The day changed, the sunrise in the eastern horizon radiated warmth. The light was dazzling, piercing through the thin and transparent room curtain. Prambudi woke up from his sleep. His body felt stiff and a little pain in the waist. The wounds on his cheek and right eye had improved. But he still felt the need to take pain medication.
Prambudi went out of the room. He walked to the living room. Through the front window he peeked at his yard. It's clean, no more Linda's car or Rohmat's motorbike parked. Prambudi turned his body then walked into the kitchen while looking at his HP. So many messages came in from his wife that he had yet to reply.
Prambudi sighed, a little hesitant at last he pressed the Citra number. Prambudi called the wife he missed, there was a sense that he was already unable to bear. An hour is like a window. A day is like a century. Such is the longing, gnawing at the recesses of the human heart, reminding of the feeling of loneliness.
Tuutt Tuuttt Tuuttt
"Hello," Citra's voice sounded. The voice that Prambudi missed. A voice that can strengthen and weaken Prambudi at the same time.
"Mas Pram?," Citra called out to Prambudi who had been silent for a while.
"Cit, forgive me," said Prambudi. Only an apology was thought of by Prambudi at this time.
"I didn't miss your message bales. I didn't pick you up right away" Prambudi gulped after saying his sentence. There was a fear his wife would get angry. If you think about it, which woman will not be irritated or angry when the husband arrives just deliver him home to his parents, he said, then for no apparent reason for several days the husband is difficult to contact.
"I'm sure Mas Pram has his own reasons," said Citra softly. A sentence that makes Prambudi increasingly feel homesick and want to immediately embrace his wife. The wife who is always there for Prambudi, trying to understand and always trust him.
"So, when is Mas Pram going to pick me up and Manda?," Citra asked after a while they were equally speechless.
"Tomorrow afternoon. I will definitely pick you up Cit," Prambudi clenched his hands tightly, he spoke solemnly.
"I'm waiting for you" replied Citra briefly.
"Now Mas Pram Cepet shower continues to go to work. Anyway the important thing is tomorrow afternoon Mas here to pick me up and Manda," Citra ended the conversation on the phone with a sweet message.
There was a sense of passion in Prambudi's heart after calling Citra. He was determined to finish what he had started. There is only one more 'victim' that Prambudi must find, and all will end happily, once confidence in Prambudi's heart. Tonight he'll 'hunt' back.
Prambudi brew coffee with thermos water that is not too hot. Maybe from yesterday the flask water was not replaced, the heat had evaporated leaving the water that was only warm lukewarm. Yes, that is Prambudi, a man who is not good at taking care of himself if there is no image beside him. He stirred the coffee without adding sugar. Finally a cup of bitter coffee was served.
Two people with bound hands and feet were in the corner of the room. Mbah Kadir was lying with his eyes closed, his breathing increasingly sounding slow and rare. Maybe the old grandfather was just waiting for the time until his death arrived. While next to Mbah Kadir there is Linda in a condition half late*ng moaning in pain. The head of his back was wounded with blood that had dried up, his mouth was clogged with duct tape so that he could not speak or shout. He looked terrified at the arrival of Prambudi.
Prambudi dragged a chair, then sat down in front of Linda. She looked at Linda with a face that looked sad. I don't know what made him sad, whether because he remembered all the people he hurt or he could not bear to see the condition of his coworkers. Prambudi rubbed Linda's hair slowly. The woman was shivering with cold.
"I'm sorry Lin. I never really intended to do this to you. I'm forced. I have to do it so I can feel happiness for the rest of my life. You also know that every happiness always requires sacrifice, whether big or small," Prambudi sighed, his head bowed in lethargy. Linda threw a face, she did not want to look at the face of Prambudi who looks sorry for his actions.
Prambudi looked at Linda's lower body. Looks like a bloodstain there. Prambudi got down from the chair, he sat down this time in front of Linda. Prambudi touched the bloodstains on Linda's thigh.
"It's time Lin. Forgive me for all my wrongs to you. I'm honestly pretty interested in you. I hope you can understand why I do this. Just like you who try to be with me even though I know I already have an image, so do I. I was willing to do anything to be with the person I love" Prambudi shed tears, his voice shaking. Linda glared at the words of Prambudi. His eyes were full of hatred and swearing that could not come out due to his blocked mouth.
Prambudi sipped the bitter coffee he had prepared. His eyes were closed, his mouth was kamit. Prambudi took a deep breath, exhaling it slowly. Simultaneously, slowly the land smelled a foul smell. It smells like rotten eggs or animal carcasses mixed with the fragrance of flowers. The true aroma makes nausea and disgusting. Linda felt like vomiting. His stomach was stirred, not bad.
Grrrrr Grrrr Grrrrrr
There was a growling sound from the corner of the room next to the door. Not seen what creatures growling it, the atmosphere is too dark. The sound of a tiger-like growl was heard getting closer and closer to Prambudi.
"Hmmmphhh Hmmpphh Hmmpphhh," Linda stepped on her foot. He tried to scream but could not, his mouth was clogged. She was crying so much. Worship, beg for mercy, while continuing to move wildly. But all the efforts were in vain, the sound of the savage growling drew closer.
Linda was really scared, she didn't expect her life to end this way. He used to not believe in the term that said this love killed me, but it turned out that the term really happened to his life. He could have been killed for his blind love for Prambudi.
Suddenly the sound of the growling disappeared. Prambudi opened his eyes. But the look in his eyes changed, there was a terrible grin on his lips. He moved from his seat. Prambudi behaved strangely. He crawled around Linda's body. His saliva dripped disgusting. And he gripped Linda's crazy body.
Ggrrrrrrrrr
