#39. The White Flow Alliance Threat
"New son of the village chief lamaknya already so. I, the son of the king, never thought to act like that. What is there to be proud of the village chief's son?" When he heard that the man was the son of a village chief he stopped beating him. I want to say harsh words to him. Just didn't so he did because he didn't want to make any further trouble. The words that were about to come out were self-fulfilling.
He and Laksminingrum immediately took the woman away. The man who was just now looked helpless. Almost dead Aji Dharma made it. He thinks it's the right thing.
"Thank you both for helping me. If there is no master somehow my fate," said the woman.
"It's okay. It's all just a coincidence and God alone. If you could know where these kids live?" Ask Laksminingrum.
"I live not far from here. If you both want to, I will be happy to accept you both" said the woman.
"But, I want the incident to be kept secret. I don't want my father to deal with that man's family anymore. He has suffered enough because of them, I don't want to add to his burden anymore" he said.
"Well, what's your name?" Laksminingrum asked.
"Call Galuh. And you two?"
"I am Laksminingrum and the next one is called Aji Dharma. We are travelers who are adventurous while trying to realize our own dreams. Why are you in the woods with that guy?"
"I was forced . He brought some of the men, while I was alone. He threatened me. If I didn't want to go, he would raise the debt we had. This is the second time he's done something like that to me."
"I should have killed him. That way you won't get in trouble again ."
"Well, I'll go back to where that guy was. Let him die, if I don't know him," Aji Dharma looked furious. Laksminingrum actually agreed with Aji Dharma, but he thought it was too much. He didn't know what to say to his companion.
"What makes you owe such a person?" Ask Laksminingrum.
"I actually don't know. I only vaguely heard that my father was deceived. But I don't know exactly why. All I know is that his father was a depraved village chief. He's also a ruthless loan shark."
"Didn't you report to the government?"
"Nobody would dare. He was assisted by the Duke, after all we are only a small people. Wherever our report may have reached the king. "
"I get. But you don't mind if you have to be harassed continuously?" Aji Dharma who had just been silent began to say.
