The Struggle of Women

The Struggle of Women
Episode 18's

Zian's laughter still hasn't subsided even though he and Liam have returned to the hotel and are in his study. Almost half an hour he was at the police station, trying to straighten out the misunderstandings that must befall his cousin, of course the explanation that is still acceptable in the public eye is not based on actual facts.

It's not easy indeed, let alone the police asking for and needing validation of Liam's true identity to exonerate the man from the charges, it's fortunate that one of the lawyers Zian brought in was able to solve them quickly. Well, less than half an hour according to Zian has been a fairly short time compared to having to be there for hours.

“What you've been laughing about since. You find this funny because there must be something to do with you, right? Surely the woman's arrival has something to do with your filthy brain!”

Zian threw his body into the chair of his pride. Staring at Liam who was standing towered in front of his work desk with a cold face and a piercing gaze. Contrary to her who still looks relaxed, showing off her smile that does not also go from the lips.

“Of course. You think the reason I told them that that woman was my niece's nurse who was sick and wanted to invite her to play with the hero theme was right?” without guilt Zian chuckles, “Only a madman would have believed the story.”

“And you think the cops are crazy for believing in you?” liam the circus.

“They are not crazy, just reluctant to serve the game of people like us.” Zian's shoulder was raised indifferently, while Liam was still standing with a look of incomprehension as to why his cousin was doing this kind of annoying silly thing.

“And shouldn't you explain what really happened? What's your goal in sending that woman to my room?”

Zian's lips formed a thin grin, staring at his brother with a seductive look. “Don't look at me like that, I'm just trying to get your passion back. You have to feel back what true happiness is, Liam.”

“Fuck,” grunt Liam. “What do you care about my problem that one. Ye know? Just being around them makes me lazy, then you ask me to carelessly establish a relationship? Don't joke!”

Zian's body that was originally leaning leisurely in his chair suddenly straightened, as well as his face that turned serious. Looks smelly mixed with worry. “Liam, are you sure you're okay? I'm afraid you—” Zian's gaze that went down to the bottom of Liam's body made the man uncomfortable, especially Liam knows very well what is now in his cousin's dirty brain.

“Don't interfere in my business, I said! I can and know what to do for myself,” snapped Liam warned. “Once again you do this kind of ridiculous and disgusting thing, I make sure Grandpa gives you the right punishment. Not only sent to the country of nowhere, but all the facilities that exist to you will also be pulled.”

“Hey, it's too cruel!” zian's protest was unacceptable.

Zian was indeed part of one of the heirs of the Tanubrata business empire, but the main holders of all of them would obviously fall into the hands of Liam who was most trusted by their Grandfather. Once Liam gave the order, it was not impossible that what he said was actually happening.

“I just want to help you, you know? Who knows if you force yourself to do it, later you will get used to.”

“Liam, all you have to think about is not just yourself. You don't remember Kei at home? The child needs the figure of a mother, you can't just let it grow like this, especially when most of your time you spend taking care of the company.”

Suddenly the direction of the conversation both turned 180 degrees into sensitive content, because Liam did not like the way to educate children commented, even though what Zian said was true even though.

“You don't know what Kei used to say when you didn't see him for a few days?” zian asked to see Liam's reaction. “Om, do you not love Kei anymore? Why don't you go home and see Kei? Did Kei do anything wrong until I didn't want to see Kei again?”

Liam does not like to be commented on, but he does not necessarily leave the conversation or cut it off. All Liam did was shut up, until the person finished everything on his mind.

“At first, I was just trying to prank you, get people to take her to your room and let her use her way to try to tease you. The plan was executed immediately when I found out you had a meeting at the hotel today. Like your habit of always cleaning up immediately after meeting a lot of people, I memorize you will occupy the room you used to occupy here.”

Zian did not feel the need to bother or make small talk of having his cousin sit down, just let the person stand there, listening to his chatter which would be very long for the good of his own cousin. Zian just wanted to prove how much of a jerk he was, when it came to his nephew Zian also cared.

“But while waiting for news of my surprise and going home, I met Kei who was sad. You can guess who is the cause of his grief here, right? Because obviously he offended you who hadn't seen him in the last week.”

“He was just looking for attention,” kilah Liam, remembered Kei's phone saying nonsensical things to attract his attention.

“That's because you didn't pay attention to him! If you pay attention to him like a father who takes on two roles, Kei will definitely not be like that. Admit that you can't take care of Kei yourself, that's why you should start looking for a partner!” exclaim Zian gaunty.

Liam exhaled slowly, taking out the position of both hands that were originally in his pants pocket. Without saying anything, the man decided to turn around, leaving the room that he felt would only add to the burden of his mind with unnecessary things. As Zian had said since he entered the place.

“Running away again, huh? When do you want to do it? Until Kei knows for himself where he came from and why he was born?”

“Zian!” Liam snapped with his body back facing the man, unhappy with the sentence he had just heard.

“What?” challenge Zian fearlessly, the man returned Liam's sharp gaze with just as cold. “If you really want Kei to be a child who is only in charge of inheriting your inheritance, tell him from now on, don't make himself expect your affection just like other children in general. Tell him directly if his birth is only to continue the lineage, then he will grow like robot—sama like you,” said Zian ended their conversation that afternoon.
