053. A HUG

Savero immediately took Flavia to the guest room on the first floor as soon as the woman was shocked and lost consciousness.

Everyone at the dinner table still looks tense, especially the woman named Sofia Gollini aka Carla Retegui. The woman already looked so resigned to her condition.

"Madam, I beg you to forgive me all my mistakes. Sir, I've wanted to live a normal life working for you all this time. That's why I'm sorry. Let me live a normal life." Sofia cried with a face that had been filled with tears because of her fear.

"Listen, Carla, I told you I'd forgive you if you admitted all that. But I need you to do something for me." Ruella.

"Whatever I'll do for you madam as long as I can be free from Hugo De Sica." Sofia cried out in full pleading. "He would have killed me for fear of opening my mouth if he paid me to kill the madam first."

"Yes, you're right. Hugo will definitely kill you right away because he's afraid Sacra Unita will finish off Foggianna for breaking the agreement with La Nostra." Ruella exclaimed with a smile. "Therefore I need you to confess everything to Sacra Unita and in front of my papa."

Donzello stared at his wife for not thinking that the woman he married wanted to make Foggianna perish because of her resentment for the son of the mob leader. The man who did something bad to her.

"I will give you freedom when Foggianna is destroyed and a human named Hugo De Sica dies." Ruella continued with a hateful look.

Savero accompanies the unconscious Flavia in the room. The man was still thinking about all the things that had actually happened. It turned out that everything Ruella said was the truth. It made her feel guilty for thinking such a bad thing to Ruella.

Ever since he found out that the person who hit Matteo was Ruella, his hatred had arisen until he always found out about the woman. He wants to give her revenge someday. He feels what happened to his best friend is unfair just because the woman who hit him is the son of a feared mob leader in Italy.

It was also what made Savero do bad things to Ruella by making love to the woman when she was drunk. He deliberately did so that when the woman was pregnant, she would become miserable. But what happened was that everything turned around to him.

Ruella is married and pregnant with her child and the truth about who Matteo really is, it made Savero feel that he should not have done anything bad to her because Ruella was innocent by nature.

"Sav..." Said Flavia who opened his eyes.

"You're sober? How are you doing? Is it okay?" Savero asked with a flat gaze as the uncomfortable feeling regarding his guilt towards Ruella aloofed him.

"You believe him? Did Matteo not like me in the first place? Is he just playing me?" Flavia asked with flowing tears. "I don't want to believe it even if it's true. I'd rather he keep lying to me."

"No! He doesn't deserve the love of a woman like you." Savero answered with a visibly upset face. "Why did you say that? If it's the truth then a man should seem to deserve a grievous death like he's been through."

Hearing Savero's words made Flavia weep even more. The love for Matteo was so great that the man had not died in years. Flavia's sincere feelings made it very painful to know that the man she had always loved was just playing tricks on her and not being completely sincere with his feelings.

Ruella went into the room where Savero and Flavia were. The woman walked up to the bed and stared at Flavia who was only speechless with her arrival.

"From the beginning I didn't ask you to believe what I said. I'm not looking for that woman to prove that I'm not entirely guilty of bumping into your lover. My goal from the beginning was just to destroy my enemy. But seeing you two fools makes me feel sorry." Ruella exclaimed by leaning her lips with her trademark body gesture. "I also don't care how you think of me after this. But my advice, you better get married soon."

After saying this Ruella walked out leaving him the one who didn't say anything to her

"Fla, take a break." Savero then got out of the chair and rushed out of the room.

Ruella turned around and looked at Savero who was holding her shoulder. His face was immediately visibly upset that the man was approaching him but before he said anything, Savero grabbed his arm and pulled him into a corner of the room.

"What are you doing?" Ruella exclaimed pulling her arm from Savero's grasp as they had already stopped at a corner of the place yet the man was still holding her arm.

Ruella gets increasingly upset with Savero for pulling herself to follow him. I don't know what the man wanted to say to her but to Ruella, it must be something as unimportant as ever.

"What's wrong? Quickly say what you want to say, I don't have time to serve you. And I think you should keep the woman you love me."

"I'm sorry..." Savero said with a sincere look oada Ruella.

"I'm sorry? What's for?" Ruella asked twitching her forehead.

"For all the bad things that I did and that I told you." Savero replied with a bad feeling.

"Which one?" Look Ruella. "And why are you apologizing to me? Will there be anything different after you apologize to me or after I apologize to you?"

Savero became speechless at Ruella's ever-similar words, revealing her arrogance. And because of his attitude it also makes anyone assume that Ruella is a woman who always behaves as she pleases.

Ruella sighed with a wry face shown to Savero. The woman wants to get out of there.

"Well, there's nothing you say anymore, I'm leaving. And remember Sav, you don't have to see me anymore or feel guilty about anything. I just want you not to assume that you are the father of the child I bear. Just live your life and I'll live my life with your father." Bright Ruella. "I think after this Flavia will marry you. You can get married and you better move abroad after marriage or you can go back to London. Most importantly I don't want to live with you either. Do you understand?"

Ruella looked at Savero, waiting for the man's answer. He had said what he wanted Savero to follow. The woman only wanted to live peacefully together with Donzello after this. After the destruction of Hugo De Sica.
