Rio met Amanda.

Today Rio decided not to enter the office. Fortunately Ardan gave permission because indeed today there is nothing too 'urgent' to do.

Early in the morning Rio was already on the highway, driving his car splitting the still quiet morning towards Bekasi, according to the address given by the television yesterday.

"Hopefully today I can meet and bring them home with me," Rio, closed his eyes at a glance, then exhaled into the air, hoping that all his burden would be wasted along with the wasted breath.

An hour more has passed. Now Rio was right in front of a simple house. The house that Amanda occupied. In front of the house, there was a steling that read 'available rice and lontong', a sign that the owner of the house in his daily life, selling breakfast. However, this morning it looks like Amanda is not selling, because the steling looks empty and the door of the house still looks closed.

Rio knocked on the door and said his greetings repeatedly. But there was no sign anyone would open the door.

"Who are you looking for, sir?" Rio squealed in shock upon hearing the voice of someone suddenly greeting him from behind. Rio stroked his chest and developed a smile on his lips as soon as the one who greeted him was the person he wanted to meet, Amanda.

"I want to meet Amanda's mom. I thought mom was inside, I thought I knocked on her door many times no one opened the door" Rio said after neutralizing his shock.

"I was dropping off the school kids, sir." Rio nodded his head, with his mouth forming the letter 'o'.

"What do you need, you're looking for me?"Amanda looked at Rio with a probing gaze as well as looking at Rio's face that she seemed familiar with.

"Can we go in for a moment and talk inside?" asked Rio who already felt a soreness in his legs.

"Oh yes, sorry! sorry, could you step aside for a second? I open the door first."

Amanda stepped near the door and opened it. "Please enter sir! and please sit down! sorry, as it were."

"It's okay!" Rio landed his body sitting on the wooden chair that already looked alarming.

"I'll go back, sir, make a drink first!" Amanda stepped back.

"No need to bother Amanda's mother." chirped Rio who made Amanda, stop stepping into the kitchen and come land her body sitting in front, Rio.

"So, what do you need to look for me?" without further ado, Amanda immediately threw back the question she had asked earlier when outside.

"Emm, actually I want __"

"Wait on! looks like your face is no stranger, have we met before?" Amanda interrupted Rio's speech, though,

"Yes, I'm Rio. We met when Mr. Ardan and I came to your workplace with Jasmine first,"

"Oh yes, if not wrong, this father is an assistant from Mr. Ardan, CEO, Bagaskara Company," said Amanda was surprised and increasingly curious why big people like Rio looking for him.

Rio smiled with a nodding head, confirming. "Actually I'm here to ask Amanda's mother for help, to tell me where Jasmine's address is?"

"I'm her husband!" Amanda gasped in shock with enlarged eyes, not expecting her best friend to be married to a man known to be imaginary as Ardan's right hand.

"Oh, so you're the one. Why are you looking for Jasmine again? dan, wait! no, you're divorced? why do you still say you're her husband?" lecar Amanda.

"Who said we're divorced? I never signed the divorce papers she left behind. And why am I looking for him? yes, because I want to bring my wife and children home. I hope you'll help me, Miss Amanda," Rio's words startle Amanda even more and more confident that there's something Jasmine has hidden from her.

"Make what? don't you ever love her? so, forget that I'll be willing to help you." Amanda said coldly.

"It's purely just a misunderstanding, Ms. Amanda. I don't not love him. Honestly I've been feeling lost since he left, so I beg for your help this time." please Rio with a clear face, leaving Amanda a little touched.

"Jasmine said, you love other women, and you've been trying to find other women all this time, is that true?" scowl Amanda again, with a probing look.

"That's where the misunderstanding is. If it's about looking for women ... it's true.But, the woman I'm looking for is not the woman I love, but the woman Mr. Ardan ordered me to look for, which until now I have not been able to find either," Rio explained with a face that turned increasingly sad.

Amanda was stunned with eyes that stared intensely at Rio, looking for the truth in every remark that the man had just thrown. Amanda closed her eyes at a glance then let out a long sigh. "All right, I'll tell you where Jasmine is now. But first, I want you to also tell me, how can you two get married? whereas Jasmine said, there was no love between the two of you, and even you were not betrothed either," Amanda thought this was an opportunity for her, to uncover her curiosity regarding the reason for Jasmine's marriage.

"Did Jasmine not tell you that?" Amanda shook her head in response to Rio's question.

"Actually the one who was betrothed to Jasmine was Ardan.At first Jasmine refused, until she ran away from home. Don't you know that Jasmine is Johan Mahendra's daughter?"

Netra Amanda grew up, gasping for this new reality she knew. " What crazy thing are you talking about? Jasmine's? the daughter of Mr Johan Mahendra? isn't Johan Mahendra the owner of the Mahendra group?" Amanda leaned her body, limp as soon as she saw Rio nod, confirming.

"Because of wanting to help you back then, Jasmine finally agreed to an arranged marriage with Ardan. But it was precisely at that time that Ardan did not want to be betrothed again to Jasmine. When we came to the workplace of the two of you back then, Ardan just wanted to ask Jasmine for an explanation, why she was finally willing to be reunited with him." Rio's words increasingly made Amanda's chest feel tight, hearing Jasmine's sacrifice to him.

"Jasmine said to her papa, back then if you were in trouble because your parents were sick and needed a lot of money, how are your parents doing now?" amanda's tears suddenly seeped down her cheeks. Not because of Rio's question but because of hearing the reality, that Jasmine was also trying to cover up her disgrace from the people.

"My father died three years ago, now there's only my stepmother" Amanda said honestly. Yeah, three years ago, Amanda had a heart attack when she discovered that Amanda had a child without a husband.

"I'm sorry I made you sad!" there was guilt on Rio's face, seeing Amanda crying.

"It's okay! now can you explain, why isn't Jasmine and Mr. Ardan married? why are you two?"
