Chapter 70: An Invitation
Damian sped his bike pretty fast when a bunch of black cars chased him from behind, they shrewdly cornered him to a much quieter place until he finally stopped when another car had been crossed to hold him further.
He removed the helmet from his head and got off his bike.
He was about to spin unfortunately every car had prevented him from escaping.
The door of the car opened and featured a beautiful girl with a cane and a round hat on her head.
"Guil Aoi."
"Greetings Damian, from everyone your powers are troublesome enough that I should take them."
"I thought you could do it."
"Are you willing to give it?"
"Of course not."
Damian stared intently at Aoi unfortunately that was his mistake, as Aoi's eyes were slightly radiating rays she lost consciousness.
"I took it so leave it."
"Well miss."
"The next thing is to get other powers too."
They just left him.
Meanwhile, Amane must face Sakuragi who suddenly attacks him on the school grounds while trying to help Roseanne who fights Willy.
"Dam."
"For fellow swordsmen, you're a worthy opponent."
"I only use wooden swords."
Amane slid his sword style as well as his enemy easily repelled him, as he lost his balance Sakuragi kicked his stomach until he was thrown backwards.
"What the hell are you guys, strike arbitrarily with just two people, don't underestimate us."
The trio of friends decided to help, they are not esper users or as strong as Amane they are just amateurs who are easy to drop with just a small kick.
"No."
"He's very strong."
Sakuragi obviously did not want to give them any more pain, he turned towards Amane who had already bounced back.
Amane sent out a slash, different from before his movements had accelerated 10-fold until he moved like a wind.
Sakuragi dodged a slash as thin as the tip of his hair and then spun around to cross his sword to resist the attack. Before retaliating Amane had disappeared and appeared behind him.
"What?"
Sakuragi was about to draw his sword but too late, his sword shattered with a vertical slash and as he retreated the pain ran through his body before he crashed parallel to the ground.
"What just now?"
"I increase muscle work, breathing and blood flow all at once."
"I've been practicing since I was taken hostage by Norman."
"Shortly that."
"Such a thing will never happen again" Amane threw away his face and asked the trio of friends to tie Sakuragi up before turning his eyes toward Roseanne's fight against Willy.
Willy made the chunk of ice Roseanne shot before lift and then threw the attack back at her.
Roseanne made a wall of ice to hold it.
"Telekenesis is a hassle."
"It's nothing."
"Compared to moving a lot of people you move a little."
"That's because we don't want to make meaningless fights, my job is just to beat you up and take you to Aoi."
"I'm going to let that happen."
Amane moved past Roseanne to deliver his sword slash, before it hit him Willy flew into the sky.
"You won't be able to catch me here."
"Amane," called Roseanne who was running towards him.
Understanding what the chairman meant, he turned around by putting up the horses and allowed his hands to be used as Roseanne's footing to jump.
"What?"
Roseanne catches Willy's foot and in an instant spreads coldness to wrap it in ice until the two fall down.
"It's cold."
"Already I thought, you can only move yourself and the things your hands are pointing at."
"Where do you know that?"
"I've seen you stop a car before when it was about to hit a child."
"You look at it when I'm very careful, if I don't control my power by hand, it'll get out of hand."
He's just a good guy.
Willy's phone dropped off and Roseanne picked it up.
"Your subordinates have been defeated."
"It seems so, what a pity but want to end it all at once?"
"It's better that way."
"Then meet me in the town square in three days with all the keys.You can bring all the other OSIS leaders if you want but instead let go of both, I promise they won't be fighting this battle again."
"Then it's okay."
Amane nodded as well.
