"Ma, please don't cry anymore. Mama must be strong. Anin's a strong boy, Ma. Aby was sure that she would recover. If Anin sees mom sad like this, Anin will be sadder Ma." said Aby, comforting Amanda, as well as comforting herself.

"Now you tell me, where is your ex-husband? let me drag him here myself!" chirped Ardan with clenched hands, furious.

Amanda looked at Ardan. He wanted to tell her what was really going on, but his lips felt faint. There were many considerations and fears that he had in mind, if he were to tell the truth. Amanda was afraid that if the Bagaskara family knew the truth, the family would label her as a cheap woman, so she could have been kicked out of the Bagaskara company. If that happens, how will he be able to finance Anin's treatment which is certainly very large.

"Why are you silent? don't you want our daughter to be healed?" ardan's increasingly desperate behavior makes Amanda feel desperate.

Amanda did not answer. He was busy circulating his gaze in all directions, trying to remember what had happened to him.

"Jas, why am I here? what's going on?" ask Amanda lirih.

"So you passed out, and Ardan was very panicked and Ardan was holding you here."

Amanda instantly frowned, staring in disbelief at the remark Jasmine had just made.

"Where is he now? have they gone home yet? and how's Anin now?" Amanda wanted to get out of bed, to go to see her daughter.

"You calm down, Nda! now Ardan is accompanying Anin.You know for yourself that the room PICU (Pediatric intensive care unit), must always be calm and should not be visited by many people. So, let Ardan be there to accompany. Later when Ardan is out, you take turns" said Jasmine while helping Amanda to lie back down.

Amanda, looked at Jasmine with a sad look on her face. "Jas, I thought I thought I was just a dream. It turns out all this really happened. I don't know anymore, can I be strong against all this? Jas, I've never done anything bad to anyone, but why do I have to go through all this?" tears that had dried up now re-seep wet Amanda's face.
