Nio could see that clearly but he had to remain a protagonist that many of his readers could love. So one thing to say is.

"Amane your face flushed red, are you okay?"

"It's because of the sun."

"You want to move places with me?"

After the bus stopped, the two got down from there and walked for 5 minutes to get to the town square, because of the holiday many families who stop by here there are those who are carrying their children and traveling around and there are also those who hold mats for a picnic together.

Seeing that there was a slight sense of awkwardness between the two yet they chose not to think about it anymore and continued walking to a monument placed in the middle of this courtyard. The monument is rectangular in shape that extends upward and there are four key holes there.

"This?"

"Each key is held by the chairman of OSIS."

"What could they really be fighting over this."

"Of course, before this city was a mafia-infested city, in this city everyone spilled blood on each other until in the end everyone agreed to divide the territory into four parts and everyone was entitled to attack each other to get another territory."

"It doesn't solve any problems."

Nio's words clearly made sense, for what they agreed but in the end did not result in any peace and still remained hostile.

Amane.

"Yes, but this is a better way than having to fight a large-scale war, the four regions chose to minimize the risk by simply handing everything over to their younger successors so they created schools in each region and let them fight instead, if the police came to investigate they would only consider it juvenile delinquency, as long as it doesn't kill, nothing bad will happen."

Nio could understand what Amane was trying to say.

"They want to resolve the conflict in a more subtle way without bloodshed, I can guess what is inside this monument."

"You can guess it?"

"Of course, but it's not good to say, obviously someone who can get all the keys will change this town."

Nio could understand what the headmaster had previously said, if following the route that happened it was not strange that he was also one of the Mafia involved in this ridiculous match.

Whatever happens, Nio just has to win all this and make peace in this city.

The fact that the people could live here peacefully was a miracle, he did not find it surprising anymore that the men and women around him were members of the Mafia before.

Amane's voice brought him back to reality.

As Nio suspected he was taken to a game center and there he was slaughtered with defeat.

"Ugh. let me rest."

"Too early to stop let's finish one more round."

After one exhausting day Nio sat in the long chair while Amane appeared with a can of cold drink that he thrust at him.

"I'm the deal, Nio managed to beat me in the last round it was amazing, next time let's play like this again."

Nio smiled as he received the drink.

"Well, I'll keep winning."

"That's new spirit."

Both of them laughed.

At that moment Roseanne who happened to cross made both paled.

"Amane and Nio?"

"Ah, Chief.we're just taking a walk together, I hope you're not.."

"What do you want to say, I don't care at all."

"But your face doesn't say that."

"My face is already like this, I just stopped by to shop then I'm sorry and also Nio you better not try to approach me again. I don't like men who just play around with girls."

Nio could feel some swords had pierced his body.

"Excuse me."

The two only saw Roseanne depart from a distance.

"He's really mad, you better try to explain?"

"Looks like that, I'd better catch up with him, thanks for today."

Just as Nio turned around a voice sounded by him.

"I like you."

He stopped to glance towards Amane until their gazes met, Nio clearly heard that but he could not reciprocate the feeling, he doesn't even know what feelings he has for Amane so he returns to play the romantic comedy protagonist that most people hate.

"Did you say something?"

Amane shook his head in reply.
