Chapter 7. Escorting

After the three arrived at Xiangcheng city, they immediately headed to one of the residences that looked very mega.

The residence belonged to one of the city's wealthy families. The intended entourage that would be escorted by Chen Zhu and the other two figures.

At the gate of the residence were two soldiers standing guard.

A little while later, a man wearing silk clothes came out of the pavilion followed by the soldier who delivered them.

After two hours of sailing, arriving from a distance saw several smaller boats that could be boarded dozens of people look like they are approaching them.

"Boyr Chen, it looks like some of those small boats belong to pirates who often hijack the ships that sail here.we should be prepared to drive them away." The ship owner.

"Zhu! Quickly raise the banner of our sect!" Chen Song's orders.

"Leader! Isn't that the banner of one of the Zhenwu sect heroes!?" Said a pirate while pointing towards the ship he was referring to.

The leader immediately raised one of his hands to signal the other boats to stop.

"Are we going to cancel our plans?" Ask a man who is the vice-chairman.

"It looks like we're going to be hard to get hold of the things on that ship."

"Why does the leader say that? Is there something wrong with our plan this time?" Ask the deputy again.

"Who's in charge of overseeing and studying their powers?" Ask the leader.

"I'm in charge of collecting information about the passengers on that ship." Answer a pirate.

"Let's see that fluttering banner! Who's the banner!?" Said the leader.

"That's.it belongs to the Zhenwu sect." Reply subordinate.

"You take a good look at that banner!" The leader's orders again.

"That banner belongs to one of the seven heroes of the Zhenwu sect." Answer the subordinate again.

"Why don't you explain why you didn't know where he was on that ship?"

"Leader, as I gather information, I really don't see the whereabouts of any of the Zhenwu sect heroes." The man tried to explain.

"Leader, is that just a strategy so we don't attack the ship?" The deputy leader gave his input.

"We better retreat, because the power of the lightning element is very beneficial if it is on water like this." Close the leader and immediately signal to turn around.

That is what makes the leader of the pirates undo his intention to attack the ship boarded by them.

On one of the pirate boats, when the distance to the ship they were targeting was far away, the leader said.

While on the boat, Chen Song still remained seated quietly while conversing with the ship owner and also the merchant he escorted.

With a face that looked very sad, the owner of the ship began to recount the events he had experienced before.

Chen Song and the nobles who were escorted by him curiously continued to hear the man's story while enjoying the wine.
