irvan and Arum entered the Grand Mosque through Babussalam's door. God's House. A place where Muslims all over the world crave it. The place that was once full of idols and the youth of Ibrahim destroyed it. I Also the place where Siti Hajar ran from the hill of Sofa to Marwah because her son, Ismail, was thirsty. Then the magical baby moved his legs and a spring appeared that was not devoured by the times: zamzam.
"Allahu Akbar!" Arum.
"Like a dream!" Irvan was moved. The feather stands. Body vibrates.
"Yes, like a dream!" Arum. For him it was like a dream. Everything feels so fast. Who would have guessed that suddenly her husband invited her to Umrah! No wind no Umrah rain!
"See that!" Irvan pointed to the sky, disperse his reverie.
Arum.
Now look at that miracle! In the past, they only heard from neighbors who had gone for Hajj. Now, that miracle was actually happening before his eyes! A flock of doves flew into the mosque area. But, as soon as it was about to be on the Kaaba, the birds swooped down. Poultry is like understanding that the sky above the Kaaba is a sacred place!
"Thank you, Mom, for this happiness!" arum's pale face was adorned with a smile.
"Thank God" Irvan smiled and was concerned at his wife's condition. "You still strong?"
Arum nodded, "God willing."
"Come on, we're thawaf!" Irvan pulled his arm. Arum followed her husband's footsteps into the courtyard. During the Hajj season, this place is crowded with tens of millions of pilgrims from all over the world. But now, it's not so dense. Arum since from home want to pray sunnah in Hijr Ismail. It is said that if you can pray sunnah in that place, the reward is the same as praying in the Kaaba!
Irvan tells Arum to walk in front of her. Irvan protected him from behind, so that other Umrah pilgrims did not nudge him. Arum felt how much her husband loved her. She knew her husband wanted to give her as much happiness as possible before death picked her up.
The sky above the Kaaba is not so stinging. Friendliest. In fact, the wind blows softly, soothing those who are thawaf. They also did thawaf, walked by the stream, circled the Kaaba seven times. They were in the current of people dressed in ihram, seemingly enjoying this ritual process. When in the second round, Irvan invites Arum to approach Hajar Aswad. Irvan protected his wife in order to hold the black stone from heaven. Even kissed. This is the Sunnah of the Prophet. In the past, Prophet Muhammad also kissed this black stone.
That said, this stone from heaven once fell from its place because Ka bah was hit by a flood. Then, every tribe disputed, who is worthy to keep back the black stone. They were noisier and there was no meeting point. Everyone felt that his joy was the one most entitled to keep the stone. Finally it was decided, whoever first came to the Kaaba at dawn, he was the one who had the right to keep back the stone. Then it proved, the kind and honest young man, Muhammad, who first came to the dawn Kaaba. But the young Muhammad was very wise. Spread out its victims. The black stone was placed in the middle of the attack. The youth of Muhammad had each chieftain hold the tip of the turban and lift it. Then Muhammad took the stone
and put it back in its place how happy everyone is! Such was Muhammad, before becoming a prophet, since his youth was already famous for his wisdom.
Irvan and Arum now stand exactly inches from the house of God. They walked to the front door. Hajar Aswad now wanted them to embrace with joy. Irvan groped Hajar Aswad. They dissolved, alternately, hugging and kissing Hajar Aswad. They seem to be unsatisfied. Some people are waiting their turn. They wake up and move aside, giving others a chance.
They're back to finishing the thawaf. In the fifth round, they alternately prayed the Sunnah at Hijr Ismail. Jostling, but not as difficult as during the season. After that, they circled the Kaaba again twice. After the thawaf, they diverted to the zamzam water. Drinking water through the faucet.
"I should have taken a hajj. Not umrah!" Arum washed his face with zamzam water. The suffering of Siti Hajar loomed in her eyes. A panicked mother seeks water in the desert because her baby is thirsty. By the power of God, the fountain is blown out of the place where the baby's legs move!
"Now, the umrah was first," Irvan also washed her face with zamzam water. "God willing, the time will come later" he smiled.
"But, I promise you I'll say something. Go, bullshit! I can't wait to hear it. Seems serious. What's up, anyway? It can really be discussed at home. Not bad, the money can be saved for the Hajj next year."
Irvan looked back at him. His face looked serious. He invites Arum to go up to the second floor. Looking for a rather quiet place. He stood measuring the angle between Hajar Aswad and the door of the Kaaba. He tried to suppose that where he was, if drawn a diagonal line, was still included in the territory of Multazam. Wilavah Multazam, a place that Muslims believe to be a potent place to pray, can facilitate all his affairs. That said, according to people's stories, many Indonesian artists pray in this place to immediately get a mate!
"Here?" Arum asked for certainty.
"Yes, about here! God willing!"
Arum also thought. In front of him lay the Kaaba. He stood up with an indescribable feeling: haru and happy. Again, he was unsure! Who would have thought that Arum was now in the house of God? Like lightning in broad daylight, suddenly after work, Irvan invited him to Umrah. Arum did not believe it at first. But she was vakin, her husband brought her here to make her happy.
"Mas" Arum's lips looked blue and dry,
"there's more to it than just Umrah, right?" aim Arum.
"Here we go, we worship first. God willing, this is Multazam. Let's pray, ask God for forgiveness." Irvan began to lower her head and raise both of her hands.
Arum just resigned to see her husband recite.
"O Allah" whispered Arum in his heart, "all I have left to You. You know what has happened, is happening, and will happen. I ask for Your protection, O God. Give the best to us, our families, our children. O God, Most High, I take refuge in You for what is my husband's secret. I love him, O God, and allow that love because of You."
Irvan wiped away the tear drops on Arum's cheek. Arum opened his eyes, seeing her husband looking at her with a smile. Soon there were his eyes and cheeks. After praying, the burden on his chest felt lighter. Before, everything was like a puzzle to him.
"There must be another reason. Yeah, right, Mas?" Mimik Arum's face asked for an explanation.
Irvan. He's nodding. "Yes, there's another reason" he said seriously.
"What?"
"We'll just talk there. In front of the Kaaba."
"Why should I go there?"
"I want us to talk about it there. In front of Ka bah. In the house of God. Perhaps that place will bring us grace."
"Good to us?"
Irvan walked over to their bed. He pecked his forehead Early, the first child, who is now approaching the age of four years. Then fixed the location of the blanket Early. A mosquito attached to the arm Dini, had patted it gently. "Sleep well, Dini. Have a beautiful dream," whispered Irvan in Early ear. There was a feeling of happiness mixed with haru, as he was peeping his forehead. "You're beautiful like your mother" he praised Dini's face.
The dawn squirms on his bed. The three-year-old boy was like asking to be treated the same by his father. Irvan smiled and approached Dawn. The hair of Dawn. He fixed the sleeping position of Dawn, which was on the edge of the bed. "Papa's tired feeling is always lost when he sees you. I don't think you'll be replaced by anything" he murmured.
Irvan did not realize that Arum was standing at the door of the room. Arum listened to all the muttering of her husband. How happy Arum feels, seeing her husband is very loving to the child. Arum felt that it was not in vain to have conceived, given birth, and cared for Dini and Dawn.
"Are you ready to listen?" Irvan breaks her daydream.
Arum jerks. His face is getting pale. She's feeling nervous. The sky of the Kaaba was faintly gray. Heart's pounding. She held her husband's arm. She felt very scared, like she was about to lose her husband. "Want to leave Arum?" tanyanya.
"Mas isn't going anywhere. I'm always by your side" Irvan smiled.
"Lantas, what do you want to talk about?"
"You're so pale. As soon as we get to the hospital."
"Even if it's time, Arum wants to be here. In the house of God. Being in Mas' lap." Arum's restless. "Come, Mas, say... "
"Bismilahbornrahmanirrahim..."Irvan strengthened her heart.
Now, Arum's heart is beating!
"I'm sorry, yeah...I don't want any slander between us. That is why, Mas brought you here, to umrah. Perhaps in this holy and barakah-filled place, we are given grace and guidance by God... "
"What's up, Mom?" Arum was impatient.
"Mas ask for your sincerity. "
"Have you ever felt that Arum was never sincere?"
"Alhamdulillah. During this time, Mas always get your sincerity as a wife. Especially your sincerity to take care of the sick Father at home," Irvan grasped his wife's hand with affection.
"It's our duty as children, Mas. Father is old. Anyway, no, Mom. Before we got married, Mas would have talked with Arum that if Arum accepted Mas's proposal, it means Arum also must want to accept the Father to live with us."
Irvan nodded.
"But what you want to talk about now isn't about you, is it?"
"Mas accepted your offer"
Arum's pale face suddenly turned luminous. "Subhanallah," his lips moved weakly. The sky of the Kaaba is no longer gray. Everything's bright.
"I'm sorry. As you once suggested, now Mas wants to. get married lag..."
The words that came out of her husband's mouth were like cold water dousing his thirst. It felt very painful the first time, but so on it made a relief! Her husband asked her permission to remarry! Did he not hear wrong? Her husband wants to have a second wife He will be combined, when death is so near! Really it? There will be a new wife who will take her place on the children's side! But, don't children need the presence of a mother more than the ego of having a full husband?
Arum felt his eyes warm.
"I'm sorry. It's really hard for me. But, it's true you said, after you've died, Dawn and Dini must have someone to take care of."
"Do you know who it is, Mom?" There was tension in Arum's voice.
"People you know well, who we believe can take good care of Dini and Dawn," Irvan stroked his wife's cheeks gently. "Mas chooses Tuti "
"Tutis... Arum remembered the name even more. The pain made him think slowly. Arum held his stubborn head that felt like it was going to explode.
"Tuti, the children's teacher...." Irvan blocked Arum's arm. "Taste again?"
"Subhanallah... Tuti. I remember, Mas. Poor him. We must protect him from slander. Widow, barren, ah... I really chose it.." Arum smiled. He knows exactly who Tuti is. His heart was relieved. Insha Allah, Dini and Dawn will have a new patient mother. "God.." Arum groaned while still holding his head.
"Rosephhar, Arum. Remember God. La ilaha..." Irvan hugs Arum's weak body. Thayyibah whispered in Arum's ear. He felt Arum's breath sting. Irvan looked at his wife's face.
"Titip kids, Mas . Take care..." Arum closed his eyes heavily. "La ilaha illallah..," whispered Irvan repeatedly. Irvan stared at Arum's lips following his sentence. Irvan powerless to see Arum sakaratul death, Irvan continued to whisper in Arum's ear until he could not hear his sigh.
Irvan closed both of his wife's eyes. The face she loved.
"Allah..," whispered Irvan. "Take Arum with You, Rabbi. "
Suddenly under the sky of the Kaaba there was a light darting into the air.
