The Sky Dragon Swordsman

The Sky Dragon Swordsman
#126. Andhara Warrior

The sun had returned to its quarrel when the soldiers of Gurjara had finished burying all the corpses. After having finished properly burying all the corpses, the soldiers then moved back to burn down the entire building that had previously been the settlement of the Aghori sect. The blazing fire and black smoke rising high in the air consumed the remaining buildings..

Mathanadeva decided to camp in the former settlement of the Aghori sect to rest his troops. The look of fatigue and hunger began to plague his entire army including Mathanadeva himself.

Moving in the early hours of the morning and just resting when it was dark was of course very physically draining the soldiers, and Mathanadeva understood that, because before he became a king and still included in Gurjara's army, he also often felt the same way and often slept in the open and only roofed the sky. Being born as a crown prince does not necessarily make it more facilities than other soldiers.. equality in a sudaj union was adopted from the time his father became king of Gurjara and it was also applied by Mathanadeva to the current Aahana.

Such a situation becomes a time to establish intimacy with his troops so that the bond between them is not just a king and a soldier, even when it is open like this all can joke freely even though the soldiers still maintain the authority of the king and moments like this are often used by soldiers to joke with the king because upon returning to the palace all will be back formal and all are bound to the rules made in the palace.

Special Bivaks were made as a resting place for Mathanadeva while Aahana chose to join the other soldiers. Despite being the only woman Aahana never felt awkward to gather with the men.

Another bivouac was also made as a resting place for former members of the Aghori sect.in that place some soldiers gave guidance and advice to former members of the Aghori sect to leave the teachings that they had been following, and Mathanadeva who also had time to visit the place even promised to give fair treatment to them if they were willing to leave the heresies and dark history they had experienced would be hidden so that people it can blend in with other people.

Hundreds of new soldiers returned from hunting with many hunted animals. Their arrival was of course welcomed by other soldiers who had been waiting.. some of the soldiers delivered food first to the former members of the Aghori sect.

Apparently small things like that and Aahana who also accompanied the children slowly managed to eliminate the fear they felt all day.

The victory achieved by Gurjara soldiers today does not necessarily make the atmosphere lively.. many of them took time to rest while others joked near the bonfire to pass a night filled with stars and a moon that shone bright as if congratulating the victory them.

The blaze that scorched the entire building in the former Aghori sect settlement produced thick smoke and was visible to villagers around the forbidden forest.. the incident certainly attracted the attention of the villagers, especially the forbidden forest was a scary place for them.

Desas - Desus will the emergence of stealth in the forest of prohibition spread quickly until finally heard by Vijay who became the mayor of Shimla. Vijay orders a hundred selected soldiers to investigate the events in the forbidden forest.

Shimla is one of the cities included in the kingdom of Andhara which became the last city bordering Nalagarh, a city included in the kingdom of Gurjara.. while the forbidden forest area which is an elongated mountainous area seems to be a natural fortress that separates the two kingdoms.

The distance between the town of Shimla and the forbidden forest is indeed far enough that it takes half a day of riding to arrive at the last village directly adjacent to the forest.. and that night a hundred soldiers sent by Vijay were forced to spend the night in the village before continuing the morning journey.

The Gurjara warriors who burned the remains of the building when it was getting dark of course made a bright light visible from the village so that the Vijay messenger soldiers had to keep their vigilance all night, do not - do not be a creature that becomes a rumor - will rush to attack the village.Even villagers consisting of adult men are also alerted to anticipate unwanted things.

As the morning approached, a hundred soldiers immediately entered the forbidden forest even though last night nothing happened.but the task of ensuring the circumstances that occur in the forbidden forest must still be implemented.

The soldiers stopped their mount horses as they reached the edge of the forest and immediately tethered their horses. A very lush forest with trees - tall large trees towering with vines as if covering the forest from the sunlight.. cold temperatures due to the lack of incoming sunlight are the first thing felt when first entering the forest.

The commander of the force ordered five of his soldiers to return to the village and seek immediate help in anticipation of the unexpected while he himself led his troops down the hill.

"What are they doing here...?? is it possible that Mathanadeva is planning to attack us..? " ask one of the soldiers.

"I'm not sure, because Mathanadeva is not such a person, there may be a group that wants to pit us against Gurjara" said another soldier.

The name Mathanadeva is indeed famous as a wise and peace-loving king, but seeing the banner of the greatness of Gurjara certainly raises many questions to them.

All the soldiers increased their vigilance as they approached and saw the banner of the kingdom of Gurjara fluttering around the camp and the leader of the soldiers ordered some of his soldiers to wait while he and five other soldiers were carrying the banner of the Andhara kingdom found a group of Gurjara warriors.

"Your highness, there are some people who are heading here.they carry the banner of Andhara. "one of the soldiers standing guard around the camp gave a report to Mathanadeva.

"Andhara Warrior..?? what are they doing here..? are we breaking the border..? " murm Mathanadeva then turned to Shiva who just shrugged his shoulders and scrunched his forehead.

"Hurry to meet them and tell them to talk to me" Mathanadeva told the soldier who reported.

A Gurjara warrior is seen running up the hill to meet Andhara soldiers who are down the hill.

"Sorry sir, your majesty, ask you to meet him" said the soldier to six Andhara soldiers.

"Your highness..?? is the emperor Mathanadeva what you mean..? ask the Andhara warrior leader.

"Truly sir, please. " replied the warrior Gurjara, inviting the Andhara warriors to follow him.

The name of Mathanadeva in the camp certainly makes the six Andhara soldiers ask each other questions, it is by following the soldiers who meet them.
