Apologies

Asyifa looked at the back of the man she still loved so much to this day with a longing gaze. He wanted to run and let himself be in the arms that he loved so much.

William, aware of the arrival of Ashifa and Zidan and his two companions, immediately stood up to greet them. He awkwardly, threw a smile but no one replied.

"Hi all. Sorry for coming all of a sudden and interrupting your show"

"It's good that you're self-conscious. What else do you need with Asyifa to come here without informing, make people bother!" gerutu Mira cynical.

William saw the interaction of the two people before him, feeling a slight pain in his heart. He also desperately wanted to be able to re-treat Asyifa as Zidan did to the girl, but William was well aware that it was impossible to do that again.

Before leaving, Zidan threw a threatening look at William. As if from that gaze, he wanted to tell William not to make Asyifa sad again and if that happened, then Zidan himself would teach him a proper lesson.

"Just calm down, I'm not going to hurt him like last time we met" William said, trying to convince Zidan.

After Zidan left, Ashifa wanted to sit in the seat opposite William. As vigorously as possible, he tried to make himself not show any feelings towards the man.

For some reason, seeing William's pitiful figure in front of him, made Asyifa's heart slightly hurt. It felt like he was asking what happened to the man, so that his face could be injured at this time and whether he felt tired during the trip here.

"Don't look at me like that Asyifa, I'm fine. It's just a small wound, because it accidentally fell while in a hurry to come see you"

"What do you want to talk to me about, to come all the way here?" asyifa asked with a slightly trembling voice holding back the cries.

He deliberately did not respond to William's explanation, to show that he no longer cared about what happened to the man. Asyifa did not want William to know about her true feelings.

"So you came all the way here to see me, just to make me see you in your wedding attire, did you?" ask Asyifa who immediately became angry because she felt herself back to being played by William.

"Actually I don't want to show you, even just a few hours ago I thought we wouldn't be able to see each other again. I even thought, I would really be the husband of another woman whom I don't love at all, and wouldn't be able to have the chance to get back near you"

"If you just want to talk about nonsense, you better stop right now. I don't have much time to spare to listen to your story, about your wedding!" break up Asyifa was upset while getting up from her seat.

"I've known about everything that's really happened all this time, Asyifa"

Hearing William's words, Asyifa who originally wanted to leave the man, fell silent where she stood. He became very curious to know what happened after that man, after knowing the truth.

"Are you okay?" asked Asyifa inexplicably, while looking at William's concerned face.

"Jeez Asyifa, why are you this good? You can still think about how I feel after what I did to you. Compared to my family, I'm worse at not trusting you, and instead accusing you of doing things you didn't do. Even I cut off contact with you just like that without wanting to solve all the problems between us. Can't you just get mad or beat me up?" william said at length, while hiding his face because he felt very embarrassed.

"I'm really angry and disappointed in you, Will. But compared to me, you must be more hurt by being hurt by people who are very close and very trusting"

"I even wanted to jump off the balcony to end my own life so as not to marry Zenith. But they didn't even think about my feelings in the slightest, and continued to do everything they could to get their shared desire for my life accomplished"

Time passed by a few minutes in silence between the two. Only the frenzied sounds of the people around them were heard.

"I want to apologize to you, Ashifa. I'm sorry for all the mistakes I've done to you, I really regret everything"

"At first it feels very painful but slowly everything can improve over time. But when I look at you again, the pain comes back without me preventing it. I also feel a little bad about you, because when I heard that you already knew the truth, the pain in my heart instantly disappeared"

"Why do you have to feel bad about me?" william did not understand the meaning of Ashifa.

"My color I know right, that knowing the truth means you fall into pain. But I feel detached from all my hurt feelings towards you"

"I have no problem at all, Ashifa. I mean it" said William sincerely while smilingly looking at Asyifa.

"That's why I feel guilty too. But William, I want you to know that I've forgiven you for everything that's happened. So you don't have to feel guilty for me"

"Although I've forgiven you, but I want you to know that the relationship between us, can't go back to how it used to be. I hope you understand"

"I understand Asyifa, I can't possibly ask for more. You forgive me, it's more than enough to make me feel better. Again thank you, Ashifa"

"If I wanted to be your friend, would that be possible? Can I text you or call you as a friend? If that's excessive, just say it. I'll take it"

"Of course you can, William. I don't want to break the good relationship between us. Even if we don't become lovers, it doesn't matter if we become friends?"

The two then throw each other a smile of friendship, as a beginning to start a new relationship.

"That's Angel, Mira. William only stayed a few days because he wanted to avoid his family.There is no need to be fussed like that" said Asyifa trying to explain the situation William to his two friends.

Zidan, who was walking next to William, looked at the man with a clear dislike. Feeling noticed, William turned his head back towards Zidan.

"I really came here, just to apologize to Asyifa. No more, so don't look at me with that kind of look"

"You didn't keep your promise, according to what we've agreed to together!" whispered Zidan annoyed.

"Alright, I'll also apologize to you for that. But I can't just let it pass without apologizing to Asyifa. I also need a place to escape for a while, so please understand"

"See if you use the time while you're here to try to get back to Asyifa!"
