"Report, there is still no movement from the rebels." A person in black said to a man in front of him.

The man at the front was Huang Ruifeng, who was currently replacing Huang Long taking care of the Palace.

Hearing the report from his subordinates, Huang Ruifeng responded. "Continue watching them. Don't miss a second of surveillance!"

The black-clothed man placed both his hands in front of his face, indicating that he was obedient. "Good."

The figure of the Queen Mother was still beautiful as usual, yet she was a little thin. The woman was now sitting on a chair while sipping tea. His gaze stared at the poetry verse Spring Dawn placed on the bulkhead of the paper screen.

Chen Xiang did not know why his father had placed the Queen Mother in the same room as him.

In silence, a black-robed figure stepped silently towards a cell that was at the very end.

Hearing the sound of approaching footsteps, the only prisoner in the cell did not move.

"Xiao Zhang." After hearing the voice saying his name, he raised his head.

Xiao Zhang recognized this voice very well. He will never forget it.

Xiao Zhang looked at the figure in front of him with an extremely cold gaze.

Xie Hongyi had a slight grudge with Yin Tianrui, so he wanted to release Xiao Zhang in order to make the Northern Emperor panic. He will not help even if asked. Let the man feel the consequences! Xie Hongyi held the cold iron cell with both hands. His face looks plain. "I just want to see an old friend. Is that wrong?" The implicit meaning in those words was in coming here to free Xiao Zhang.

After staring coldly at Xie Hongyi, Xiao Zhang then looked at Xie Hongyi ferociously. It looks like a wild beast that will pounce on its prey at any time.

Xiao Zhang stared at everything that was happening with a puzzled face, yet when he realized what Xie Hongyi's intentions were, his head was filled with many thoughts.

Just a second after the iron chain was released, Xiao Zhang suddenly moved.

Xiao Zhang intended to bring Xie Hongyi as he exited the cell, but he was surprised that the woman was moving so fast and had instantly disappeared from his sight aka blurred!

He had no time to chase after Xie Hongyi, so he then rushed away from the prison.

All of the guards had been crippled by Xie Hongyi which was why Xiao Zhang had easily escaped.

At the same time, Xie Hongyi was on the run. At first he smoothly escaped away from Xiao Zhang, but halfway through he had to stop.

Someone was about to sneak into the building, obviously he was not the owner because there was no way someone would come to his own place secretly.

Xie Hongyi and that someone exchanged glances for a moment.

Xie Hongyi stopped his steps.

They both stared at each other.

The figure looked a little shocked as Xie Hongyi learned of his whereabouts. However, quickly the man regained his composure.

Without a hint the man moved and began to attack him. Xie Hongyi was slightly shocked at the man's attack. He just passed by okay, instead of bothering the guy.

But, it seemed that the figure did not think the same as Xie Hongyi. He might be upset about being caught by that woman.

The man's martial arts were higher than Xie Hongyi's, so the woman could only do defense.

"This guy is so hard!" Xie Hongyi exclaimed inwardly.

Feeling that he would not win with his bare hands, the man then touched his waist and pulled out a sword.

After the man pulled out the sword, Xie Hongyi felt that the weapon was so familiar.

Without thinking anymore, Xie Hongyi shouted. "It's me!"

The man's movements froze.

The man stopped his sword which was about to stab the opponent in the neck. If the man were to slightly move, the sharp sword would pierce through the throat.

As expected the man behind the black clothes was Huang Long.

After Huang Long lowered his sword, Xie Hongyi asked. "Your Majesty, what are you doing here?"

Without answering, Huang Long turned his gaze to the room he was about to enter. As Xie Hongyi recalled, this room was the Emperor's study room. In a few moments Xie Hongyi finally knew why Huang Long had come here.

It turned out that he and Huang Long had the same intentions. Huang Long wanted to slightly teach the Northern Emperor a lesson perhaps by stealing some important documents in the Emperor's study room or something. But on the way, he met Xie Hongyi.

The woman found this very interesting. He knew that Huang Long was a vengeful person, but he did not expect that the man would make a move at the same time as him. Without thinking, he said, "Your Majesty, I will help you."

The two then entered the Emperor's study. Like the study room in general, there is a table and a chair on which there is ink and several report books.

Xie Hongyi and Huang Long walked around for about a few minutes.

"The bedroom?" Xie Hongyi muttered as he found a set of sleeping utensils near the Emperor's study table separated by a wooden bulkhead with foliage motifs on its surface.

Xie Hongyi did not think any further before guessing that maybe this bedroom was used by Yin Tianrui to rest. He then walked towards the Emperor's study table.

Looking at the report book lying on the table, Xie Hongyi had an idea.

"I know what we're gonna do."

Xie Hongyi exchanged the report book for the book he had brought. More precisely, the items he exchanged for points.

At this moment suddenly came the sound of footsteps. Xie Hongyi and Huang Long were looking for a place to hide. There was no time to leave because the footsteps were getting closer.

Huang Long went under the bed and followed Xie Hongyi.

A delicate female voice sounded. "Your Majesty why don't we go to my place?"

"Zhen wants to do it with you here. Does Lan'er mind?" A man answered the woman.

Xie Hongyi and Huang Long recognized this voice belonged to Yin Tianrui.

Between the conversations that were heard, the two people who were under the bed immediately knew what was going to happen.

"This servant will always obey His Majesty's orders."

The woman's voice sounded so spoiled that Xie Hongyi almost vomited. It was fortunate that his mouth was faster covered by Huang Long's hand.

There was the sound of a cloth pull followed by a bang on the bed. The man and woman were then entangled under the bed sheet.

And then, the two people below him finally knew the function of the bed in the study room.

While the two people who were below them, were in a very awkward situation.

Xie Hongyi even felt something hard on his back. He wanted to ask, but did not dare to make a sound.

Huang Long who was lying behind Xie Hongyi was stiff as wood. His face flushed and his breath was a little breathless.

That night when he did it with Xie Hongyi, he was not very aware of being under the influence of a stimulant drug. But now even though he did not see it, but the voices caused by the two men made it unreasonable.

Huang Long silently rubbed his face and set his breath in order to calm down.
