17. Grief Arga

Time passed by so quickly, Veronica sat beside David, but David kept daydreaming. She constantly imagines sweet memories of being with Maya.

Realizing David thought of something Veronica called him, but David's reply surprised Veronica. How not, David accidentally called Veronica by the name of Maya.

Hearing the call, Veronica stared intently at David and looked very angry at what she was doing.

''Honey, I'm sorry. I didn't mean it that way, '' said David in a soft and regretful tone because he had called Veronica Maya.

Veronica was silent for a moment. He looked at David with anger.

''Are you in love with Maya?'' veronica asked David.

David was silent about the question. She just stared intently at Veronica as if she agreed with what Veronica asked.

Seeing her silence, Veronica got up from her seat.

''Where are you going?'' ask David to stop Veronica's move.

''For what, huh? Why am I here if the thoughts of my lover are elsewhere, FOR WHAT ? I better go, find another man more loyal than you, Veronica replied.

David's reply left Veronica very surprised. He got up from his seat and stood before Veronica.

His eyes glazed over, pleading with the lover not to leave him. However, what she did was fruitless, Veronica left David's house in anger.

Sadness is felt by him after Veronica's departure from home, but the thought of Maya continues to cross David's mind. She is confused, herself wondering this sadness is because of Maya or Veronica. He really can not think which is right and wrong, it makes David frustrated and confused determine the path of his life.

At the cemetery, Maya is next to Jack's grave by holding his tombstone. Her tears were pouring down her cheeks. He regretted what he did.

''Mrs Jack, I'm sorry. Because of me you have to be like this, I'm sorry that you can't see your sincere love. I'm sorry, because I've hurt you so much, I'm sorry, Maya said.

Tears continued to flow down his cheeks, chanting for the sake of the holy verse of the Quran read by Maya, with sadness.

Shortly after, Arga came with a photo in his hand. She walks towards Maya, but she still does not realize that the woman sitting in front of her is a woman similar to her late lover.

At that time, Arga stopped in greeting one tomb that was not far from Jack's tomb. He looked at the tomb sadly, slowly he sat down and placed the photo he held near the tombstone of his lover. Seen the photo is a photo of Arga's togetherness with her late lover.

After a while sitting next to the deceased without saying a word. Arga's tears trickled down, she held onto her lover's nisa stone lovingly.

''You know.. Today, I miss you so much. I want to see you, not just in a photo, I want to see you in my eyes for real. I rarely cry for you, but this time I want to cry for you. Why did you leave me? Don't you love me? Haah. huuuhh..'' Arga's sigh held back his sadness.

Arga is speechless.  He tried to stay strong and not cry at the tomb of his lover.

''I'm.. '' Arga stopped his words again. Suddenly the incident when he and his lover had an accident again crossed his mind.

Sadness that at that time could still be in the end, immediately evaporated. Shouts of pain and loss of love, done by Arga makes Maya who was praying, immediately silent.

Maya was saddened when she heard the words of Arga.

Arga said in a high tone and filled with tears. He fell back to his knees. He sighed with sadness by holding the lover's tombstone.

''You told me you were going to be with me, but what? What reality? The truth is you left and won't go back to my life again. Wh why? Why is it like this?'' arga said with tears.

''I don't want you to leave, I beg you. Come back to me, please.''

Maya, who does not know Arga, is silent and sad to hear what he has to say.

Maya wakes up from her seat. She wiped her tears and left the funeral.

While she is near Arga, Maya holds one of Arga's shoulders and smiles at Arga.

''He who has gone, let him go. Never you, defend his departure, because his departure is not to forget your love, but because of his departure, making his life eternal with your love, said Maya.

Hearing what Maya said, Arga fell silent. She stopped her crying and recalled when she was with her lover.

Arga and Zayra are in a restaurant. Zayra's face, which was very similar to Maya's, was sitting gracefully in a white dress. In front of him, Arga sat dashingly in a blue suit with a black pants suit.

The humming groove of romance songs is played softly, making the night a very memorable night in the life of Arga and Zayra.

Slowly, Arga grabbed Zayra's hand,

he settled Zayra's eyes lovingly.

''Thank you for being present in my life, I beg you please do not leave me, said Arga with a soft and loving.

Hearing what Arga said, Zayra returned Arga's hand by turning to hold Arga's hand affectionately.

''Why are you talking like that? You will never leave me, nor will I leave you!.''

Suddenly things returned like normal. The situation returns to the present, seen with reddened eyes Arga looks towards Maya, but too late. Maya has left him.

Realizing that, Arga got up from his seat. He looked around like he was looking for something, but what he was looking for was not found.

''That ''Tadi.. Why is his speech so similar to Zayra, who said that? Wh who? '' said Arga in confusion. He looks dizzy here and there looking for Maya.
