The atmosphere of the house so crowded makes Amira not focus on writing. He had tried to concentrate but the sound outside still disturbed his concentration. He put down his phone and pulled the blanket. It is better to sleep than to concentrate, but you cannot.

Just pulling the blanket, a voice from outside stopped him.

“Amira!”

That's her mother-in-law's voice. Amira immediately put on the hijab and approached her mother-in-law.

“Iya, Mum.” He answered when he arrived before his mother-in-law.

“Riska wants to drink tea.” Said her mother-in-law.

Withholding her annoyance, Amira went into the kitchen. He made tea with a pouting face because Riska was no longer a child to serve. He's already in second grade high school. He could make his own tea. Later, Amira is married to Devan not to be a maid for Devan's nieces.

Yep. Riska is the granddaughter of her mother-in-law who often stays at her mother-in-law's house. Amira was actually just having fun if they gathered there. Just don't bother him if there's any desire.

After all, Amira had prepared food in the kitchen. If you want something else, do it yourself.

However, being new to the family, Amira complies first.

Amira puts the tea in front of Riska and then moves back to her room. He will continue his delayed sleep. However, the idea in his brain resurfaced. Soon he took the phone and started stringing words into sentences, sentences into paragraphs, and it became a chapter of a story.

Amira drifts away in writing it until she does not realize that Devan is already in front of her.

“Check again?” said Devan menci*m his wife's forehead.

“Eh, mass. Sorry, Amira doesn't know if you've come.” Amira put down her phone.

“You eat now?” he continued to get ready to wake up.

“Let's go, deh. I want to be here first with you.”

After saying that, Devan lay down next to his wife. Amira understands Devan's intentions. He shifted the bolster that had been in his embrace ever since.

Azan Ashar wakes up a couple who are fast asleep. They took turns bathing before performing their duty to the Lord.

Devan took a shower first. After taking a bath, Devan saw his wife go back to sleep. He could not wake her. Devan performed the Ashar prayer himself without waiting for his wife.

Amira opened her eyes. He found Devan in the middle of Salat by the bedside. He soon wakes up to take a bath and curses Devan who is not waiting for him.

“You didn't wake me.” Amira pursed her lips. He just finished taking a shower and Devan was fiddling with the phone.

“I pity you perfectly.” Devan.

Amira only pursed her lips and took her face to carry out her duties.

After Salat, Devan and Amira head to the kitchen for lunch. Uh. No longer is lunch the name, but lunch because it is now, no longer lunch time.

Amira and Devan are alone. They enjoyed the food in front of them. After eating, as usual Amira will wash the dirty dishes that have been used.

No chance to talk to his family. Amira enters the room after she finishes washing dishes. He was too reluctant to join those who did not want him to exist.

Devan only hopes, Devan immediately invite him to move from his parents' house. Although there Devan as a biological child, but the personality of Devan who does not want to argue with his parents makes Devan always silent with what happened. Devan's silence, backfired for Amira who is always insinuated.

Devan worked as a first-grade teacher at the elementary school where they lived. Every day, Devan will leave in the morning. Sometimes, he doesn't eat breakfast sometimes, but more because he's coming home at nine. At the latest half ten.

“Mas, yes ...”

“Udah, don't think about.”

Devan interrupted Amira's unfinished speech. Devan knows what Amira will discuss. Surely, his wife was going to discuss the matter so Devan interrupted him.

Amira only breathed out to hear Devan interrupt her unfinished speech. Always so, every time she wants to tell her husband, Devan always interrupts or is busy with his cell phone without caring about Amira who wants to tell him like a husband and wife.

However, Amira remains patient even though Devan is always like that. You could say, during their marriage, never once talked seriously about their household in the future. Every time Amira starts that discussion, Devan will say there is no need to think about what has not arrived.

That sentence had always been Devan's answer when Amira started a serious conversation with him.

Once Amira thought, Devan does not love her. But, Devan's treatment of her doesn't show Devan dislikes her. When Amira is sick, Devan is always nearby. In fact, when Amira cannot sleep at night, Devan faithfully accompanies her.

“Mas, I'm going to mom's house, can you?” ask Amira carefully.

For a few days he did not go to his parents' house. His longing for the woman who has given birth to him needs to be treated. Not only his mother, but Amira misses his father. Whenever he hurt Devan, he would always think of his father.

Amira feels sincere love from her father even though the man never once said love and regret to Amira. However, Amira could feel that affection.

When Amira married, her father was not willing to give up his responsibilities to others. He still wanted to keep Amira in his hands. However, his father could not forbid his wife's desire to immediately marry Amira to Devan.

Since before the marriage contract was held, Amira's father's eyes glazed over. The eyes seemed to indicate sadness and happiness to see the child he used to always pamper, he always asked the news if far away, always he treated when sick, always, now it will be taken by the man he will call son-in-law.

Not only was Amira's father sad, but Amira was also very sad at her wedding. Besides because he has not been able to move on with his ex-lover, he also still wants to spoiled his father.

When off, Amira will spend her time off in her hometown with her parents. At home, Amira was always considered a child by her father. In fact, the motorbike beside the house was his father did not let Amira take it out herself. I still consider Amira a child, but Amira is very independent because at work, she always does it herself.

Remembering that, Amira shed tears in silence. He didn't want Devan to know he was crying. If you knew, Devan wouldn't care either. Whether that's how Devan lets me calm down, or he doesn't care because he doesn't want to know what makes Amira sad.

“Bby. Motor lock is in regular place.” Devan said without taking his eyes off the flat object.

“No need, mas. I'm on foot.” Amira wears her hijab.

Actually, she wanted Devan to drive her but Amira said she had to talk to Devan. Devan is no one else. She is her own husband.

“Ya udah.” Devan's short answer added to Amira's heartache. However, he held it.

Before leaving the house, Amira looks at her phone first. There is a notification from the writing application. There are likes and comments in his writing. Amira smiled, but did not reply to the comment. Let him return when he is at his mother's house.
