The Story Behind the Curtain
Happiness Mixed with Sadness

Rafan's sorrow ended just like that after hearing Galang's advice at length. That's why he drives his car quite speeding to find the whereabouts of the wife. As the car drove down the street Rafan's phone rang repeatedly.

“Hmm ...” Rafan answered Galang's phone call with a mutter.

“Yakin lo, Mas? Just be careful if you get it wrong!” threaten Rafan without turning his eyes off the streets.

“Iya.”

Without further ado Rafan hung up the phone call. Moments later, Rafan turns his car into a small alley, a small house with green roof tiles that look not far from him.

With a smile on her pointy lips, the small wrinkles on both sides of her eyes did not diminish Rafan's good looks. Even the wrinkles that were caused from Rafa's charming smile, added to the sweetness on the black-haired man's face.

The clenching inside his chest made him very nervous and he suddenly pulled his car over on the side of the road.

“Assalamaicum. Hi, how are you?” Rafan raised his hand high.

“What the fuck? Whether to ngajak dugem,” grumbled Rafan while tidying his hair that became Erli's favorite.

“Assalamualaikum.” Rafan bent his body a little, “please, forgive all the actions of his mother and all the words that have offended your heart,” said Rafan while presenting a thin smile.

The man nodded satisfied with his training. The car engine is back on, too, Rafan drove his car at a moderate speed and the man parked his car right in front of Erli— contract which he used to ‘lah who sought this house for Erli to live in before becoming his wife.

Rafan knocked on his wife's door. Once, twice and thrice; no answer. The man walked to the side of the house peeking at the window of the room Erli used to occupy.

From the outside there was no movement of anyone and the room looked empty, but Erli's belongings were still neatly arranged. Rafan glanced at his neighbor's house which also looked quiet.

“Where are they? Is it possible they went back to Bandung? But, why aren't his things taken?" he was in confusion.

His long legs returned to walk and when he got to the front of the house, Rafan sat himself in the terrace chair occasionally glancing into the small house.

To get rid of his satiety Rafan played the game he used to play. At first he was quite amused by the game, but for a long time the man was bored.

His eyes wandered around, hoping that someone was passing by who he could ask about the whereabouts of his wife and son. His head bowed and his netra hanzel stared at a circular watch in his left hand.

The hour hand showed at 22:11 minutes, worry enveloped Rafan's heart. How agitated he was to think of his wife who was somehow where he was now,

Rafan stood up and opened the car door, when he was about to get into the car drum his ears heard a very familiar laughter. The man quickly turned his head towards the source of the sound.

Unknowingly he ran small and scattered his embrace to the wife who was busy joking with Khafi. The careless Khafi looked away and left them both, as did Rasmi and Jafar.

The two parents continued Erli gave space for the couple to chat. Rafan loosened his embrace and stared fixedly at the face of Erli—the woman he so longed for.

Rafan's big fingers stroked Erli's broken hair, the glare of my eyes adding to the heartache of Erli.

“You didn't miss me? Why not take a call from me? Is your hate on me so much?” leaning in while putting hands around both shoulders Erli.

Rafan hopes to get answers to all questions, instead of answering his wife instead of crying in silence. Her tears came in response to all the questions Rafan asked.

Rafan clutched his wife's tiny body and placed Erli's head in front of his chest. The cry of Rafan's heartbeat makes Erli cry.

“Hey, why are you throwing away your precious tears?” He bowed his head to see the wife's face.

“Have not cried again!” continue while peeling the tip of Erli's head.

“D-from where ... D-know that I am here?” asked Erli stammering.

“Not answer my question, this is you are busy asking me with other questions!” rafan protests with his hands pinching his wife's nose.

“I'm afraid ...” Staring at Rafan's face at a glance and re-bending his head.

“Fear?” Peering at Erli's bent face.

Slowly Erli nodded in agreement with Rafan's words.

“What scares you?” Leads Erli to sit in the car.

“I am afraid ... afraid to hear Mas's decision about our relationship,” said Erli with all his busyness.

“Erli .. Rafan's last mate." Both hands of Rafan covered a part of Erli's face, "don't think of anything negative! I'm still your husband,” Rafan said as he patted his wife's head gently.

In different places and in different rooms as well. It looks like Xavier is busying himself in his private GYM room. From running on a treadmill to weightlifting and other sports activities.

Xavier's eyes glanced at the source of the voice. With her new footsteps entering the GYM room, she claims to be her private room after the room and office.

“Stop!” stop Xavier while stopping his legs.

An electronic tool tub that has a remote control, Sobin stops and pegs himself in the doorway. Xavier got up and pulled a small towel in his bag.

Xavier gently blocked the sweat that flooded his entire body and face.

“What do you want to report?” Chugging orange juice.

Sobin bowed and whispered in Xavier's ear. The son of the 4th richest man in the Capital listened intently to all the reports from his accomplices.

Sobin stood up straight again to look at his young master who was still sitting.

Xavier looked up at Sobin and said, “Make my meeting with him like an unexpected encounter. And remember! don't let him suspect that this is my plan.”

Xavier shook his hand, as he got up from his seat. Xavier's head felt dizzy and his eyes faded, repeatedly rubbing his eyes still not returning to normal.

Suddenly Xavier fell down and his nose bled out, all the bodyguards guarding him ran up to him.

“You must go to the hospital, Young Master!” brian advises his accomplice and best friend since college first.

Instead of taking his friend's advice, Xavier snapped at Brian instead.

“No! Just take me home!” Xavier's body was getting squeezed and his breathing was choked.

All of his bodyguards panicked to see his boss' son unconscious. Brian who has the closest relationship immediately took the action to take his best friend to the nearest hospital from the gym building.

“Defend Vier! I'm sure you can get through this again" Brian said, holding his friend's hand tightly.

There was a look of worry on the man's face and his mouth did not stop chanting prayers for his friend and boss.

“Can't you increase the rate of this car, huh!” brian snapped with glaring eyes.
