#57. Tease Xie Annchi
"You hear the wolf?" While burning the new fish in can Aji Dharma ask Laksminingrum.
"I heard it. His voice sounded like a howl of sadness. I think the wolf is grieving. Let's see," replied Laksminingrum. They immediately looked for the source of the sound, leaving the fish almost cooked to roast.
As they approached the source of the sound, from behind the trees they both saw a human figure that looked like a wolf was roaring with a very pitiful voice.
"What should we do?" In a soft voice Aji Dharma asked Laksminingrum.
"Eitherway. I hesitated to approach him. There's a chance we'll be attacked by him."
"What if we use your sword just in case? If he attacks us, you just cut it down" Aji Dharma gave an idea.
With his hands ready to pull out the sword from the scabbard, Laksminingrum and Aji Dharma immediately drew closer to the werewolf. When consciously approached unexpectedly the werewolf instead avoided from there.
"He escaped. What do we do?" Ask Laksminingrum.
"We're after him. It doesn't seem like he's as bad as we thought he was" replied Aji Dharma.
They immediately chased the werewolf, but neither did they meet. When he was about to give up, suddenly the werewolf looked a bit far from them, only when he realized he was being noticed he immediately fled from there.
"Don't follow me!" One of the trees says that phrase. It seems that it is still new because it still looks fresh sap that flows there . Laksminingrum and Aji Dharma looked very surprised to see the writing.
"Why do you think he could write something like this? Is he actually human like us?" Ask Aji Dharma.
"Maybe. But why did he run away when he saw us?"
"Either. But if for example he was from a demon, he would have never interacted with the human world. It's just that if he belonged to a human being maybe the change in him made him feel ashamed and afraid to be seen."
"So, are we going after that mysterious wolf?" Ask Aji Dharma.
"How about we eat first? I'm so hungry now."

The werewolf sat behind a large rock that was nearby. After feeling sure no one was following him, he took a deep breath of relief. He had actually wanted to get closer to two people who had tried to pursue him, but he stopped because he realized his current form was terrible.
He had walked away from the cave where he had been transformed into a terrible form for several days. There is no intention of going back there. Whatever happens he does not want his life to be under the control of that woman.
Even if only by obeying all his will then he will come back again, but he really does not want to go there. Despite being a man again, still he could not marry the woman he wanted to be his wife.
When he remembered the woman, now the werewolf felt like he wanted to know what the man was doing. He hoped that in a place far away from her now the woman was thinking about her never coming back. He also thought whether the woman would still love even though now her form was far different.
I don't know why there was a hint of doubt in his heart . He felt that the woman might now be with the others considering that she had disappeared . Especially before her parents were already urging her to get married. Let's not be a spinster, if they say. Moreover, lately the famous Empang master's son also seemed interested in him. Whatever it was, he wished for the girl to be happy. He would not be disappointed if his fears were proven.
