Rain spots, cold air and quiet streets do not melt Mas Adi's desire to meet Sinta. The case of the disappearance of comfort women in the lok*lis*si area is the biggest priority in her task area now. Pieces of clues one by one began to appear making curiosity as well as the spirit in Mas Adi's heart increasingly blazing.
Mas Adi pulled his gas motor inside. I don't know how fast the motorbike he is driving now, the wind felt strong hit his thick waterproof jacket. Occasionally lightning flashed at the dark black end of the sky.
Wiiuuuwww Wiiuwwww Wiiuu
The sound of sirens warning the railroad crossing door will be closed. Mas Adi slowed down the speed of the motor. Mas Adi stopped some distance from the railway crossing. He chose to be under a shady tree, shelter from the cold rain.
The atmosphere was really quiet and silent. There was no one on the streets this time, only Mas Adi. Likewise, across the train tracks, nil, there is no vehicle that wants to pass. Mas Adi glanced at his watch, half nine nights. Maybe everyone is lazy to leave the house in the middle of this unfriendly weather.
Wiiuuwwww Wiiuuwww Wiiuu
The siren sound is the only friend of Mas Adi who managed to break the silence. Mas Adi sighed, the rain was getting heavier. Mas Adi rubbed the glass helmet that increasingly looks blurry exposed to splashes of water.
"Toloonggg," Sayup said that the voice of the person asking for help was heard.
Mas Adi was a little shocked. He sharpened his hearing.
"Toloonggg," again, there was the sound of people asking for help. A voice that sounded soft, distant, and resounding. It was as if the voice was spoken by some people.
Mas Adi spread his gaze. Search for the source of the sound. But the result is nil. Amidst the rain, limited vision, Mas Adi found nothing, no one.
"Mas?" A soft voice shocked Mas Adi. A female voice heard from behind.
Mas Adi glanced at the rearview mirror of his motorbike. A woman stood behind him. Mas Adi turned his head, and sure enough there was a female figure standing upright with a blank look. The woman was wearing black pajamas. Her body was soaked, her lips were deathly pale, her skin was slightly white looking bluish.
Mas Adi swallowed. Honestly, he was scared right now. He realized that the person behind him was not human. How can a man rain at night in pajamas?
"Who are you?," Mas Adi asked, having managed to master his fear.
"Help us, ma'am" said the woman. His expression remained, unchanged.
"Help you?" Mas Adi frowned.
"Yes, please Vira Mas. Help us," this time the female figure turned his head, looking at Mas Adi so closely.
"Vira?," Mas Adi remembered the name of the sixth woman who disappeared, the woman who was one room with Sinta.
Wuushh wuushh wuushh
The sound of the train passing by, distracting Mas Adi. The woman behind him has vanished, gone without a trace. On the street across the tracks, between the train cars passing in sequence, there were six women standing in line staring at Mas Adi. One of them was the woman who was behind Mas Adi.
"Help us," said the six women. A soft voice, but still clearly heard in Mas Adi's ears. A voice that was sad and full of sadness.
Mas Adi somehow did not feel fear. Mas Adi even shed his tears. Mas Adi was so sad, it was clear now that he was too late. Mas Adi is late to save the six missing comfort women. Mas Adi's hands were tightly clenched. He was getting furious and very eager to immediately subdue the mastermind behind the case that was being handled.
As the last train carriage had passed by, the figure of the six women lined up across the street had vanished. Crossing doors lifted slowly. Mas Adi again pulled the gas motor inside.
Mas Adi stopped his bike in one of the houses. A beautiful young woman was sitting on the porch waiting for her. A smile spread across his lips as he found out the person he was waiting for finally came as well.
"Good night" said Mas Adi kindly. He took off his jacket and hung it on a nail stuck in the outer wall of the house.
"Good night, my. Sorry to interrupt, let's enter Mas," Sinta said opening the door to Mas Adi.
"Maybe we should just go outside," Mas Adi subtly refused Sinta's invitation.
"I can't tell Mas if it's out here," Sinta frowns, looking worried as if someone is watching.
"Alright then," Mas Adi sighed, then obeyed Sinta's invitation to enter the house.
Mas Adi sat on a long, soft sofa in the middle of the living room. Sinta closed the door and immediately went to the kitchen. Take a soft drink in the refrigerator and serve it to Mas Adi.
"Now, can you start telling a story?," Mas Adi looked at Sinta, her body leaning forward, preparing to listen.
Sinta observed the figure before her. A burly man, with sharp eyes and a straight jaw. Thin mustache, slightly wet curls, somehow Sinta's heart beat fast. Sinta is still young, even though she has dated men several times, she has never felt as stubborn as she is today.
"Bak Sinta?" Mas Adi called out when Sinta just silently looked at him.
"Ah yes Mas," Sinta stammered.
"You don't have to doubt or fear. Please tell me," Mas Adi thought Sinta was afraid to be in front of him.
"Emm, look Mas. .either this story will be useful for investigation or not. Actually .. .dihari Vira disappeared, Vira is not likely to serve guests or date," Sinta mer*mas r*mas her own hand.
"I mean?," Mas Adi frowned not understanding.
"That day, Vira was coming by the moon," Sinta half-whispered.
"And, as far as I know some friends who disappeared before are also in a state of coming months," Sinta again spoke with half a whisper.
Mas Adi propped up his chin, thinking. A new information he got. Something that escapes observation and investigation. A frankincense and a victim who is coming on the moon. Mas Adi was increasingly convinced that the case he faced now was something that was evil and had a bad smell.
"There's more you want to tell Sinta Ma'am?," Mas Adi again asked, looking at Sinta gelagat who still knows something.
"So, a few days before Vira disappeared she was in 'message' to accompany a wealthy businessman out of town, whether this has something to do or not I do not dare to assume," Sinta said hesitantly.
"Pak Doto don't you mean?," Mas Adi guessed, Sinta quickly nodded.
Mas Adi was not surprised by Sinta's story about Mr. Doto. Mr. Doto is one of the suspects listed in Mas Adi's investigation. The six missing comfort women who were all with Mr. Doto went out of town, days before they vanished undiscovered. Although there is no evidence or any clue that leads to Mr. Doto, but Mas Adi felt too strange if the fact was ignored.
Mas Adi rested his body on the sofa. He looked up, looked up, staring at the lights above his blinding white head. Cases are complicated, difficult and make it dizzy. The more thought the more Mas Adi felt tired. And somehow Mas Adi wanted to close his eyes for a moment. His body and mind were completely overused. By accident, somehow Mas Adi overslept . . .
