3. The Grief of Maya and Jack Suicide

"So you're burdened with this engagement?" ask Maya with eyes torn.

"If you're burdened, why haven't you broken off this engagement? Why?"

Hearing what Maya said, Jack held both of Maya's arms very tightly. He doesn't care, wants Maya was ever loved or not. He only vents his anger to Maya who has the heart to have an affair with David.

"You want to know, why? Why did I decide to part with you this time? Because I was a very stupid human being. I love the one who loves others."

"I love you and always love you, but you.. You just love others," continued Jack with a soft and firm.

Maya just kept quiet to hear what Jack said. His tears are flowing more and more. Seeing Maya silent, Jack pushes her until Maya is pushed a few steps ahead of Jack.

Realizing that, David gets angry and yells at Jack. He punches Jack until Jack falls to the floor by holding his cheek that receives a fist.

"Jack, you can wear him or say anything to him, but never be rude to him. If you act rudely with him, then you are dealing with me. You understand!" david said firmly.

Jack just grinned at what David said. He woke up from the fall with his evil smile, when he had already woken up from the fall, without much thought Jack hit David with all his calm.

Everyone was surprised to see that, Maya was no exception. Seeing David receiving a punch from Jack, Maya rushes over to David and shows his attention to David in front of everyone.

Jack is silent, seeing his lover care more about others, Jack realizes that what he is doing is useless. He subconsciously debates his relationship with Maya just wasting energy, because Maya will never return to him. Jack sees Maya's love for David as greater than her.

Without saying much, Jack approached Maya who was holding David. She stood before Maya with teary eyes.

"I love you, I'm sorry if I was rude. I just want to vent my frustration, after all, now everything is clear. You're not mine, and I'm not yours!" jack said sadly.

Jack held onto the ring, slowly removing the ring and giving it to Maya.

"Congratulations, may your relationship always be good!."

Everyone is silent. They only see Jack's grief without anyone trying to chase him down to comfort him. Jack is gone

with a drop of tears dripping down his eyes. Seeing his departure, not a single person stopped him.

After the incident, Maya returns home. But in his heart he felt a sense of worry. Jack's departure, it makes his life feel lonely. He only often daydreams and thinks about Jack's departure.

In the room, Maya is standing by the window, she is silent with her eyes staring out the window. Her eyes slowly sidetracked as she looked at her engagement ring with Jack still coiled around her finger.

"I am the Traitor, my true love is reciprocated by an ambiguous plot. Nowow.. Now I feel there's a worry in my heart, there's a sadness that's out of nowhere. Huuh, I guess the story is over after that farewell. However, what I was thinking was not a real estimate. I realized that this was the beginning of my relationship. Relationship of the traitor! I love, but I betray!." Maya said in her heart.

Eyes glazed. Whether he realized it or not, his tears slowly dripped and fell on his hands. Noticing her tears falling, she wiped them off and looked back out the window.

Moments later, her mother came with a tray containing dishes that had been filled with rice and side dishes. He put a tray on the table near the bed. Realizing her son is daydreaming, Maya's mother approaches Maya and stands nearby. She looks towards her son by lovingly holding Maya's shoulder.

Maya just kept quiet, hearing what her mother said. She looked at her mother with tears.

"Ma, I'm not contemplating. I was just confused by my feelings, I betrayed Mas Jack, but I was also the one who got hurt. I betrayed people to love me, but I felt, what I did to Mas Jack would be repeated to me!."

"Suutt, don't talk like that. I am sure that your choice is the best. I'm sure David wouldn't do anything to hurt you, I'm sure of it!."

Maya sighed, she rushed to hug her mother. Her tears were shed in her mother's arms.

"I'm sorry Mama if Mama blames you, mama just wants you to realize your mistake and not repeat it again. Enough Jack that you hurt isn't with another man." Maya replied with a nod.

Jack was lying on the bed with a knife nearby. His wrists were bleeding from clothes and mattresses.

Jack couldn't say a word. He was just silent with teary eyes with the occasional drop of tears streaming down his eyes.

Not long after, Jack's father came. He knocked on the door, but there was no response from Jack in the room.

"Jack, I know you're sad. But I beg you, please get out of the room. We ate, you haven't eaten from yesterday" Jack's father persuaded, but there was still no response from Jack.

Jack's father's worries become more and more when Jack really has no news in his room. Something happened to Jack. His mixed feelings, making Jack's father rushed to break down the door of the room.

When the door was opened, he was very surprised because he saw his only child lying covered with blood on the bed. Seeing his son Jack's father was surprised and rushed over to Jack.

Realizing his son's life is in danger, Jack's father unthinkingly picks Jack up and takes Jack to the hospital.

Along the way to the hospital, Jack's father is very worried about Jack's circumstances. He kept calling Jack's name, but Jack didn't respond.

Not long after, Jack's father arrived at the hospital. When they got out of the car, some sisters greeted them with hospital beds. They put Jack in bed and took Jack to the emergency room.

When Jack's father was in front of the ER, one of the sisters forbade Jack's father to enter the room. He asked Jack's father to wait outside. Jack's father refused, but over time he accepted the decision from the nurse and advised the sister, so that the nurse would save her child.

At home Maya sits in her room facing a mirror that stands firmly in front of her. She looked at her beautiful face, yet her eyes were describing the sadness that out of nowhere the sadness came from.

"What's wrong with me? Why am I feeling sad? " he said by talking to himself. Her eyes continued to look at her shadow who was still wearing her engagement ring with Jack.

"Why with me? Why is it so hard to let go of this ring? Why?"

Sadness continues to be seen in Maya's face, she feels something is imprinting in her heart, but she does not know what happened to her.
