The Skewers House

The Skewers House
Thunderstorms

His shriveled body slowly opened the pure white window curtain. A woman was lying naked next to her bed. The young woman looked beautiful, with her hair down, asleep so soundly. A cigar was sucked and exhaled while looking at the face of a woman who might be the same age as her daughter.

Mr. Doto smiled with satisfaction, the old man felt really lucky to be able to enjoy his old age. A treasure that feels inexhaustible seven derivatives, a smooth business and a competitor who is always afraid every hear his name. If he wants anything, just point. Eat well, sleep well, seductive young lady, she's got everything.

Drrtt drttt drttt

his HP on the table shook, a message came in.

"Well, why is this grandmother. Disturbing my morning spirit alone," Mr. Doto grumbled, knowing the incoming WA message from his wife.

His wife asked Mr. Doto where he had not yet gone home. Though Mr. Doto was awaited at home by his children and grandchildren. Mr. Doto replied to his wife's message that he had to go to Ki Sapta's house to facilitate his business activities.

"Why Om? How did it look upset?," The beautiful woman in front of Mr. Doto asked, she was seen sitting leaving her beautiful body in the face of Mr. Doto with a thin smile behind her bushy mustache.

"Obviously, my wife asks a lot of questions" Mr. Doto again sipped his cigar.

"If it doesn't fit, why not just split up? Rather than endure but hurt each other," The woman smiled mischievously, her skin so pure white was struck by the morning sun.

"Ha ha ha, you don't want to know. This way, I was famous as a wealthy businessman, loyal and affectionate wife," Mr. Doto chuckled.

"For what title or fame is like that?" the woman moved from her bed. Walking down the street in front of Mr. Doto without a thread covering his body.

"Good names are very important in a business you know. Consumers, customers, investors, everyone likes a businessman who has a life without black stains. So in my world, as rotten as the carcass that I produced must be tightly closed and not smelled by anyone," Mr. Doto pulled the woman's hand, then held her slim body.

"Don't ask much, your job isn't that" Mr. Doto grinned, the cigar smoke swirling in the air was intoxicating.

* * *

Wiryo walked to the hotel basement, where his employer's car was parked. The sunlight was stinging, this afternoon felt quite blistering. Wiryo who had just enjoyed relaxing in the hotel pool suddenly got a call from Mr. Doto to immediately bring his car to the front of the lobby.

Wiryo turned on the car, and in an instant immediately slid to where Mr. Doto had asked. The master was seen standing at the door of the hotel lobby with an unsightly expression.

"It's such a long time asshole! Your lemoth caved in!," Mr. Doto was furious when Wiryo got out of the car to open the door for him.

"I'm sorry Sir," Wiryo bowed and lowered his head. He memorized that his master did not accept any excuses so it was only an apology that Wiryo could say at this time.

"We're going to Ki Sapta's place now" Mr. Doto gave the order.

"Okay sir," Wiryo nodded, immediately stepping on the accelerator.

Ki Sapta's house as usual felt quiet and quiet. But this time it was different than usual. When Mr. Doto and Wiryo knocked on the door and called out to Ki Sapta, no one said anything. The door was closed, and there was no one at home. Several times Mr. Doto tried to call Ki Sapta, there was also no answer.

"It looks like Ki Sapta is not in the master's house," Wiryo peeked inside the house through the window.

"has known. I also have eyes, don't have much to say about you!," Mr. Doto snapped. He still looks upset at the driver.

The Sreekk Sreekk Sreekk

A voice sounded from beside the house. Sounds like objects swiping through the ground. The voice that had originally sounded in the distance and was getting closer and closer. Wiryo and Mr. Doto exchanged glances in silence. In the minds of both of them the same question arises, what sound is it?

Mr. Doto blinked one eye, giving orders for Wiryo to go check on him. Wiryo hesitated a little, forced to peek over the wall slowly. And apparently, there was an old grandmother seen walking using a wooden stick while holding a pile of grass for animal feed. The grandmother turned her head to look at Mr. Doto and Wiryo who were silently staring.

"What are you doing? Nyari Sapta?," asked the grandmother in a hoarse and quivering voice.

"Ah yes Mbah," Wiryo replied as he gulped.

Wiryo was a little scared and goosebumps watching the grandmother's face. Facial skin that is wrinkled with white hair entirely, decomposes and covers part of his face. The road is slow and slouching. His eyes looked so cold and sharp.

"Sapta is dead. Last night, he had a heart attack. Keep young wife ne stop somewhere," said the grandmother with a flat face.

"Life is always about choices. The good and bad of life depends on the choice of man himself. Taking a bad path in life is always punishable. It could be that the punishment is in this world or it could be in that world. Clearly, no one knows the age of man. You can't see the sun tomorrow morning either" said the grandmother as she walked away, leaving behind Mr. Doto and Wiryo who once again exchanged glances in silence.

After the grandmother died, Mr. Doto and Wiryo went back into the car. Wiryo starts the car and leaves Ki Sapta's house. While Mr. Doto looks pensive sitting in the back seat. Somehow, the words of the grandmother were like ringing in the mind of Mr. Doto and affecting his heart at this time.

Wiryo drives a car with a very careful heart. The rocky road they passed through was so steep. Conditions are exacerbated by the weather that just arrived changed. Suddenly it rained heavily. The grip of the tire decreases, the road feels more slippery.

The rush of rain is also quite disturbing Wiryo's vision. Thunder rang out faintly, occasionally lightning was seen illuminating the sky for a few seconds.

"Wiryo, I'm sorry if all this time there was a mistake with you," said Mr. Doto arrived. I don't know what that word means.

Wiryo did not have time to answer, a powerful lightning struck a tree just to the left of the car that was driving. The tree burned briefly then the tip of the branch fell gliding from a height.

Shocked Wiryo, reflexively slams the steering wheel of the car to the right. Naas, the car driven by Wiryo even plunged freely into the ravine. The car rolled several times until it finally stopped when it hit a large pine tree at the bottom of the ravine.

Heavy rain continues to fall. And around the tree that was still burning from lightning strikes, there were several figures standing in rows wearing a kind of black hooded raincoat.
