Chapter 60. Salvaged

Fan Tian continued to dart away and jump from one tree to another to remove any traces so as not to be chased by anyone.

And after a while later knowing that there was no one to follow him, Fan Tian immediately went to the place where the blacksmith he had visited before was.

When he arrived, the cottage that became the blacksmith's residence now looked lonely and there was no activity at all.

"Where is the blacksmith? Why is there no activity in this place? Has he left this place!?" Thought Fan Tian who kept circling the hut in order to ascertain where the figure he was looking for was.

A moment later, Fan Tian finally tried to enter the hut.

Inside the hut, Fan Tian found no signs of life inside.

"Did that man never live here? Why does it look like it hasn't been occupied by anyone for a long time!?" Fan Tian muttered after seeing the situation inside the hut.

"Damn! Have I been deceived by that man?" Further.

"I'd better rest in this cottage alone before going back to look for the whereabouts of Miss Dong Huang and Miss Bei Feiyan..."

"I also have to find out if I can utilize the qi energy absorbed by this spear..."

"If I can do it, I'll use it when I'm in a precarious situation."

After thinking, Fan Tian finally cleaned one of the rooms inside the hut so he could occupy it.

However, before he did what he thought, the man he had met had arrived.

"What are you doing in my house?" The man's question made Fan Tian feel surprised by his arrival.

"Oh, it's because I want to clean it up so I can do it." Fan Tian replied with a smile and scratched his non-itchy head.

"Why not ask my permission?" Ask the man.

"Sorry sir, for my carelessness, but I did it because I saw like no one had ever occupied this building, so I took the initiative to clean it up and occupy it." Fan Tian replied with a shy smile.

"Are you demeaning me?" Ask the man again.

"No sir! How could I lower you!?" Reply to Fan Tian who still remained in a silly manner by scratching his head.

"Have you done my order?" Fan Tian continued to try to shift the subject.

"Yes! I'm done making that secret weapon you ordered." Answer the blacksmith.

"Well...! How can you do that? Wasn't that just yesterday!?" Fan Tian was shocked to hear the answer of the man in front of him.

"What if I'm done with it? Is something wrong?" Ask the man without burden.

"I think it's very impossible to do by an ordinary person, because making a needle has a very high level of difficulty." Fan Tian replied in response to the blacksmith's question.

"Is master a warrior who has a cultivation base above master swordsmen?" Fan Tian asked with a curious look.

"Your thoughts are too inconsequential, do you think that breaking through to become a Great Warrior is easy?" The blacksmith's reply dismissed Fan Tian's guess.

"Young people, you better get out of this place soon, because soon, they'll find you." The man continued to warn Fan Tian.

"It looks like this man is not just anyone. How could he possibly know if I was currently being chased!?" Thought Fan Tian.

"Sir, how do you know that?" Fan Tian asked curiously.

"That's because I've seen your appearance that looks like you just finished fighting. That's what made me try to guess." The man replied casually as he took out a needle and flying knife Fan Tian's order.

"This is your order.and you better leave this place soon." Continue the man while handing over Fan Tian's order.

He immediately received a needle and flying knife handed to him and also paid for the work.

Before leaving, Fan Tian slightly thought about the figure standing in front of him that was so mysterious in his opinion.

"What else do you think? Hurry up you go!" The man's orders.

"Good! Thank you sir! Then I'll go first." Fan Tian replied and immediately left the place.

And sure enough, after Fan Tian's departure, not long after a few figures arrived at the cottage and immediately split up to look for his whereabouts as well as the people who inhabited the place.

They immediately split into three groups to search for Fan Tian in that corner of Guancheng City.

And at every gate of the city, Wang Zijun had ordered the commander of the hundredth army to watch over every man who wanted to get out of Guancheng city and check every chariot or cart that would pass through the gate.

Not only that, he had ordered his troops to inspect the zone that was considered to be Fan Tian's hiding place.

Although Fan Tian's departure had not been at odds for a long time, Wang Zijun's entourage did not find the blacksmith man that Fan Tian had left behind.

The man also disappeared from the cottage.

While Fan Tian who was avoiding Wang Zijun's pursuit, now can no longer continue his escape, because all the roads he will pass, has now been heavily guarded by Wang Zijun's troops.

"If it had been like this, I would have had no other choice but to attack the standing army." Fan Tian muttered as he looked towards the dozens of soldiers standing guard.

"But after I attack them, I will continue my escape in which direction? For I will surely meet again with another army." Fan Tian continued to think.

"From being found by them, I'd better move on. And whoever's gonna get in my way, they're gonna have to die in my hands."

Fan Tian had now made up his mind to be able to leave Guancheng city despite facing hundreds or thousands of soldiers.

But before he acted, someone immediately pulled him to leave the place.

"Don't fight! Just come with me from behind." Say a figure that pulls his body.

Fan Tian was very surprised by the masked figure, as his presence was unknown to him.

Despite this, Fan Tian still followed the masked figure from behind with many questions on his head.

They both entered a tunnel whose entrance was very difficult to find.

After walking for a while, the two of them finally came out in one of the old buildings that was between several magnificent pavilions.

"Quite as you change your appearance to look like a beggar, we'll go to the residence of someone they can't search." Said the masked man.

"Actually who are you? And why would you want to save myself?" Ask Fan Tian.

"You don't have to ask who I am, because it doesn't matter to you." Reply to that figure.

"So, who told you to save myself?" Ask Fan Tian again.

"That person you know very well, so there's no point in me answering your question." Reply to that figure again.

"If you can find me, do you know where my two partners are?" Ask Fan Tian again.

"You don't have to worry about them, because both are currently in a safe state." Answer that figure.

"Good if so." Fan Tian responded.

"Come, quickly put this on to change your appearance, because we need to get out of here." Said the figure.

Fan Tian immediately did as instructed by the unknown figure.

After he finished, the figure also removed his mask and immediately looked the same as Fan Tian.

The two now looked like a beggar and went straight out of the building to get to where the figure was referring to.

The two of them began to be noticed by the soldiers who passed each other on the street. However, they could not recognize Fan Tian.

So the two continue to walk while thrusting bokor in their hands to be given money by everyone who is thrust objects in their hands both.

Fan Tian felt uncomfortable with the actions he had taken back then, but in order to escape the soldiers who were looking for him, he was forced to continue doing so.

And finally the two of them entered a gate that was the residence of the Li clan, where Li Ying was.

"Let's go in! We'll meet the man who sent me to save you." Bring that figure.

Fan Tian could only nod slowly and follow the figure from behind.
