Chapter 40 The Death of Mae Kong

Hearing Fan Tian agree to Mae Kong's proposal to fight him to the death, raised questions as well as concerns for everyone in the place.

The faces of Dong Huang and Sung Yunzhi instantly turned one hundred and eighty degrees after hearing Fan Tian accept the proposal to fight to the death with Mae Kong.

"Zhao Yun! Why would you accept his proposal to fight to the death!? Are you out of your mind?" Sung Yunzhi snapped with a trembling tone of voice as he felt extremely afraid that something might happen to the man he liked.

While Dong Huang himself could only stare intently at Fan Tian for not being able to reveal his closeness to the young man to everyone present in that place.

"Broker Zhao Yun! You'd better think about your decision one more time, because what you agreed on would be bad for you." Said Chen Song.

"Senior doesn't have to worry about my decision, because right now, I also want to be known in the martial world." Reply Fan Tian.

Chen Song could only take a deep breath then let it out again while shaking his head slowly after hearing Fan Tian's remark.

Chen Zhu was delighted after Fan Tian decided that, as he desperately hoped that his rival would lose his life against Mae Kong so that nothing else could interfere with his relationship with Sung Yunzhi.

Feeling very scared, Sung Yunzhi was not ashamed to hug Fan Tian from behind and kept asking him to abandon his intention to fight.

Fan Tian immediately grabbed onto Sung Yunzhi's two hands in order to let go of his embrace and then turned around and immediately whispered a word to reassure the woman.

"Zhao Yun! You must be careful and must defeat him immediately! Don't worry me!" Sung Yunzhi exclaimed at Fan Tian's departure.

Fan Tian nodded his head in response to Sung Yunzhi's words and immediately jumped up onto the arena stage.

"It seems like this young man is very calm and his attitude shows that he can defeat his opponent." Mumbled Dui Buqi looking at Fan Tian's attitude.

Fei Bin who heard Dui Buqi's murmur immediately responded.

"Yes! I also felt that way after noticing the attitude he showed."

"No! I'm sure he still has something that will surprise his opponent." Dui Buqi replied and explained a little.

On the stage of the fighting arena, Fan Tian was now facing each other with Mae Kong and had both prepared with their respective weapons.

The commander in charge of the arena immediately raised his voice and said.

"Please begin!" Said the commander and immediately left the fighting arena stage.

Fan Tian immediately repelled Mae Kong's spear attack with his spear while making a slight leap and circling his body in the air, then released his claw attack onto his opponent's shoulder.

Fan Tian's claws only hit the spear shaft made of metal belonging to Mae Kong.

However Fan Tian immediately thrust his spear eyes towards Mae Kong's chest.

Instead, Mae Kong looks more domineering in that fight.

"It turns out he was more experienced than me in terms of fighting, so he still looked very calm in the face of my attack." Thought Fan Tian.

Everyone who saw the situation could only be stunned to see Mae Kong's body that had been pierced by Fan Tian's spear.

"Brother Mae!" Shouted Pi Yao and the other three comrades simultaneously.

"Why didn't brother Mae Kong dodge the boy's spear strike? Wasn't that attack so easy to avoid!?" Mumbled Pi Yao.

They did not know if this was the case because Fan Tian had used his Demon Eye technique which became the mainstay technique of the Hell Valley sect to be able to kill their opponents easily.

Mae Kong's body immediately fell on the floor of the fighting arena.

Fan Tian immediately pulled out his spear and his opponent's body was instantly in a prone position.

At that moment Fan Tian felt a tremor in his spear shaft while inside Mae Kong's body.

This was because the spear had absorbed the power that Mae Kong had, thus accelerating his death.
