Chapter 3. Resuming Travel

After obtaining the wolf king's gemstone, Fan Tian immediately walked away from the place in search of another safe and comfortable place he could occupy to rest, what else had he expended not a little qi energy while fighting.

"As I continue my journey, I will take the time to take every resource I will encounter in order to be used as a potion to restore my energy that has just been drained." Fan Tian thought before resting and meditating.

He also wears several tree trunks that he can use to protect his body to be safe from wild creatures while doing meditation.

After the next day, Fan Tian resumed his journey while doing what he had planned last night.

Until finally he was able to gather the ingredients he wanted to concoct a potion that could quickly restore his qi energy.

Fan Tian delayed his journey and started concocting the potions he wanted.

There were some herbs that he found also along the forest that he went through, although with a quality that is not high but still very good if mixed with other ingredients.

After he finished making the potion, Fan Tian immediately drank it and immediately meditated to absorb the essence contained in it.

Fan Tian began to clean every position the skeleton was in and found one of the skeletons wrapped in a cloth that was none other than his father's clothes.

The journey continued until they arrived at the place where the two of them were hiding.

He went back on his way to arrive at the last place he remembered, which was on the edge of a very deep abyss where he had fallen.

Fan Tian did not find any human skeletons in that place.

Now he tries to think positively and hope his brother still lives after the incident they experienced at that time.

Fan Tian took all day to arrive at Miao village which was also the main road for everyone from the northern area to head to Guangfu city which was still 20 miles away.

Upon entering the village, since it was already night time, Fan Tian immediately looked for an inn so that he could spend the night there.

"Welcome sir! Would you like to stay at our place?" Greet a gentleman.

"Yes, please prepare a room for me." Fan Tian replied.

"Good! Please master finish the rent first." Reply to the old man while pointing Fan Tian at the cashier table.

Fan Tian immediately took out a few pieces of silver and immediately paid the rent for the room he ordered.

The old man immediately drove him to a room that was ready to be used.

"Please prepare the best wine in your place!" Shouted a man who was burly and looked very fierce.

"Boss, it looks like the young man has enough money for himself..what if we tell him to give the money he has!?" Said one of the men next to him.

The sharp eyes of the burly man immediately stared in full search at Fan Tian who was none other than the leader of the newly arrived group.

"Mayo also have your idea...ayo, what are you waiting for!? Just do it!" His order.

"Hey you! Stop that!"

Fan Tian who had just returned wanted to step his feet after gazing towards the group, felt surprised by the sound of that shout. But he acted as if he did not hear it and continued his footsteps.

Are you deaf!?"

"Better I hurry up to avoid them, otherwise, surely I will get into trouble." Thought Fan Tian who kept walking and did not care about the sound of the shout.

"Ohhh, so you want to test my patience? All right, feel this!" Shouted the man as he darted and unsheathed his sword.

The man's actions were immediately followed also by the three people who were his comrades.

Out of fear, the old man who originally wanted to deliver Fan Tian to the room that the young man was going to occupy, immediately dodged and left him.

Getting an attack, Fan Tian immediately turned around to look at the direction of the attack in order to avoid it.

Fan Tian also started jumping from the left side as well as the other side in order to avoid the stabbing attacks as well as the slashing sword figure that attacked him.

"Sir master! What wrong? Why are you attacking me?" Words were coming out of Fan Tian's mouth while dodging the attack.

"That's because you didn't heed my call!" Answer the man who attacked him.

Fan Tian kept running to be able to dodge the attacks of the four figures who wanted to kill him.

Damage began to occur in the inn as a result of the slashes of swords and machete belonging to the four people who attacked Fan Tian.

Finally Fan Tian ran towards someone wearing all black clothes with a caping hat and a sword was on the table in front of him.

As Fan Tian passed by the figure, suddenly the bodies of the two figures who were about to pass through the figure immediately fell to the floor.

"Suckers! Who are you to dare to interfere in our affairs? Do you want to die too!?" Shouted a man who had initially fallen down and returned to his feet.

Just the moment it made the other two figures startled and immediately set their eyes towards the figure sitting quietly.

The three figures who had originally attacked Fan Tian, now immediately turned their attention and began to attack the seated figure.

The figure still remained seated quietly and began to dodge the attacks of the three figures while fending them off with the sword that had already been plucked from its scabbard.

The table in front of the figure was immediately shattered by the attacks of the three figures.

"Hmmmphh, it seems like he is a swordsman who has high martial arts, I should go to help them." Murmured the burly figure who was the leader of the group.

"Let's help them!" Said the leader invites the other two figures while darting and preparing to swing his machete.

"How dare it be a wiggle! Is this just what you are capable of!?" Said the figure demeaning his opponent.
