4. Engagement and Meeting
Jack was lying on a hospital bed, with his hands bandaged, his face pale.
Not long after, Jack woke up from his stupor. His eyes were wide when he realized he was in the hospital.
Realizing the child was conscious, Jack's father rushed over to Jack and questioned Jack with concern for Jack's condition.
He hugged Jack tightly, a happy look emanating clearly on his father's face. Then he let go of his hand
"Basic Stupid! Why would you do that? Why do you want to end your life? Do you think that when you lose you, you'll be happy, right? Do you think your life isn't important to Dad?" jack's Father's Scolding.
Hearing his father constantly nagging, Jack just smiled and tried to calm his father down.
"Dad, don't nag, this is a hospital!" jack calmed his father. Jack's father was silent for a moment, his eyes glazed over seeing his son was fine. She hugged her son tightly.
"Your life is important to Jack's father, please do not do this again. I know you're sad, but I beg you not to do this!."
"Yes Dad, I'm sorry Jack if Jack made a fatal mistake" Jack replied. After that he returned his father's embrace tightly.
Time passed so quickly, the night had arrived, seen David sitting in the park, waiting for the arrival of Maya. A few moments later, Maya arrives. He walked with a sad face. Seeing Maya's arrival, David wakes up from his seat and welcomes Maya.
"I'm sorry I asked you to come here at night like this" David said.
"No papa, what is it? Why did you call me here?" answer Maya.
David was silent for a moment, he asked Maya to sit on a chair that was near them. After the two of them sat facing each other, David held Maya's hands. At first she does not realize that Maya is still wearing her engagement ring with Jack, after she realizes. The mouth that was about to open said a word, instantly fell silent.
His eyes looked towards the ring and he slowly let go of his hand. The look on her face changes after releasing Maya's hand, Maya realizes that David saw her engagement ring with David. He hurried to hide his hand.
A heavy sigh rang out from David's mouth. His eyes did not look at Maya after seeing the ring.
"You still in love with Jack?" ask David seriously.
Maya fell silent after she heard that. He only sighed while trying to get close to David and trying to grab David's hand, but David avoided Maya.
"I'm sorry Mas, not that I'm still in love with Mas Jack. I'm just not used to taking this ring out of my hands, please do not avoid me!."
"I know I was wrong, I'm sorry. But I beg with Mas, please do not avoid me, I promise after today I will release this ring," Maya said in a low tone.
Hearing what Maya said, David again saw Maya. She hugged Maya and was very happy with what she said.
On the other hand, the close embrace that David made to her made Maya shed tears. I don't know, because of what Maya shed tears, which she clearly felt sadness when she was with the man she loved.

Time passed by so quickly, the day Maya's engagement to David arrived. The excitement was very clear, they invited important guests in the event, one of which was Jack.
That night with a smile, Maya and David stood at the shelter. David looks handsome in a black suit and white shirt, while Maya looks beautiful in a white wedding dress.
"Dad, I'm just here. Dad just go inside, I'll catch up with you later" Jack said sadly.
Jack's father was silent for a moment, he just looked at his son, he tried to calm Jack by holding one of Jack's arms affectionately.
Realizing his father was gone, Jack fell silent. His eyes were only glazed without him noticing his eyes were shedding tears.
"Yahoo!!!!" jack shouted out his sadness in front of Maya's house. Maya who was then she seemed to hear that scream. He senses Jack's presence at the event being held.
"Mas David, did you hear anything?" maya whispered to David.
"No, what did you hear? Whose voice?" answer David.
Hearing David's reply, Maya simply smiles, her eyes constantly looking towards the entrance hoping Jack comes to her engagement. Not long after, Maya saw Jack's father enter the middle of the event.
The happy face of Maya on the presence of Jack's father, he thought Jack would come along with his father. But what Maya expected did not happen.

Outside the house, Jack kept shedding tears. Moments later, a footstep approached Jack and stood near him. Seeing Jack's grief, the woman gives Jack a handkerchief and asks Jack to wipe his tears.
Looking at the handkerchief, Jack fell silent and slowly picked up the handkerchief. After taking the handkerchief, Jack looked towards the woman.
She is Veronica, a beautiful girl who intends to be present at Maya and David's engagement event.
"You who? " asked Jack after he stood in front of Veronica.
Veronica was silent for a moment, occasionally looking at Maya's house that she had decorated with flowers, lanterns and others that had been arranged neatly.
"I'm just a human like you, I'm hurt like you. I love someone whose heart does not love me" Veronica replied with teary eyes.
"Here you are, for what you weep for someone who loves you the least, forget him. Same with me, I'm trying to forget him, too" he continued.
Jack was silent, he wiped his tears with that handkerchief. Then he looked at Maya's house. He stood beside Veronica and they stared at each other towards Maya's house simultaneously.
They walk together, getting into Maya and David's engagement.
When they are in the middle of the show, Jack and Veronica walk side by side to the bridal venue to give as long as to Maya and David.
Seeing Jack's arrival, Maya looks surprised as well as happy. But it was different with David, he looked down when he saw Veronica. In addition to the two brides who were surprised by Jack's presence, his parents and the parents of the two brides looked surprised by the presence of Jack and Veronica.
When he was in front of Maya, Jack stood in front of Maya. He reached out his hand congratulating Maya and David, not only did Jack, Veronica do the same.
As the night progressed, the engagement between Maya and David was decided, it left Jack devastated. He who was then standing near his father, wordlessly rushed away from the event.
Seeing the boy leave the show, Jack's father teaches Jack where he's going.
