room without knocking on the door either." Mummer Ruella. "You should thank me for trying to get you accepted by the woman you love."
Soon Ruella takes her phone to contact Fazio, one of her guards. Something he wanted to ask right now about someone.
"Faz, has the woman also returned to Milan?" Ruella asked Fazio on the phone.
"Yes, he came back this afternoon. What's wrong, madam? Is there anything we should do?" Ask Fazio.
"No, I'll make him come see me by himself." Ruella answered after hanging up.
The next day, Ruella sat at the dinner table together with Donzello and Savero. The three of them enjoyed their breakfast.
"What time are you going to Puglia, Sav?" Ask Donzello.
Savero raised his head looking at his father and after that turned to look at Ruella who was sitting opposite him. Upon hearing Ruella's words, the man cancelled his plans to go to Apulia with Flavia.
"It turns out Flavia couldn't leave his shop. So we canceled it." Answer Savero.
"That's a pity. Then when are you guys going? You just need to find the right time." Donzello gave me a suggestion.
"Yes, we'll find the right day next." Savero.
"Sav, invite Flavia to dinner with us tonight." Ruella Exclamation. "You can also spend the night together afterwards. No need to go on holiday to Puglia. Don't you think, Don?"
"Yes, that's a good idea. Later tonight take Flavia to dinner with us." Donzello.
"Oh yeah Don, how about you invite Sofia, too?" Look at Ruella on her husband. "I'm always jealous whenever he accompanies you anywhere you work. That's why I wanted to know him better so that I wouldn't suspect him anymore. Hows it? Are you having no problem inviting him to dinner with us too?"
